Bryan shrugged. "Well it'd be good to have a refresher, but we can do it later, maybe.""It's all right, I said I'd google it," Steph said. "Since you guys have seen it there's no point in watching it again."
Isabelle shrugged a little bit," but it's a good movie and I won't mind watching it again. " she answered then looked at the time. "Ahhhh Steph do you want me to take you home now?" She asked Zach frowned," We haven't even been working that long."
Steph looked at her phone to check the time. "Yeah sure, you can if you want." She hopped off the railing. Bryan looked at the two of them. "Is something up with you guys?"
Isabelle looke over at Bryan and shook her head," Nope but she has somewhere to be at 5." She answered Zach looked at his adopted sister for a second," you aren't telling us something."
"Maybe it's cause it's none of your business," Steph cast a glance at Zach. Bryan raised an eyebrow.
Zachary frowned a little bit," jeez chill out Stephanie." He answered," Im not making you tell me." Isabelle sighed," come on Steph." She said softly
Steph sighed. "Sorry." She said before walking to Isabelle's car. "When are you guys gonna be done? Wanna plan some more after?" Bryan asked before they left.
Zach looked at them waiting for an answer. There was just something different about Steph and he kind of wanted to know what it was Isabelle looked at her best friend then at Bryan. "Umm we will be done around 7 or 7:30."
Bryan nodded. "That sound good to you?" He looked over at Zach. Steph stood by the car and didn't say anything.
Zach nodded a little," that's fine with me." He answered Isabelle opened her car door," Come on Steph." She said softly
Steph got in the car and shut the door before putting on her seatbelt. Bryan looked over at Zach before grabbing another cracker. "They're an odd lot, aren't they?" He said.
Isabelle started her car and drove off," are you going to he okay with coming back to my house after we see her?" She asked Zach nodded," yeah they are... They are hiding something."
"Yeah, why?" Steph said, trying to act a little more cheerful. Bryan nodded. "Yeah, they are. Any ideas what it is?"
"Ohhh quit that I know you way better than that Steph if you don't want to go back then don't." She told her Zach shrugged," No idea man." He answered
"No really, it's fine," Steph said, fidgeting with one of her wristbands. "It beats spending the evening at home and listening to lectures about immorality." "Girls, huh?" Bryan shook his head. "We'll have to pay attention to details and see what we can find out." He laughed slightly.
"They are still talking to you about that?" Se asked," you can't do anything else about it she's here already." Zach nodded with a smile," Yeah you are right about that one."
Steph rolled her eyes. "I know, but it doesn't seem to help. As if they'd think I'd do something that stupid again." She shrugged. Bryan laughed slightly. "So wanna watch something while we wait for them to get back?"
Isabelle sighed softly," yeah well you won't and besides you have me around." She answered smiling at her. Zach nodded," Yeah let's go... Or we can play video games."
Steph laughed slightly. "True," she said. "just... Thanks, Isabelle. Thanks a lot for being my friend." Bryan stood up. "I'm good with either, whatever you prefer."
Isabelle looked over at Stephanie and smiled," you're welcome." She answered," and it's no problem once you trusted me." She commentedZach stood up and grabbed the snacks and things." I mean we could do both sort of."
Steph lagged slightly. "I guess so. But you've got to be careful who you trust."Bryan nodded. "Yeah, there's plenty of time till they're done with whatever it is they're doing."
Isabelle smiled and pulled up to a house they had both been to plenty of times. "Here we are." Zach nodded," Yeah seriously."
Steph got out of the car and started to walk up to the door. She didn't know why, but she still got nervous every time they came here. Bryan grabbed up the rest of the snacks and started to go inside.
Isabelle followed her waiting to hear the soft little voice that always came with the fact that they were here. Zach walked inside and waited for Bryan
Steph knocked on the door and seconds later it opened. Katie's mom was holding her and when Katie saw her she reached out her arms. Steph smiled and took her. "Hey honey," she said. "Whatcha wanting to watch or play?" Bryan asked, sitting the stuff on the counter.
Isabelle smiled a bit most times she felt fine being there with Steph but others like right then she felt like she should just leave so her and Katie could have time together Zach shrugged," I don't know I'm really not in the mood to do anything."
"Can we take her to the back yard?" Steph asked. When she got consent, she said, "you coming?" To Isabelle before walking off the porch. Bryan plopped down on the couch. "Can't say that I do either."
Isabelle nodded," Ohh yeah I'm coming." She answered looking at her and then following with her Zach nodded," okay then."
Steph took kafir to the backyard and sat down on the grass with her, starting to play. Bryan sighed and grabbed the tv remote, switching it on.
Isabelle followed with a smile as she watched them play for a bit then joined in Zach sat down with him
((sorry my internet went down))Two hours had passed, and although Steph could stay here with Katie forever, she knew she had to go. Standing up with a sigh, she carried her to the back door.

Isabelle smiled as she waved to the little girl and followed Steph around to let Katie go back in with her adopted parents. She hoped one day that Steph would be able to have Katie with her always but didn't think that would happen Zach was still sort of watching tv but more sleeping that he was paying attention
Steph waved as she walked back to the car and got in. "Ready to go?" she asked Isabelle.Bryan yawned deeply and woke up.

Steph nodded and looked down at her hands, trying to hide her emotions. Bryan looked over at him and then switched off the tv.
Isabelle got into the car and looked at her," Start spilling before we get back to my house." She said softly Zach jerked awake," sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep."
"Spilling what?" Steph forced a smile. Bryan shrugged. "I did, too," he said. "I'm gonna grab something to drink."
"Whatever caused you to look like that." She answered pulling out if the driveway. Zach nodded a little bit and got up," Alright I'm going to see if mom is making dinner."
"It's nothing," Steph shrugged and looked out the window. "Just... I don't know, it's just hard." Bryan nodded. "Okay." He went into the kitchen.
"Ohh I'm sure it is but just hang in there something will happen and maybe you will get to raise Katie." She said softly. "At least then it won't seem so bad." Zach walked into the kitchen behind Bryan.
Steph shrugged. "Nah, she needs to stick with the two of them," she said quietly. She quickly tried to push everything back again and act cheerful. "Anyway, no point in sinking into depression over it I don't guess."

"Sorry," Steph shrugged. "Old habits, still, I guess."Bryan walked over to see. "What are you making, Mrs. Light?"
"It's fine just relax." She answered Kiley smiled," Oh it's just chicken pie."
Bryan grabbed another cracker and started to eat it.
