Jack slipped out into the hallway, teacup in hand, appearing a few yards behind Madame Delaney and in Gewls line of sight. He gave her a wave before turning to walk down the other end of the hall. There was another spiral staircase that led all the way down to the basement, so he waited at the top for Gewls to join him after she finished with Madame.
Ace groaned. "Vents are never my friend," he complained, tossing everything he used back to where they belonged quickly, just to make sure it didn't draw attention. He followed Link's lead, getting down on his hands and knees to fit into the vents. He wasn't a particularly small guy, so small spaces weren't his area of expertise.
Bex sighed as she brushed herself off, making sure the banister still covered the entrance. "All we can do now is hope she makes it out alive," she said softly, holding the file in her hands. It had their professor's name on it, and she was so tempted to read it, but decided she'd wait for Effie since the girl would kill her if she read it without her. "Let's just head back to the basement; she'll know to meet us there," she told Kieera as she headed to the stairs.

Of course Zander wasnt as exhausted as everyone else. He could have been except for Effie had ruined that moment, when she had interupted his time with Franky, who had hung out with him until class was over than he walked her to her room. They made out for just a minute or two before he finally went back to his dorm to sit around and wait for dinner time. It could have been ten times better but he didn't seem to remember that everything happened for a reason. He was interupted for a reason that he didn't know why but he still wanted to have sex with Franky. At dinner he arrived in the corridor with a smile on his face. He was going to later. That was his big goal. It would be good.
Gewls sat at the table already, thinking about just before her and Jack and gone back to class. When she left the teacher, she ran up to him and told him she could kiss him. That she would, and she never really saw his reaction because they were trying to get back to class. But how forward? She didn't know what he would respond. She wished she would have paid attention to him, and she knew it was weird because they hardly even knew each other. She remained in her thoughts. When they got back to class they went to their seats and sat down. Listening to the lecture. And now she was at dinner waiting for everyone to come in.
Link strolled into the large room, his eyes going from table to table. Of course he went right up to Zander to sit with him. He could see that the guy was distracted and he wanted to know why he was there at the beginninof class but never returned and frankly it was the same with Franky too. He could put two and two together but he wasnt going to assume. Though things had changed when Bex and Kieera came into the room and Effie was excourtig in by headmistress. Clearly Ace and link missed something exciting.

Ace immediately sat down at the Junior's table, a tray full of food as he took his place beside Kieera. He had no idea why, but he felt it was necessary. There weren't any rules against grades mixing at dinner, but the kids usually ended up divided. "What's Effie in trouble for this time?" he asked, looking up to see the small girl walking towards them with her eyes on Franky, who sat across from him with nothing but a water bottle and an apple for dinner.
Jack avoided the junior's table as he sat down beside Link, glancing over at Zander who looked, oddly enough, more energized than the rest of them. "What'd I miss?" he asked, though his mind was elsewhere, thinking about what Gewls had said after they finished their mission. Had she meant it, saying that she could kiss him? Or was it just a figure of speech to her? He couldn't figure it out, and had spent too much time trying to.

Gewls looked over at them. "Is she okay?" She had to distract herself from her thoughts. The ones where Jack wouldn't talk to her because she was an idiot. Who says that? 'Oh, by the way Jack, I would totally kiss you because you are the smartest guy ever!' Yup. Fail. She calmly pieces herself together. Her roommate was her biggest concern. Not some guy she just met.
Zander didn't know he hadnt been participating to em find out either. All he knew was some stuff went down and it was big news. "The headmistress has something to say." He pointed out as link opened his mouth.
"I think she got caught on our assignment for class."

