I can't do any books on the 1st. I have two BR already planned for that day. >.<

I have no other BRs planned, so you can decide when you want to start. Can you let the mods know too and then post the link here? Thanks :)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments It's started! Woohoo! I'm already on pg 14 of my first book. Hoping to finish it today and start the next. :)

message 54: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Starting my first book NOW. Wide awake after a long nap so hoping to make at least a good dent before going to sleep. Might even just read through with how awake I am. The heat has me "passing out" in the afternoons then up half the night. Lol.

message 55: by Jamie (last edited Aug 01, 2015 02:30AM) (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Okay working through possible titles for our first book just based on the number of letters. I figured more than likely the books will either be in this groups bookshelf, Sarah's, or Abbie's. Nothing on the group shelf.

On Sarah's:
Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios

On Abbie's
Enchanted Secrets by Kristen Middleton

That's it! So high odds it is one of these two. Rare to have a two worded title s with so many letters to both words so it eliminated a lot of possibilities there!

message 56: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments Guys sorry I've not been talking I've been busy with my july team. I could read Talker 25 with you guys as well :)

message 57: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments Oh and I read mostly everything as you guys clearly found out except for horror. I never really got into it. So, hopefully I would be good at this. And because of the time differences I probably will be around when you guys are sleeping :)

message 58: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments And I've just finished my first book

message 59: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Wow! Great job! I am just over halfway through my first.

message 60: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Okay so for
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ * _ a _ _ _ _ _
By _ _ a _ _ _ _ * _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

I feel fairly confidant guessing
Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios

It fits. The other does not. And doubtful there is much else, if any.

message 61: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments So should I guess it?

message 62: by Jamie (last edited Aug 01, 2015 03:13AM) (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments I would.

I looked a lot for any possible combos and it was just the 2 titles that worked and that a eliminated the other :)

message 63: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments how do you look for combos? I was looking too but I couldn't find any

message 64: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments I went through all the lists looking for 2 word titles. If the length looked possible right for the letter s (9 & 7) and the author name length seemed about right(7 &9) then I counted to verify. Most 2 word titles have a short word like "the" a lot. so finding a bit longer word is rare.

message 65: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments YES! We got it!!! Feel free to call a new number! :)

message 66: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments ok cool which number ?

message 67: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Any you want that hasn't been used on the list. I am not picky.

Just finished my first book! Writing my review now. So by the time Abbie pulls our next title I should be done in a few minutes :)

message 68: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments btw Jamie where are you from?

message 69: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments US-California.

You?

message 70: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments Mumbai India and we got the next number :) I am looking for combos

message 71: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments Damn no T

message 72: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments Any ideas??

message 73: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments oh wait there are

message 74: by Jamie (last edited Aug 01, 2015 03:49AM) (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments So starts with a T. At least it makes it easy to sort.

And only 4 letters to authors last name. So should make spotting it possibly easy.

message 75: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Yeah, Abbie had me nervous for a second...

message 76: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments Its probably The

message 77: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Most likely. Nothing on this groups shelves work. Checking Sarah's next.

message 78: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Okay, I am not finding anything that works. But I am also nodding off in my chair so I am off to get sleep. perhaps another letter guess will get us closer. :)

message 79: by Gayatri (new)

Gayatri | 977 comments yeah I wasn't finding anything either. I am going out, I'll keep checking later

message 80: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So I'm about 30% done the Selection and despite little sleep still going strong. Let's hear it for caffeine! Whoop! lol. I'm planning on using S for my letter and E for my bonus letter since it's a BR.

message 81: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So my best guess of some of the words so far is:

The * _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ * of * _ _ _ _ * and * _ _ _ _ _ By _ _ _ _ _ _ _ * _ _ _ _

message 82: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments For some reason I'm certain it's like a historical or contemporary book. Similar to whatever Rebel Belle is. >.< Gah!

message 83: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments This might help us. I couldn't find anything but maybe it will help spark one of you?

Reading Rediscovered (readingrediscovered) | 876 comments Finished book 1. Guessed R.

message 85: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Jessica wrote: "Finished book 1. Guessed R."

That should help hopefully. ^-^

message 86: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Jessica wrote: "Finished book 1. Guessed R."

Wait, Jessica you have to choose a beginning letter in the title or the authors name. You can't just choose any letter unless it's a BR. >.<

Reading Rediscovered (readingrediscovered) | 876 comments Oh...cuz Gayatri chose A for hers so I guess I just assumed it was any letter in the title.

Which would be best then: m c w b

message 88: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Jessica wrote: "Oh...cuz Gayatri chose A for hers so I guess I just assumed it was any letter in the title.

The authors first name was Amanda so she could use A. It's hard to know but maybe M?

Reading Rediscovered (readingrediscovered) | 876 comments Ah makes sense. Couldn't see that on my tiny phone screen!

message 90: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Jessica wrote: "Ah makes sense. Couldn't see that on my tiny phone screen!"

I know. I hate the phone app sometimes. Not everything shows up on it and it's hard to see previous posts. -.- Still it's better than nothing if you don't have a computer nearby. :P

Reading Rediscovered (readingrediscovered) | 876 comments I'll try to get on the computer every couple of days to update my other challenges and write my longer reviews but most of the time I'll just have to use my phone as it's easiest.

Reading Rediscovered (readingrediscovered) | 876 comments Shoot! No M's!

message 93: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Jessica wrote: "Shoot! No M's!"

Damn. :(

Well I'm at about 35% now. A whole 5% more than an hour or two ago. Woohoo! >.< That was a tad bit on the sarcastic side. lol. So hopefully by this afternoon/evening we will be able to use my S and E and get some results. Happy Reading!

message 94: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Just finished the Selection! Going to write my last comments on the BR thread and writ up my review. :)

message 95: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Guys the puzzle has been updated and I choose some good letters. Still not sure what it is though. Any thoughts?

T _ e * _ _ _ _ _ _ _ s * _ _ * _ _ _ _ * _ _ _ * _ _ s _ _ By _ _ _ _ _ _ e * _ _ _ _

message 96: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments This one has me beyond baffled. I have gone through books both Abbie and Sarah have read plus the group shelves. Nothing fits.

message 97: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Aug 01, 2015 11:35AM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Jamie wrote: "This one has me beyond baffled. I have gone through books both Abbie and Sarah have read plus the group shelves. Nothing fits."

Me too. At least we have the one letter in the authors name now.

So my best guess of some of the words is still

The * _ _ _ _ _ _ _ s * of * _ _ _ _ * and * _ _ s _ _ By _ _ _ _ _ _ e * _ _ _ _

message 98: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So we obviously still need some vowels. What do you guys think a, i, o, or u? I don't think y is in there. >.>

message 99: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Also I think I'm going to switch around what I was going to read today and join the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone BR today. That will give us a bunch of letters to work with. ^-^

message 100: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Just finished a book where I can use J or B. lots 8 letter words use the letter b so that is likely a better guess.

For vowels, Try a. it is more common
