Two Versions of the same book, one missing author initials, unable to merge and now the other is GONE!

Hi, I am hoping someone can help!

There were 2 listings for Scorched - one listing the author as Jennifer L. Armentrout, and one as Jennifer Armentrout. Obviously they are the same book by the same author. Earlier someone tried to merge the two and got an error that they had too many reviews to merge. I went to see if I could do something, and the one listing for Jennifer Armentrout (no middle initial) is now GONE. There were a lot of reviews for that book that are now gone as well. Is there any way they can be recovered, and have these two book listings merged?

There are still two editions - a paperback and a Kindle. Are they not the ones you saw before?

EDIT - a GR employee has done a merge.

I am not seeing 2 different versions though. There were 2 editions previously, the way it was listed almost looked like a different author.
