The UK edition of the above book has the same cover, publisher and ISBN number but different in the following;

Are you sure that they are different? Having checked WorldCat, it shows the same information as is shown on Amazon UK, except for how the publisher is shown (Haynes is the same as JH Haynes, anyway). Amazon aren't always the most accurate source of information, so I've updated the existing edition to match WorldCat:

As for published dates, the first published date for an edition is usually used.

Looking at the cover for the book in your link there is a different car to the one that is on here. I'd say that there is a difference...
