It depends. I don't know what your hair is like, texturewise, I got layers once and hated it, because my hair doesn't have enough volume to make it flip up or in and it looked weird if i just left it so I had to curl the ends every day and the layers made it that much harder to curl the ends
Well, my friends with thicker, or more volumous hair like them fine because they just sorta flipped up or in automatically, because their hair had the volume to support itself kinda thing.... But mine has NO volume whatsoever so mine just kinda hung limply and looked WEIRD.

It's because I have always kept my hair long because I used to have really short hair and I look horrible with short hair. So for many years I have grown it out and now it's really long, like maybe up to my hips. I have blond hair so I think long hair looks nice when it's blond. I wanted to get it layered like you but layers don't look nice when it's with long hair. So what I think is that if your hair reaches your back or up then layer it. If it's past the back, then don't. But it also depends on the volume. If your hair is thick then I recommend getting layers. I also think layers look nice with dark hair and my hair is light, so that was another reason I couldn't get layers but it's your choice. If your hair is light and you want layers, go for it. I'm sure it would look nice.

@Ryann Oooh do send! Your hair sounds just right for layers :) My hair also has split ends, I mean you can't have hair that long without split ends. XD but I don't mind. Straight hair is perfect for layers! I have like straggly hair. It's like kind if wavy-ish and straight at the same time so I wouldn't do layers if it's like that. Straight is perfect. Send me the pics :)

That's the problem. I use my phone and the app doesn't show photos so you'll have to wait until I'm on my laptop which will be in several minutes or so.
