Less edited edition of A Moveable Feast by Hemingway

I am reading what is referred to as "the restored edition" of Hemingway's book "the Moveable Feast., " meaning that this edition is " less edited and more comprehensive version of the original manuscript."
Reading along in this light and enjoyable descriptions of his young life in Paris, the reader occasionally comes upon a blank space where the author is trying to come up with an satisfying metaphor. I wonder what words these blanks have been filled with in the more edited editions.