She sighed and crossed her arms on the table. "Told me she knew I was the one who had insisted that we all sneak out last night," she started, glancing at every set of eyes at the table, and even towards Link and Zander since they had been involved. "And that if she catches me breaking one more rule, I'm gone." She reached behind her, grabbing a file that was tucked in the back of her skirt under her shirt and tossed it on the table in front of Bex. "But I got away with this." She added an evil smile, looking at Franky.
Bex picked up the file, reading the name on the file before looking up at Franky. "Why'd you take her file?" she whispered to Effie. What was so special about Franky? Why did she have to take her file? How did she even get away with it?
Ace's eyes fell on Franky as he read the name on the file, shaking his head as he stood up. Girl drama was too much for him to handle. "I don't want to be part of this," he said with a sigh, grabbing his food as he headed towards the guy's table.
Jack looked at Ace as he approached, asking, "So?"
Ace shrugged, sitting beside them. "Effie got caught in the headmistress's office and got threatened to be expelled - again - but managed to steal Franky's file and get away with it." He laughed and shook his head, looking at Link. "You sure have an odd taste in women."

"My sister isn't any one of your guys business. You leave her alone." If they found out what she was hiding they would find out more about him and that scared the living shit right out of him. He could see if now. Everyone avoiding him because of his struggles in life. Getting kicked out of school and all that joyous stuff. "That means stayin away from her Ace. She isn't your broken toy to experiment with." He sounded pretty damn threatening. At least Link thought so.
Kieera gave her this wicked sort of smile. But obviously Bex didn't think it was all that amazing. She was good friends with the girl. Who could blame her. Effie was just brilliant. She heard Ace speak as his voice seemed to fade off and that's when she realized he had left them.
Gewls rolled her eyes. "You better be careful Effie-" she started but was cut off.
"Good evening students." The HeadMaster got up to the microphone, he seemed like such a short man from far away but up close he towers. "I hope your first day of school was interesting enough. We have a couple announcement to start off with. One, we are getting closer to solving our mystery of who escaped last night and two we have a mission for a couple classmates."

Effie saw Kieera's smile, knowing she approved, but Bex's frown made her stop. "She's my friend, Eff," Bex muttered. When the Headmaster started talking, Effie lowered her voice to a whisper. "What kind of friend sleeps with the guy you're in to?"
Bex groaned, not ready to get into the "I'm not into him" argument again, so she tossed the file back to Effie before Franky could grab it again. Effie's glare told her to keep still and shut up, and Franky huffed as she turned to look at the headmaster while he spoke.

Zan glared at Ace. "I don't care if you think you aren't. You are. Stay away from her." He wanted to get the point across but the kid wasnt gettin it.
Link rolled his eyes. "Why don't you calm yourself down Zander. Maybe you should have had sex with Franky to keep your nerves calm." He wasnt going to let Zander be an asshole. He refused to watch him beat up Ace. It was wrong.
"Shh…" Gewls eyes grew wide. Eight students were chosen. She wondered who the people are. It was rare to be one that got chosen because… well, the students had to be on the very top of the list. They had to be the best.

Effie's jaw hung open as she stared at Bex, her mind running a million miles an hour until she said, "What do you think it is?"
"I don't know," Bex said, an excited smile on her face as she looked to Gewls and Kieera. "But whatever it is, it's big. Maybe a real mission." For once, they would be together, putting everything they'd been learning over the course of three or four years to use.
Franky sat with a frown, staring at the table. She'd known about the mission they were all being sent on; her goal had been to be included in it. Either way, she was still going. Either by hiding in their luggage or something, or making sure someone else couldn't attend.
Ace swallowed to hold back a laugh at what Link said, his eyes darting towards the headmistress briefly when he heard his name. Cool, some super secret mission, whatever. Right now, he was trying to figure out why Zan was at his throat about his sister.
Jack frowned at the use of his full name; Maximilian didn't quite fit him. He looked up towards the girls, eyeing the group with curiosity as he wondered what they were thinking about this whole thing, until he realized Ace and Zander were practically ready to start a full on fight int he dining hall.

"Kieera?" Gewls noticed the girl, she was as white as a ghost. "Kier… I think she's going to throw up." She put a hand on her back, trying to rub and soothe. "It's going to be okay. We are going to be there." She promised but for some reason the girl was still struggling.
Kieera felt everything in her stomach come up and it wasnt much. She shoved herself to her feet and ran out of the dining ball. She wasnt ready for that!
Zander too, jumped to his feet. "I'll kick your butt." He wasnt about to let ace find out anything about them. He would fight like crazy.
Link pulled him down by his arm. "Did you not hear? We are going on a mission. Sit down, and relax. He won't touch your sister." Of course, they missed Kieera gettin up and leaving.

