Ruchi (ohlookitsruchi) The Bartimaeus Trilogy, for some reason. Terry Pratchett is my favourite writer, but I just love the way Jonathan Stroud handled his characters in that series...

message 29: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) I can't say which book is my favorite, but I can say which author is my favorite: Sherrilyn Kenyon.

She's most noted for writing the Dark-Hunter series, but she writes a lot more than just that. Along with the Dark-Hunter books (which includes the Dream-Hunter and the Were-Hunter series), she also writes others. These include the Beuro of American Defense (BAD), The League, the Lords of Avalon, the Brotherhood of the Sword, and the Chronicles of Nick. Also there is the two upcoming books, the Belador series and the Nevermore series.

And of course, that's not even counting her spin off graphic novels, the Dark-Hunter Manga series and the Lords of Avalon comics done by Marvel. The woman is just too awesome for words, I swear :).
