I curse myself as I realise that I have become sidetracked. I will have a fight yet, and it shall be one to sing about. Without warning, I punch the hunter with enough force to shatter bones. I put myself into a fighting stance, and yell a battle cry.

Jewel grunted and stumbled backwards. So much for stalling. She scowled and leaped up into a tree. She swung to the very top and looked down at Judgment. She realized the Fear couldn't climb the tree and huffed. "Fear! Go home!" She saw her dog hesitate. "Go. Home!" she repeated. Fear growled but turned around and sprinted away.
"MURDERER! THESE PEOPLE ARE INNOCENT!" I smash into the tree again, but this time I grab her ankle before she can jump. I throw her into another tree, and charge yet again.
Jewel squeaked but managed to catch herself before she got hurt. She sprang from a tree and dove into the little pond. She surfaced and scowled. "Actually, I've never murdered anyone personally. And no, they're not innocent! The only reason I am what I am in the first place is because these stupid Mythicals are not innocent! And you would be no better than the hunters that do kill if you killed me!"
"So let me guess, you're just a reasearcher, or a scout." I grip my sword even tighter. "And what do you mean that the people here are not innocent?"
Jewel floated herself out of the water and pulled the dampness out of her hair and clothes. "No. I'm a trapper. And I mean they aren't innocent. Simple as that. They shunned a child simply because she was different. I was stronger, I am stronger than all of them but my powers came late. They over looked the fact that I had the potential to be the greatest hero they'd ever seen because I found my powers later than everyone else. So I became the greatest danger they'd ever seen. They brought their fate upon themselves when they ignored me, a ten year old girl who couldn't figure out why everyone hated her so much."
"So? They were only doing what humans do: they shunned difference. And that is why no one knows me- because they would fear me."
Jewel glared at Judgment. "Yeah. But they aren't humans, they're supposed to be the higher beings. Higher intelligence. But they aren't. Mythicals live in this haven because humans judge them because they're different. The reality is, they're no better than humans. That's why I trap them. I trap Mythicals and sell them to humans so they can be put into freak shows. They need to learn their lesson, have a taste of their own medicine."
I open my mouth to comment but am hard pressed to come up with a retort. If what she says is true...
Jewel could sense that he was wavering. "Think about it. If you were put in my position what would you do? You would want revenge, wouldn't you? Wouldn't you want to get back at the people that hurt you so badly? Made you feel like you were worthless and stupid?"
"Yes?" I start to feel something inside me, encouraging me. "Yes, they would have insulted me and hurt me deeply, so I would want revenge."
"Exactly. I'm not a murderer personally. I've never killed anything bigger than a rabbit. People like you, people who try to kill hunters, they're just judging a book by it's cover. We have reasons for doing what we do. We aren't just mindless maniacs."
Jewel crossed her arms over her chest. She knew she was winning, but she didn't want to celebrate yet. He could just as easily decide that hunters were just stupid and he would do what he wanted. "And the fact that I'm not fighting with you right now, shows that we know when we're outmatched. We have common sense like everyone else. We just use it better."
"My whole life.. spent fighting for an immoral cause..." I mutter, doubting many things that I have done. My mind runs through what to do, settling on one option. "Where do I sign up?"
"You do realise that if you are lying and this is a trap that you will suffer twice as much for it?"
"I do. That's why I'm not lying. I told you before, hunters aren't stupid." Jewel turned around. "If you want to fight for the right cause, just follow me," she said without looking at him. She started walking into the forest.
Jewel could hear Judgment following her. She smiled in victory. Now, she could celebrate.
((End?))
((End?))
Jade was up in a tree reading, absent mindedly rubbing her scar. Her dog Lyle was curdled up asleep at the base of the tree.
Jade felt lightning nearby and looked over. She finally noticed the other girl. "How's that going for you?" she called.
"You just randomly get struck by lightning?" Jade asked, putting her book in her bag and flitted over to the new girl, Lyle following.
"Hello!" Jade smiled.
((Aaaaand queue burning scar))
The black scar on the back of Jade's neck suddenly started burning and she flinched. "Oh come on... Again?" she rubbed the scar and pouted.

Lyle made a funny whining/growling noise at Arthur and wagged his tail.
"Something like that." Jade looked around and saw the yellow eyes in the tree she'd been reading in only a moment ago. "LEAVE ME ALONE YOU STUPID SON OF A DITCH WEED!" Jade shouted at the werecat that had been following her and trying to kill her more intensively than ever.

There was a growling laugh from the tree and a panther dropped gracefully down from it.
Jade flinched again as her scar stemmed into a throbbing in her head.

"I wish I could but this guy," she gestured to the panther, "gave it to me so I can't fix it or get rid of it!" She pouted.
The panther growl/laughed again and pounced at Freedom, claws unsheathed.
Before it could reach her though, Jade called down some lightning to zap it. "Yay! That worked!" Then the panther got back up and she muttered, "Sorta..."

Lyle barked at the panther and it smacked him into the water.
"Hey! Rude!" Jade scowled and zapped the panther again, but it didn't seem to do anything.

The panther growled and slashed at the spikes but all that happened was that the panther yowled in pain.
"Nice! What are those?" Jade asked.
"Nice! What are those?" Jade asked.
"Oh fun." Jade nodded too.
((Fleet, shift forms.... now!))
Suddenly the panther was gone, and a man with shaggy black hair in his twenties was standing there, grinning like Cheshire Cat.
"Ew," Jade mumbled.

The man bowed elaborately. "Fleet Goar at your service."
"I dun like you leave me be!" Jade whined at him.
"Alas, I cannot. As you have taken power from me. It's only fair that I do the same to you." Fleet shrugged.
"You were terrorizing people you psycho." Jade pouted.

"No. He's trying to kill me because I destroyed his books because he's a meany."
"Mind taking the spikes down?" Fleet asked.
"Mind taking the spikes down?" Fleet asked.
"Well, I was trying to be polite, but you declined my kindness." Fleet shrugged and turned into a lithe cat. He easily slipped through the spikes, then turned back into a human. "To bad." He shrugged.
((Queue poison dart!))
Fleet whipped a dart gun out of his jacket pocket and softly shot Jade. "Nice seeing you Jade." He laughed darkly and sprinted away.
"Son of not nice word!" Jade growled, pulling the dart from her arm. "That hurt!" And then she fainted.

Lyle barked and spat the dart at Freedom's feet then gave her a look that said, Well figure out what that is first.
((Um... Its uh... *thinks hard* It's a uh... vampire... cobra... poison... yeah. That sounds like it could be a real thing. Fun fun))
Jade was still in her frozen coma, and Lyle was sitting patiently.

((Um. No. :| Maybe like the magestical Lupus Sliver flower can heal her and only vampires know how to find them so she needs to find a vampire to fix her))
Lyle barked and planted himself beside Jade.

((I have a vampire! Wait no she's being used.... :/))
Lyle barked again and nosed Jade's bag because there's a book that says where to get it in there.
((IH YEAH! I have another vampire! His name is P...ay...son...?))
