What ending would you prefer more than the one in the book?

If you thought the ending was bad, what ending would you have wrote if you made the book?

[Moses]

I would have liked for Gabe and Jonas to find an actual sign of life, like a light post or somebody in the distance. This would at least end the book with hope, instead of, well, whatever happened to the two in the actual book.

I was disappointed in the lack of closure. Hopefully, the other books will help.

It would've been better if it explained what happened when Asher and Gabe got to the town. For all we know they could've went to a cannibal tribe
