He shook her head "it is fine my lady."
The maid smiled and started to work at the stain. She hummed quietly to herself. This actually was not too bad.
The maid sighed as she finished up, holding up the dress and looking it over carefully. "Nice work." She said softly to herself before starting to blot it dry.
The maid walked into the bathroom, smiling happily. "All done" she said cheerily. She smiled at Raine, "how was your bath?" She asked with a bright smile.
The maid nodded "it was nothig."
The maid smiled "come ere I will if it for you." She said gently. She could Tell Raine was nervous and wanted to keep her calm.
She smiled as she pulle a sewing lot out o a drawer before getting on her knees before starting to sew. "How did this happen?" She asked quietly
Thesis frowned "how could you possibly trip, there is not enough length on the dress." She said quietly((What if she where to confide in the maid and only she knew the secret an was sworn to keep it and she actually stood up to Andrew when he got angry at Raine))
((That sounds good.))"Lillith." She said with a smile "it was my grandmothers name." She looke up "but you can just call me Lilly if you please." She said gently.
Lilly frowned "why did you not tell Prince Andrew, I am sure he would have put an end to it, he is not one to sit back and watch such a thing." She was almost done with the sewing but slowed down, wanting to stahl and talk a bit longer. She was genuinely interested in what Raine had to say.
Lilly sighed. "It's seems as I the prince has taken a fancy to you, I must tell you that is a good sign." She looked back down to her sewing as she continued. "I'm sure he would understand." She said quietly.
She nodded "but you still are Novak by blood are you not? So why should it make a difference to Prince Andrew?"
((I'm so sorry if my grammar and spell checking is worse then normal I went to the ER last night and I'm loopy on pain meds xD)) Lilly tilted her head a bit "I beleive you, why wouldn't the prince?" She asked as she stood up slowly with the sewing kit."
((Yeah there was just something wrong with my lungs I'm used to it.))She noddedv"I won't tell anyone" she said again
((I'm feelin a bit better with the pain killers xD they just make me a bit distant.))Lilly bowed slightly before walking over and puttin the sewin kit back in a drawer "so are you going back to the ball?" She asked softly.
Lilly sighed but nodded "you are not even going to say goodbye to him? He seems to fancy you."
She sighed quietly "I guess you are right, I am sorry."Gabriella paced at the entrance to the mansion "I don't get it Mother, I stopped the dance but he refused to dance with me, I am pretty aren't I?" She turned "and even more so then Raine, so why?"
Lilly smiled and nodded "you are welcome." She said with a smile. Andrew stayed up in his throne for the remainder of the night, staring into the crowd as he scanned for Raine. He was hoping to finish his dance with her, and only her.
Gabriela huffed and crossed her arms "I bet the little brat said something, I feel as if he glared at me, but I may be wrong, after all the waiter the spille the wine was right next to me."
Gabriela looked over "you think?" She asked softly. She moved over to the stairs, sitting down slowly as she looked at her mother. "Maybe I should even wear a better dress, maybe then he'll take more intrest."
Gabriela looked up the stairs with a glare "who do you think you are?" She asked coldly.
Gabriela stood and glared "tht wa supossed to be my dance."
She made a face. "What did you even do to trick him into dancing with someone like you?"
Gabriela glared "you had to have done something."
Gabriela frowned but didn't say anouther word.
Gabriela smiled contently to herself before going up the stairs, pushing Raine slightly in the way up.
Gabriela went up to her room, sighing softly as she sat in her bed. "She's so disobedient." She whispered to herself before starting to play with the lace t the end of her sleeve.
Andrew sighed as he finally got up and left the ball room. He was hoping to find raine again but had finally given up when the ball was ending. HE walked up to his room where Mathew was waiting.
((Want to skip to a week later, maybe he runs into her I'm the street and she tries to hide but he sees her too fast.))
Andrew sighed as He rode through town again, the streets where a bit more crowded then before but he was not being bombarded with women asking for his hand in marriage. He scanned the crowd with a sigh.
((Sorry was not home))Andrew looked UP AND AROUND, seeing Raine in the distance, a small smile coming across his gas as he urged Aphrodite to go abit faster.
Andrew frowned "Raine!" He called through the crowd.
Andrew frowned, kicking Aphrodite to go faster, now practically pushing through the large crowd as Mathhew struggled to keep up.
Andrew caught up with her, moving around so he was in front of her. "Why are you running away?" He asked firmly yet gently.
((Sorry for him calling out her name earlier I kind of slipped))Andrew got down slowly. "Where did you go?" He whispered quietly "at the ball, I was looking for you"
HE frowned and very gently took her arm, taking caution not to hurt or alarm her. "Please stay" he whispered, "I want a chance to sit down and talk with you."
Andrew smiled as he took her hand and raised it to his lips, kissing it gently. "Thank you." He whispered "how about we talk at the cafe down the road" he suggested with a smile, kin of shocked she didn't swoon at his actions like the other girls would have. She truly was a different one.
He smiled and turned to Mattew "take Aprodite" he said simply before holding or it his arm for her to slide her arm through.
HE smiled gently as he started leading her to the Cafe. "I wanted to apologize for the other night" he whispered. "My Butler wanted to formally apologize also, he seems to have tripped. HE new what had really happened, all of it, but didn't want to say anything as he knew it was something he was not supposed to see in the first place.
He lead ger to the doors, opening them an leading her in
He smiled as he sat Down with her And Matthew sat a table over. "So how have you been since the dance?"
He smiled "it's fine" he whispered "it was not your fault"
He looked up and shook his head a bit before calling over a waiter. "Could I please have two small berry sundaes?" he asked with a polite smile as the Waiter's eyes widened and he did a small bow. "of course your highness."
Andrew smiled. "its fine" he assured her.
He smiled as the sundaes came back and he watched Raine carefully.
He smiled "Eat, its my treat to apologize for the ball."
He tilted his head and smiled happily "I thought you would enjoy it."
He watched her with a bright smile, taking small bites of his own.
He frowned "What is the rush, are you not happy with talking to me?" He whispered, sounding a bit disappointed.
