((Is it just me, it does this seem to be going downhill?))
((No it's not we maybe just need to skip ahead to something more dramatic??))
((Okay yeah- where should we skip to?))
((Ummm. What if something happened to Isabelle while they were all at school and Zach offered to take Steph to see Katie but doesn't know that's what he is actually offering to do?))
((Okay cool you want to start us off maybe they are all at lunch or something?)
((Yeah sure))Steph sat her tray down at the table where the rest of them were sitting, before taking a seat beside Isabelle.
Bryan took a swig of juice before saying, "so as far as casting goes I was thinking me a and Isabelle for the main two Knights?"
Isabelle nodded slightly putting her chin in her hands as she listened to Bryan not once taking a bite of her food," I suppose that could work." Zach took a forkful of his pasta and then said." Yeah I can deal with that but what are me and Steph supposed to do stand there and look pretty?"
Bryan rolled his eyes. "You two are gonna have the toughest parts," he says, "being all the extras. See there's never gonna be a scene without all four of us."Steph listened, taking some bites if her lunch.
Zach nodded," We will be fine and everything will work out for the lost part as long as I'm not spouting off some ridiculously long lines I'll be alright." He said Isabelle sighed softly," can you all just not talk to loudly?" She asked
Bryan didn't hear Isabelle as he talked to Zach. "Fine we'll make a part for you where you're the guy who stands around saying 'uhhhh duhhh,' think you can remember that?" He laughed. "What's wrong?" Steph looked over at her.
Zach laughed softly;" I'm not going to stand around and do nothing or say that." He answered shaking his head Isabelle shook her head," I just don't feel good at all." She said softly
Bryan shrugged. "We'll figure something out, then." "What happened? Do you have a headache? I've got some aspirin," Steph said.
"We always figure something out Bryan." He answered ten glanced at Isabelle. "Izzy what's wrong?" He asked frowning. His whole attitude changing Isabelle closed her eyes," No I just hurt all over Steph.... Stop talking so loud it hurts my ears." She complained putting her head in her folded arms on the table
"Oh, sorry Izzy," Bryan lowered his voice. "Do you need to head on home?" Steph ashes her.
"Izzy?" Zach got up and frowned gently touching the side of her neck and then shaking his head," come on let's go to the nurse so you can go home." He said softly Izzy nodded a little," Okay but first make the room stop spinning," she said softly," I can't drive if I'm dizzy."
"I'll drive you home," Bryan quickly volunteered. Steph stood up from the table.
Zach looked over at his best friend," alright come on izzy let's get all of your stuff." He said softly Isabelle nodded," Okay." She said softly slowly raising her head and then getting up
Bryan and Steph both went over to help her up and get her stiff.
Zach frowned at how pale his sister was and just picked her up," I'll get your work from all of your classes." He told her softly. He was a good brother and friend to Isabelle when he wanted to beIzzy nodded," Okay... Thanks Zach." She said softly
Bryan came over and helped Zach support her. "You'll know better where her stuff is, I can take her to the car," he offered. Steph nodded. "I'll help with the gear," she told Zach.
Zach looked down in worry at his sister and then nodded slightly," Okay you take her to your car I'll call my mom and see what else to do while me and Steph get her stuff."Isabelle closed her eyes
Bryan nodded, taking her out to the parking lotSteph followed Zach.
Isabelle laid her head on his shoulder with a sigh Zach shook his head," I knew she didn't look like herself this morning."
Bryan found her car and opened the back door, laying her flat on the backseat. Steph nodded. "I did too."
Isabelle smiled a little at him," thanks Bryan." She said softly before curling up on her side. Zach shook his head a little," I told her to stay at home."
Bryan smiled. "No prob." He waited for them to show up with her stuff. "I only saw her after she was here, but I could tell. Why didn't she stay?" Steph replied.
Isabelle closed her eyes again and slowly went to sleep Zach shrugged," You know he better than I do... She's stubborn." He answered
Isabelle nodded. "Yeah I know." She said. "But she probably needs a day at least to rest after this."
Zach nodded a little bit," yeah she does if she will even listen to me while I tell her something." He muttered after getting all of her stuff," how do you get her to listen to you?"
"I don't," Steph said. "That's the first thing I found out about her is you don't tell her what to do." She grinned slightly.
Zach laughed," I didn't tell her I suggested that she stay at home for the day." He replied. " well I guess that's true... So was she always this stubborn?"
Steph nodded. "As long as I've known her."
"Lovely." Zach muttered laughing a little bit. " so if Bryan takes her home will I need to take you where ever it is you guys were planning on going?"
Steph froze, eyes widening. She hadn't even thought of that. There was no way she could get Lupita to take her, she was always trying to convince he'd not to go...
Zach looked over at her," Steph?" He said softly putting Isabelle's back pack over his shoulder
"What?" Steph jerked back to reality and looked over at him. "Oh... It was just this... Thing she takes me to see every afternoon."
Zach frowned a little," A thing?" He asked," You couldn't be anymore cryptic about that." He answered looking at her," Well I can take you, until she gets better." He offered
Steph looked down at her hands, heart racing. If he saw Katie he'd think the same thing that everyone else had: she was just a regular slut. But she couldn't miss seeing her all these days... She bit her lip and nodded. "Yeah okay."
Zach looked at her and waited as she decided what to do. "Okay then I'll take you to this thing that you and Isabelle are always talking about."
Steph nodded, heart racing, not sure if this was a good idea. "Yeah thanks." She grabbed the rest of Isabelle's gear.
"Okay I thought we got past all of this cold and nervous attitude of yours." He said looking at her," seriously I'm not like everyone else I don't think like them so calm down whatever it is that's your secret I'm not going to tell the rest of the school.... If that's what you are worried about."
Steph looked at him. "I'll believe it when I see it," she said dryly. "Now let's get this stuff to Isabelle."
"Okay whatever." He answered walking out to izzys car and putting her stuff in the front seat," So how is she doing?" He asked looking at Bryan.
Steph sat what she was carrying in the front seat as well. "I think she fell asleep," Bryan replied. "I'll get her back home now."
Zach nodded a little bit," Alright thanks... My mom isn't home and neither is dad so would you mind staying until someone gets home?" He asks
"No sure, that should be fine," Bryan shrugged.
Steph shrugged.
