James Rollins is the author of the "Sigma Force" books and other various titles. "Sandstorm" is book 1 of the Sigma Force novels and well worth a read.

Ohhh, I just read this, and I loved it. I guess I found a new series to read ;-)

I wasn't sure I would enjoy this book as much as I did. I hate getting suckered into a long running series, eventually the books all seem the same, but this was a good opener.

Yes, series have a way of killing themselves. I enjoyed the first 3 in this series. We have the pb's on the shelf if you feel like continuing. I haven't donated them yet.

Perhaps an upcoming book read to revitalize this group? Rollins would be a great author to kick it into gear.
