Ok, so the Poldark remake with Aidan Turner as the brooding Ross Poldark is my new obsession. Word is that Aidan Turner was the only actor considered to play Ross in the remake.

Admittedly I never saw the original 70s series, nor have I read the books. However, I do now have the books on my to be read list.

What book would you like to see made into a series? Do you have a fantasy cast in mind?

Ross2075 | 8 comments Seeing as how I'm named after the Ross Poldark character...I'd better check it out.

I think Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch would make for an awesome BBC miniseries. Although I hear that the book is going to be a movie but I'm not sure if that's true or not.

I also think that Cormac McCarthy's The Border Trilogy: All the Pretty Horses, The Crossing, Cities of the Plain would make for a cool HBO series. They made All the Pretty Horses a movie but it was a flop and not very good. A HBO series of all the books would be better.

I hear that the rumors of a Good Omens series or movie circle periodically but nothing has gone concrete. Apparently Terry Gilliam was pitching to direct it. Now they are saying maybe a BBC series.

Katherine | 103 comments So since my wish has been fulfilled with the Outlander series, I think my next choice would be Sarah Addison Allen's books. Garden Spells most of all.

Garden Spells (Waverley Family, #1) by Sarah Addison Allen

Oh, I like her books also and would love to see it in a series also.

We are reading Jane Gardam's book "Old filth" this month in our book club and it is part of a trilogy. I would just love to see it made into a BBC series!