"What happened?" Bex asked, looking around at everyone as if she hadn't bee n there at all. "Do you think she's okay?"
Effie gave a shrug, shifting through the papers of Franky's file. "Probably nervous. Something tells me she's not a big fan of this whole 'spy school' thing," she admitted, pulling her hands away from Franky as she made a move to get her file back.
Ace stood up as soon as Zander did, ready to defend himself the minute he made a move, but while Link was busy trying to calm Zan and Zan was focused on tearing Ace apart, he managed to watch Kieera run out of the dining hall, and out of concern for her more than defiance for her suddenly over-protective brother, he immediately started after Kieera, calling her name when he got into the foyer.

Gewls didn't move. She just sort of stared at the now vacant spot. "I hope she's okay." She said with concen. She should have gotten up and went after her but she couldn't bring herself to move at all. "I… we ge to go on a mission." She was still in awe.
Meanwhile, link was still trying to calm Zan down. The dude flipped so quickly it was hard to tell what would happen. I mean, there would be a fight, fists thrown at each other but there was no reason for that. They needed to be friendly with each other.

Effie got too nervous just sitting, wondering if Kieera was okay. She felt too connected to her; she couldn't explain it, but she knew that they were similar. She just didn't know how. She got up slowly, handing the file she'd been holding onto to Gewls. "Hold onto that for me, yeah?" Effie turned and headed out of the dining hall, following the sound of Ace's shouts until she reached the bathroom. "Lemme talk to her," she insisted, and he moved to let her slip inside. She walked in slowly, holding her body against the door to make sure no one else would come in. "Kieera," she called softly, seeing the girl's feet in one of the stalls.
Bex nodded slowly. "We get to go on a mission." She couldn't help but smile; she hadn't done anything this exciting since India, and now she was actually going to be allowed to go, not just sneaking stuff past her parents. "What do you think we'll get to do?" she asked Gewls.
Jack pursed his lips together as he sat beside Link, watching him try to calm Zan down. He was worried, of course. They all had to get along; they were all specifically picked to go on a mission for the school, and if any of them were fighting, it wasn't going to end well, which was probably why Franky hadn't been included.

Gewls kept the file secure though she could see Franky plotting against her. "No need to worry Franky. If your file had anything we didn't already know in it then there would be a problem." She said with this all knowing tone. Bex was a totally being used and she didn't see it. Gewls didn't stand for this stuff. Her mother had been like Franky. And she despised her mother. Even though her mother hadnt really started like a spy, she was a whore. Which was a lot to say since it was her mother.
Zander slapped away link's hand. "Don't talk to me. I'll hurt him if he does t listen. She's no going to he used." What the hell was wrong with him? He jus didn't want others to talk to her and now he was acting like a crazy guy. He rolled his eyes at himself. "Anyways, eat your food. Nothing happened."
Link raised his eyebrow but shook his head. "You're a real jerk." He said with a sigh. "I'm leaving."

Ace finally fell against the wall beside the bathroom door, sitting down with his arms on his knees. He couldn't hear what Effie was saying - spy training and all that - and quite honestly, he didn't want to know. He just wanted to wait it out, see if she was okay.
Bex let out a long sigh, tapping her fingers on the table. She wasn't hungry anymore; she just wanted dinner to be over so she could go find out what the hell this mission was. She couldn't stop fidgeting; she was so excited to finally be doing something exciting other than stealing from teachers.
Jack shook his head at Zander, standing at the same time as Link. "I'm coming with you." He didn't want to get in the middle of anything; fights weren't really his thing, which was ironic for a kid who went to a school where combat was a required course, but still. He didn't like conflicts that he didn't have to be apart of.

Gewls stood. "I'm going o the room. If you see Effie, tell her I have the stuff." She started out of the cafeteria. She needed to mentally prepare herself just like everyone else. It was going to be intense. And jack… he'd be the. Maybe she should talk to him? She noticed he was leaving too so she has it a shot and went over to him and Link. "Hey." She gave them both a smile.
Which caused Link to raise his eyebrow. "Hello?" He asked, glancing between the two. Something was happening.
Ander rolled his eyes, completely caving into himself. He was bitter about everything and definitely needed to release that. Franky would love to help.

