A Change in Moderators

[Lea's Audiobooks]

I started our Romance Audiobooks Goodreads group five years ago as an extension of the Speaking of Audiobooks column over at All About Romance for discussions between columns. It quickly grew into an entity of its own, consistently drawing in new members each month. I have so enjoyed moderating this group of romance audio lovers.

Some wonderful changes have occurred in my life over the last five years and it’s time for me to hand over the supervision of this group to a new moderator. My co-moderator, Brenda, is stepping away as well for basically the same reasons – we are prioritizing the many good things in our lives. Thank you all for a great five years!

Dee has graciously agreed to serve as the new moderator of our Romance Audiobooks group and she, in turn, has invited Jonetta and Samantha to serve as co-moderators. Dee has been active in our group since our first days and is quite knowledgeable about the romance genre and the audio industry as well.

Thank you, Lea, for your amazing leadership. And for creating something that is strong enough to go on without you! (Even though your voice will be missed, of course.) Thanks also to Brenda, who I know has worked hard behind the scenes as well as contributed so much knowledge on the technical side of things.

Thanks to Dee, Jonetta, and Samantha for taking the helm. This is a wonderful group for narrators and authors as well as listeners. I appreciate you all taking the time to keep it going.
