We try to write the best, but simple ones become famous book What is the reason?

My publisher said you can never predict what will become famous. It has to do with what the people want at that particular time.

Fame and popularity is almost impossible to predict or plan for unless you have a massive organisation and loads of money behind you, sort of like the Star system of old Hollywood.

For small time writers like us, the best we can hope for is to find acceptance within a small group of fans. Whether this group will grow into something larger like it did for FSOG is largely up to luck and fortuitous timing.