Jack gave her a smooth smile. "Hey you," he said casually, his hand in his pockets. He looked up at Link and laughed. "Go find Effie, Lady's Man, and stop making stuff awkward for us," he joked, punching his friend lightly in the shoulder before looking back at Gewls. He shouldn't have avoided her, and now he felt like shit for being that rude.

Link decided to leave the two and to on his little man hunt for Effie. He walked out of the corridor and into the large hallway, trying to determine which way they had gone until he found Ace waiting outside the bathroom. "So… how long have they been in there?"
Zander went up to Franky and Bex. "Let's get out of here?" He motioned Franky taking a good look at Bex. He felt like the biggest jerk in the world when he saw the look of disappointment on her face. But it wasnt like she was planning on going for him. She thought he was this jerk and she was rich. He was proving it with every step he took.
Gewls looked at her feet, waiting to speak after link left. "I'm sorry." She mumbled. Her face red. She couldn't believe she was apologizing now. It wasnt like he didn't want to kiss her or anything. Well she didn't know what was really going on.
(Thanks for putting up with me and my short posts. I'm sorry they suck! You're the bestest! :) )

Effie moved when she heard her get up, kicking herself off the wall. "Anytime," she said with a smile, wrapping her arm around Kieera's shoulders after she crushed the tip of her cigarette in the sink and tossed the butt in the trash. "Now let's go find out what it is we're actually doing."
Ace shrugged. "Couple minutes," he said, standing quickly when he heard the nob turning and watched as Effie emerged with Kieera under her arm. "Do I dare ask?" He raised a brow, frowning at the familiar scent of cigarette smoke.
Effie shrugged, taking her arm off Kieera and giving both boys a half smile. "You can ask. You won't get an answer," she guaranteed.
Franky smiled up at Zander when he appeared by her side, glancing first at Bex who ducked her head, suddenly very interested in her dinner. "Let's go," she said, reaching out to grab his hand as she stood up with him.
Jack shrugged, leaning against the wall beside her. "What are you apologizing for?" he asked with a smile. "It's my fault. Sorry I was being an ass earlier, avoiding you an all," he said quietly, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. He didn't want her to blame herself.

Kieera gave her an awkward hug right before they left the bathrooms. She was glad to have been chased down. Well, not really but she was talking herself into being happy about it. "Do any of you have a mint?" She asked, her breath smelled of throw up. Which had been covered by Effie's need to smoke but that would only hold off the stomach acid smell for so long. She needed to brush her teeth but until then she just wanted a mint. To smell good in front of the guys.
Link gave Effie a smile, he thought she was strange but she was cute too. She was definitely concerned about Kieera and that was precious not that he would say anything to her about it. "So, want me to look at your injuries?" He asked, that migh have been awkward.
Zander's eyes remained on Bex even as he walked away. Franky was playing the player. She must have known that she was doing this and he was letting her use him like a puppet. He wanted to talk to the other blonde but she wouldn't give him the type of day. Did he deserve it?
Gewls took a step closer. "I know it's awkward, but there is definitely a connection, Maximilian." Lennox gave him this smile, that said she knew he wouldn't mind kissing her. "Normally girls just teasingly say stuff like that. But I really would with all the brains you have." She finally stepped away. Letting his body warmth fade.

Ace nodded quickly, pulling a pack of gum out of his pocket. "It's not a mint, but..." He shrugged, giving Kieera a light smile as he handed her the pack. He chewed nervously on his bottom lip, forcing a smile as he said, "You won't believe it. Your brother threatened to fight me during dinner," he told her, just trying to get a smile out of her.
Effie glanced at Kieera before nodding at Link, deciding she'd be safe with Ace. "Honestly," she said to him as she turned to walk down the hall. "How cool does my black eye look now with a couple of scratch marks to top it off?" she asked with a laugh, pointing to her messed up face.
Franky practically jogged out of the dining hall, dashing up the stairs towards his dorm. Maybe she couldn't wait till breakfast, but Zander did have to be in Madame's room soon for that stupid mission meeting. Something felt off, though, as if she could sense half his mind was on something else.
Jack smiled from ear to ear, a slight blush in his cheeks. "You think so, Princess?" he said. At first he thought using her first name, Lennox, might have been a good comeback, but then he remembered she hated her first name because of her mother, so he decided on her newly acquired nickname he gave her. "I don't think it's awkward." He shrugged, his hands still in his pocket as he leaned against the wall.

