Am I the only one who hates Annabeth?

@H99, that doesn't explain why she never got punished by the teachers though, like the time when she crashed her broomstick onto the podium during Quidditch game while seriously injuring someone she hated.
Well...a few of the teachers had reason to dislike the person she crashed into. Who cares anyway? I'd rather read about Harry's experiences than Ginny's. He is the main character.
If that person was evil, would you be ranting about the injustice of it all?
I wouldn't be ranting....but if any person did something that wasn't right, I would think they had some injustice.

Hello? It's Annabeth hater topic not Ginny, though I'm not too fond of her but that maybe because I don't remember (I read the books a long time ago!) the Book Ginny and my image of her is just based on Movie Ginny who positively sucks! My point is back to Annabeth you all although now I'm thinking to make a thread: 'Am I the only one who hates Ginny?'

@nightlock I agree with you about ginny. Movie ginny ruined book ginny for me and I never really connected with ginny's character in the first place.
I honestly never thought so many hate Annabeth. It's a major shock for me.
And I also agree with Neha on why ppl dislike characters post and on how Annabeth is someone who is relatable to. Atleast for me.

I agree. I wish Annabeth would be more considerate, and wouldn't make it seem like everybody else was dumb! I do ship Percabeth though.
That's her fatal flaw, though. Pride.
She doesn't call everyone dumb. Annabeth herself has stated that Percy is smart, It's just that she thinks he is oblivious to certain things. Other demigods know certain things too.
Indeed, my friend, you are. But I do see your point. Annabeth can be like that. But she was frantic, finding Percy, looking EVERYWHERE! And now that she's overprotective, CAUSE HE WENT AWAY FOR LIKE, 8 MONTHS (I really don't feel like getting up to check the books, so I apologize if I got the time frame wrong)!

Reminds me of when I was little and I HATED chocolate because eating it would always give me a nasty headache or nosebleed or stomach ache or a combination of all 3. When I mentioned to my classmates how much I disliked chocolate they just looked SO shocked and were like "How can you POSSIBLY hate chocolate?????????"
But yeah, back to the topic of Annabeth. I detest her yet both of my best friends really liked her character.
@Katie, yep that was the reaction of most people when I say I hate chocolate. I don't hate it as much as I used to but I still don't like it very much.Anyways back to the subject of Annabeth. Hating her is like hating chocolate. You will get a lot of people being like "......Hating Annabeth? That's HORRIBLE!" Which further supports the point of why do many Annabeth haters don't really express their opinion on her.

LOL I completely see your point and Katie just proved it :P Seriously when people hate Annabeth they are really defensive because majority are always looking to attack them!
PS: I am not in any way saying I hate chocolate. I'm probably the biggest chocoholic in the whole world!
The comparison is great. But it also shows that like hating chocolate and strawberries, the haters of annabeth really don't have reason to hate annabeth. Strawberries and chocolates are something the majority likes, but like everything in the world there are always some haters, so that's okay :P :)

I have a friend who hates chocolate, so every time the teacher passes out chocolate they have to try to find something else to give him.
I've never met people who hate chocolate. So sad that they can't eat Snickers, Twix, Hershey Bars, Kit Kats, Milky Way, Cadbury, Mars, etc.
Tessa hated chocolate? I forgot, I guess. Oh, well.And I agree with Katie about coconut and pineapple. Those two fruits and flavors are just...ugh!

I hate coconut, especially coconut juice. It makes me throw up if I drink it in medium quantity's. I love pineapple, though.

*reads thread and tries to understand their pov*well, i guess we all have our own opinions. I hated piper and then I posted a thread on why i hated piper and i got bullied so much that i left the group:) so, Im not judging:)
Piper's great but she's nowhere near my favorite character. If I didn't say Leo was at least my 3rd favorite, people would get real mad at me so I now think I understand why some people hate Annabeth. This is how my favorite of the 7 goes:1: Percy

7: Jason
Please note that I do not dislike anyone,(just a teeny bit for Jason) I just like some people a little better. I t was real close. Go ahead and get mad at me, Leo lovers. I don't get how he says he can't get a girl, when at least, at least half the population of fans are in love with him.
