"Hm? Well how old are you? Let me guess... over one hundred? Its so weird that all works." She stood up and then bent down and put her fingers in the water
Nope. I am only 19." He smiled and laughed a little. "I am a devil so i age until 21."
"Oh really? That's interesting! Most people around here are like... Really old! I'm 17." She chuckled and then shook her head
He laughed with her. "You wanna know why i am so strong?" He looked at her cheerfully.
She looked at him a little confused and then blinked a few times, "I'm not entirely sure." She said slowly
"I an the son of war. One of the four horseman. I also bonded with the hellsword ragnorok." He smiled.
She chuckled and then shook her head, "Well it must be nice knowing that you can defend yourself when you need to." She wasn't really that strong... At all
"Thats why it was so impressive that you kept up with me in devil form. You are quite skilled and pretty strong." He smiled and bruched a stray hair from her face.
She hid her face and then shook her head, "Yeah, not really. But I am good at hiding." She nodded and then closed her eyes for a moment, then looked up at the stars.
"You need to think more highly of yourself. Ypu are an amazing person and tou need to start realizing that." He smiled and laued down.
She laid down next to him and then bit her lip, "Thank you." She told him as she looked at the stars, and then at him and back at the stars. She smiled lightly and then closed her eyes
He rolled over to face her. He smiled abd leaned in. He never had a person that he had liked. His lips met hers abd he waiyted for her reaction. He hoped he didn't mess anything up or was to hasty.
She blinked a few times, wondering if she was dreaming or if he was joking with her or whatever. Did demons joke like that? She didn't really know. She wasn't sure if she should, but she didn't really care at that point, she was hoping that it wasn't a trick. She gently leaned in as well.
He smiled in mid kiss and had never felt as happy. He sat up bringing her with him. He didnt want to part but he did. "Wow... so thats what that feels like." He looked at her and smiled.
She laughed shakily and then nodded, "Yeah..." She looked at the ground and them smiled a little as she bit her bottom lip.
He smiled and lifted her face up to his. "You are cut when ypu are blushing.
She looked at him and then smiled shyly, "I don't think so." She told him in a low tone as she let her gaze fall to the ground.
He smiled and looked at the stars. "I will see you soon." He got up and brushed of his pants and looked down at her.

She blushed again and then nodded with a small frown, "I know." She said as she gently took his hand and then frowned deeper.
"There is a lot of scars. I have destroyed my hands." he looked at her. "I've been through a bit."
She stroked the back of his hand and then turned it around and gently ran her fingers over it. "I'm sorry."
"It fine. I wouldn't be as strong without them." He looked into her eyes.
She continued to run her fingers over his palm as she looked at him and nodded. "I know."
"You know the past will only hold you back." HE smiled and kissed her forehead again. "Thats why you shouldn't worry about what has happened to me."
She let go of his hand and then sighed a little. She looked at her fingers and then bit her lip and tried to hide the burns that had appeared on them. Then she looked at the stars and smiled.

I march forth in my true form, and rest by the pool. I always come here when I need to reflect, or relax.
Lapis sat on top of one of the rocks surrounding the pool, watching the water slowly flow. She looked up as she heard footsteps coming closer.
I blow gently into the water, making calm ripples, and a little bit of steam.