Kieera shook her head as she pulled a piece of gum out of the package. "If he lays a hand on you I'm going to tell the world about him." She mumbled to herself. But they could hear. Maybe it was time others did know not was a problem and he was irritating her with trying to hurt people who were friends with her. He was so messed up.
Link stopped her, putting his hands on her cheeks. He got a close look and sighed. "The scratches on your face are infected." He said with disappointment. But he was going to help. "You can't stop me from fixing I up. Franky is awful by the way." He pointed out. "I know you know this already."
Zander shook the thoughts away, stopping where they were, henlushednher up against the wall, his lips automatically searching for hers. He didn't hesitate to start kissing her, biting on her lower lip. If he had to, he would find the strength to carry her upstairs. Anything to take his mind off of anything he could feel for Bex.
"It could be." Gewls, tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Unless, you want too?" She decided she would give him the option instead of fighting him on it being awkward. It wasnt, or it wouldn't be but she was awkward so she forever the situation there

Ace grinned at her response before shrugging. "Don't think I can take care of myself?" he teased and winked at her, bumping her shoulder with his. "Besides, I don't want to fight your brother. I'd leave that to Effie." He chuckled lightly, shaking his head. That girl could probably fight better than he could, or anyone for that matter.
Effie glanced down at his hands when he grabbed her face, biting back a smile as she thought of the millions of ways she could break his hands but decided not to. His touch was warm and his eyes were gentle; she didn't mind him helping fix her up for now. "Yeah, I kinda found that out," she murmured with a snicker. "I stole her file when Headmistress caught me in her office with a bottle of gin," she blurted out.
Franky giggled lightly at his sudden change in mood; whatever had come over him, she liked it. She pressed her body firmly against his, lacing her fingers in his hair she kissed him back, not ready to break it off quite yet.
Jack just smiled, not even bothering to give her an answer before he leaned down to cup her face in his hands and plant a light kiss on her lips, something he couldn't stop thinking about doing since she suggested it. He pulled away slowly, looking at her expression for some kind of tell that he made the wrong move too quickly.

"Effie could kill him in a heartbeat." Kieera said with a serious look. It was nice to see him being playful about the situation but it was still bothersome. Why could her brother leave her alone? And people would cared about her too? It was ridiculous. "Is everything okay?" She asked finally wanting to see if he was alright.
"What?!" Link dropped his hands to his sides. Was she crazy? Did she really just say she was caught with gin. The gin that they tried to get to but she had gotten. "What happened? Are you alright? I mean is everything okay?" He didn't know what to say. She could have gotten in so much trouble. He wondered if she did.
Zander kept her up against the wall, runnin his hands all over her. As though he couldn't be enough. She was going to be a good distraction. His mout ran over her flesh, along her jawline and down her throat to her collarbone. He needed toget all of this tesion out.
Gewls closed her eyes the moment she felt his mouth on hers. It was so surprising she wasnt sure what to do, but she ended up kissing him back and when he stopped… she looked up at him, biting her lower lip to keep from touching it. "Well, thanks for your answer."

Effie shrugged. It was really no big deal to her; it wasn't like she hasn't gotten in trouble before. It was kind of expected for her, really. "Nothing happened, really. She told me if she caught me breaking one more rule, I'd get expelled. Which is what she said last time she caught me sneaking out." She shrugged again. "She's afraid to expel me, honestly. Plus she doesn't know I stole Franky's file, so don't tell anyone about that."
Franky giggled lightly again, closing her eyes as all her attention went to his hands and mouth all over her body. "I've been craving this all day," she whispered as she breathed out. She didn't want it to end.
Jack snickered and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "C'mon, let's go find everyone else. We've got to go figure out what this mission is about." It was like someone had pulled all the stress off his shoulders; he wasn't worrying about what she had said and what she had meant. Since he felt her return the kiss, he figured she was okay with it.

