Monroe chuckled lightly as she kept her eyes steady on what her hands were doing. One slip, and that newly-sharpened blade was going to take of half her finger. "Yeah, the crazy new girl," she mumbled with a snicker. She hadn't actually heard much about herself. She never really paid much attention to rumors; she hated basing her self-worth off of what other people thought about her. "I'm Monroe." She glanced up at him, her brown eyes sparkling with the smile that touched her lips. Jaxon. She wouldn't forget now; she needed to keep repeating his name over and over again in her head, but she didn't want to be that rude bitch who consistently forgot his name.
Ace gave a light shrug as he matched his pace with hers, trying to think of what he would say to her. He hated bringing the topic of Monroe back into things, but that was really all he'd spent his time doing: catching up with her. He'd missed a lot, apparently. "Just... talking. I mean, I haven't seen Mimi in years. I didn't even know her family was involved with the CIA too, but then again, nobody is supposed to know." He sneered, shaking his head as he walked before continuing on. "She says everything's still the same back in the wonderful Upper East Side. Told me that Effie's a pain in the ass to work with - no surprise there." He gave another shrug as he looked back down at her with a soft smile. "You haven't missed anything good in the ever-exciting life of Sebastian Turner the Fourth," he teased with a wink.
Jack really couldn't believe it. All his life, he'd told himself that if anyone tried to push him away in a time of need, he wasn't going to listen. He was going to stay with them, refuse to leave, and in the end they would thank him for his efforts. But something about Gewls's tone was so... convincing. Like she really didn't want him there, didn't want his help. And it felt like everything else she'd told him prior to this point had been a lie.
He shook his head once more, swallowed hard, and started towards the door. He couldn't think of anything else to say, any final words that would make it extra-cheesy, so he simply opened it and left, unable to even get himself to look back at her.

but anyway hey hi what's up)

Jaxon watched the girl working with the knife. He had seen some amazing carvers. he had trained with some of the most amazing weapon experts. And she definitely seemed to have some skill. "I'm… Jaxon." He finally found himself answering her question. He didn't know what else to say, but he decided to set down the dismembered gun. "You're that one girl… I… i so to remember your name. But I've heard a lot of stuff about you. When they refer to you being the 'new girl'."
Kieera followed after him. God, things had escalated quickly for Jack and Gewls. She felt so… bad for them. "So, how have things been for you lately? Anything exciting going on?" She hadn't actually talked to Ace in quite a while. So this was going to give them a chance to catch up with each other. Things would be okay between them. Now that they had talked everything through. She felt really good about things… at least she was trying too.
Gewls shook her head at Jack. "I don't need a boyfriend. I don't need anyone. I have been alone for the majority of my life. I can make my own decisions." She watched him look down at her stomach, and couldn't help how quickly she covered it with her hands. "It was a mistake for you to come here and think things could be fixed if we talked about it. You need to go. Move on." She mumbled, feeling super lightheaded. She just didn't want to deal with anymore crap for the rest of the night. She couldn't handle it. She was emotionally drained and Jack being here only made it worse.
