I really enjoyed that one.

How was it? I have been thinking of starting that series.

I love YA books so I will definitely read these. Thanks Erica

The Heir Apparent a Life of Edward VII the Playboy Prince and
A Royal Experiment the Private Life of King George III.

I also recently bought 17 Carnations- the Royals, the Nazis and the Biggest Cover up in History by Andrew Morton.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I came away with what I feel confident was a very accurate picture of the Queen Alexandra, one quite different from what I read about her previously. I highly recommend this book.

I am reading about Henrietta in a fiction by Karleen Keon. Would you recommend "Loyal in Love"? Thank you.

Nancy Goldstone.

Nancy Goldstone."
Sounds good. Let me know what you think of it. Two strong-willed women dominating the history of France.

Have both on my Kindle. Glad to hear they will be worth reading. Have some of the rest of this series on my WL.

I have also just read "Mrs. Keppel and her Daughter" by Diana Souhami. Mrs. Keppel was the last of King Edward VII mistresses'. This book is a study of her and her daughter Violet who famously was the lover of Vita Sackville West among others.

Next I will be reading "Edwina Mountbatten: A life Of Her Own" by Janet Morgan.

i'd recommend anything by plaidy -- all her biographical historicals that I've read have been good, and i've read more than 2/3 of them.

Thank you for your comments / recommendations.

I really enjoyed that book. I picked it up, without knowing it was part of a series. I have been meaning to go back and read the first two books in the series.

How are you liking this book? I always enjoy reading Alison Weir.

I am looking for book recommendations on the children of Victoria & Albert.

There's Victoria And Her Daughters, which, if memory serves me, has a great ton on Vicky, some on Alice and Beatrice, but not much on Helena or Louise.

Edward was V&A son and heir: https://www.amazon.com/Edward-VII-Las...
Note: There are other books written about Queen Victoria that include much about her children and grand children especially her granddaughters. I don't know how deep a dive you are willing to make but those books are just as interesting and informative.
For example: ttps://www.amazon.com/Born-Rule-Reigning-Con....
Happy reading.