"I won't tell anyone." Link made it look like there was a zipper on his lips. He ran his fingers over before locking and tossing away the key. Secrets were safe with him. "The only person I'd tell was Chef. But I'm not going too." Be joked around. The day and the life was a spy was a struggle.
Zander's reply came from this deep throated groan. He too had been waiting and his patience was wearing thin. He couldn't even contain himself as he lifted her off her feet and began to carry her to his room. While the guys were down for dinner and all that stuff, he would go as quickly as he could.
Gewls leaned into his body. Something about it made her feel like she fit perfectly. She didn't really feel like she could say anything though babe felt so nervous about being near him. More so than before she kissed him, well he kissed her. But she found herself replying minutes later with a thoughtful question. "Are you scared?"

Effie raised a brow at him as she started towards the stairs, figuring they should all head up to the office. "You're friends with Chef? Why didn't you just ask him to give you the gin when you needed it?" she asked curiously. That would have been her plan, or at least her first one. Hiding out in a fridge for twenty minutes wasn't ideal.
Jack let out a light sigh, tucking his other hand in his pocket, pondering his answer for a second before he decided on something. "I wouldn't say scared," he said slowly. "Mostly anxious." He looked down at her as he began climbing the stairs. "What about you?"
(Sorry this post is shit, I'm managing three things at once right now but I wanted to get this in really quick! Should we just skip for Franky and Zander? We could just have him running in late at the meeting you'd like)

It was much a surprise for Ace after Kieera told him… everything. Well, not everything but most things. She explained he situation to him and he seemed to understand where she was coming from. Which was so nice she could hardly even believe it. There was someone besides Effie to take her side and despite that being around Ace made her feel nervous. He made her feel safe. She when the meeting time came along, she carefully as down next to ace. Everyone was all together, everyone but Zander.
Link was on the other side of Ace, Effie at his side. He had somehow managed to get the girl somewhat bandaged up. She needed to staubawayfrom Franky. Bad things happened when those two girls were together and frankly, it made people very worried about their health. They had also talked for a while, and he couldn't help but wonder why he was getting so close to this amazing, yet troubled girl.
Gewls finally allowed herself to detach from Jake. She couldn't believe the way her heart was beating. She wished that she could have taken back her nasty first kiss with Phillip Danes about two years ago. There was nothing sweet and romantic about the way that boy tried to shove his tongue down her throat.
Zander fixed his shirt as he headed in. Everythig about him screamed 'I just had amazing sex' but he wasnt going to let anyone read into it too much. Franky was one hell of a kink and how happy had he been that he waited for that fun to begin. "Sorry I'm late." He plopped down next to Bex fixing his sex hair.

Effie's head rested back against the sofa she sat in, between Bex and Link, staring at the patterns in the plaster on the ceiling. She probably would have been falling asleep had her etiquette teacher not been present. Link had helped her clean up the good scratch marks Franky put in her face, yet the black eye was still prominent through gobs of cover up, and her knuckles still stung every time she flexed them. She waited and waited in the awkwardly silent room for Zander to show up, her mind wondering why a guy like Link was willing to stick around with her. Zander barged in, finally, and Effie was the loudest to sneer and grumble, "Thank you for gracing us with your presence."
Jack bit back a chuckle at Effie's comment, knowing exactly what Zander had been doing prior. He wasn't very good at fixing himself up afterwards. He glanced at the headmistress, who looked furious enough to kick Zan out of the school right then and there, but said nothing.
Bex scooted over slightly, leaning closer into Effie when Zander finally walked in. Hell, they all knew where he'd been, and quite frankly, Bex didn't want to hear about it or see the results. Whatever was going on between him and her friend, she wanted to stay out of it, and stay away from the hot boy who'd decided to sit beside her.
Headmistress pushed herself out from Madame Delaney's desk chair, putting herself in the center of the eight students. "Now that we're all here, it's time to brief you for your mission. Headmaster?" she said, gesturing for him to begin the student's first real briefing.

