Hi Jim! Thanks for checking the thread!
I have never worked on a collaboration before, until an art friend and I decided to do something together and the idea for the book was born.
I can imagine that in cinema, the team effort is crucial for success, so it is indeed a form of creative collaboration. Did you like the experience? Was there any moment you found difficult?

Wow, I can imagine that. There is absolutely so many details and stages when it comes to making a movie... I have no experience with such thing, but I can only speculate that the tension you talked about could have been caused by the team not being used to "follow" orders/directives from the director? Some people feel under pressure when there is someone telling them what to do ^.^
Indeed, Jim, creative people is spoiled, I know from experience :)
Also, interesting experience this when you worked as First Assist. Director - and this person suggesting how you guys should do your job with his/her suggestions :P
I can only imagine the huge amount of energy one needs to work in such a project :)

I am author of
Art Collab – Artistic Collaboration in the Digital Era
It is suitable for art lovers, artists and creative minds.
Here is the book blurb:
"Art Collab – Artistic Collaboration in the Digital Era" is a celebration of diversity; diversity of cultures, techniques, styles and creative thinking.”
The World Wide Web has changed the ways of the Art Community. Today there are no boundaries for artists from around the globe to interact with each other, exchange experiences and creative juice. The Digital Era has ignited a true creative genesis where the “ordinary” person has the chance to create and present something “extraordinary” to a web audience and where the so-called “artists” can grow, learn and re-invent themselves at a much faster pace within a web of information. This book presents to you a little slice of pie of what happens when one join forces with other creative minds, in person and/or through the means of the internet. You can create something big and innovative, no matter where you are: your imagination is the limit.
If you are an art lover, a creative mind, an artist who is curious about what happens around the Art Community, is in search of new ideas for your next big project and/or is willing to grow and stretch your artistic skills, this book is for you.
