I wasn't quite sure how to title my post. On my blog, I'm offering chocolate in exchange for a review of my book. Yes, it's bribery. Basically, I'm doing a drawing. One lucky reviewer will get chocolate from me. Here are the details: http://emmawolf.wordpress.com/2014/02...

Your seriously offering people chocolate in exchange for a review? lol. This is either genius or wickedly evil I haven't decided which but good luck and I hope it works for you.It's not entirely a bad thought, I titled my upcoming 3rd book, 'Like A Box of Chocolates' and to promote it I considered offering chocolates. After reading this, I'm thinking maybe its not such a bad idea after all!
I'll let you know how it works, but I think with a book title "Like a Box of Chocolate," you pretty much have to do it too!
I told you I'd report back. It did not work at all. Not even my friends took me up on the offer :( It could be a matter of just I didn't promote it enough. Your mileage may vary. Let me know how it works for you if you try it.
I hope it was just user error. I really did little to promote it (because I'm not quite sure what to do). I think it would work better for someone who already had a bit of a following.