Link seemed to straighten up more. The last missions… being a spy was tought. People had died for him to make it out. Not that he was allowed to say anything. They were being briefed on it and he knew that these guys were amazing. They wouldn't have been chosen else wise. He folded his arms across his chest.

Headmistress smiled and stepped forward, putting her hands behind her back. "Everything you need to know about your current objectives are in those files," she said, gesturing to the packets of papers each student held. "But, just so you all know, we will be driving you down to Denver, where you'll be staying at the Brown Palace for a masquerade ball where all your subjects will be. You will be there for three days, and you will be required to come back with all your objectives accomplished, as well as debriefing paperwork complete. Any questions?" She glanced around the room, and immediately Bex's hand shot into the air.
"What about dresses?" she asked quickly, and Effie rolled her eyes. Out of everything she'd just said, that was her question. "When will be able to get gowns and tuxedos and everything?"
Headmistress chuckled. "We'll leave early, so you'll have all day to find what you need and get ready."

Kieera reached over and grabbed Ace's hand. She never felt more sick i her stomach. But she kept her insides down. "How long will this take?"
Headmaster gave her this look. "It should take only a few days. Missions aren't something you want to waste a ton of time on. It's not to another." He said, his eyes overlooking each student. They were very well trained and ready to preform. That was everyone but Zander.

"Any other questions?" Headmistress asked, and at the sound of everyone's silence, she gave one nod. "We're leaving Friday morning before sunrise, so I expect you all to have your bags packed and be ready to go, in the foyer, by no later than four." She tossed a look to Zander before looking at the rest of them. "Remember: you were all chosen because we know you are more than capable of doing this. However, this isn't a simple school treasure hunt. This is what we've been training you to do." She smiled and winked at them. "No pressure. You're free to go."
Bex was the first to stand up, grabbing Effie's hand as she pulled her out into the hallway. "A masquerade ball! Can you believe this?" she squealed once she was out of the stuffy room.
Effie just groaned and shook her head. Dances and long dresses and classical music weren't her thing; she'd much rather have it be at a club where she could wear fishnet stockings and skin tight dress and lose her hearing to some loud and repetitive music.

Gewls got up as well. She was so excited to be a spy. A real one. She just had to wait toget back to the room so that she could get packed. "Are you so excited?"
Zander chewed on his lip, waiting for a moment to gather thoughts together. He was still thinking about Franky. This while mission thing wasnt as on his mind as the moment Franky finally pulled him in all the way. She was the puppeteer and he the brand new puppet. Not that he knew it.

Effie groaned loudly, starting the trek towards their dorm. "God, I hope not," she grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest. Her and Bex were almost completely opposite people; while she was freaking out about going to some sort of dance - something their own school never had - Effie was concerned about the mission part. Maybe she'd find a way to not wear a dress and spend the entire time in the air ducts.
Ace walked out with Jack, each of them putting their hands in their pants' pockets. They felt almost embarrassed, just knowing the girls were probably going to want dates, and even as senior high schools, the thought was daunting. Still, the excitement was there; they were leaving the school for the weekend for an actual mission, an actual test of their skills, and that wouldn't diminish.
Jack stopped beside Gewls, nudging her with his shoulder and smiling silently down at her before looking around, wondering what conversation he'd just walked into.
"Child, are you okay?" She asked, the curiousity in her voice almost freaking Gewls out.
But she managed a reply, calm and true. "I am really okay, I just needed to make sure that I was doing that assignment right." She said simply, even though today was the official day of school, she needed to make sure she was doing her first assignment right.
Link popped his head in. "Let's go? Mr. Cruz is heading down this way and something tells me the vents are going to be our friend." He said as he moved get to grab the cover. This was their best bet at getting to the basement in the next five minutes. The clock was ticking and this as freaking him out.
Kieera quickly walked out. Why on earth was she sacrificing herself for them? She worked her ass off just to get caught by headmistress? What were the odds. She seriously felt like going back and begging for her forgiveness but that wasnt what spies did.
(So I'm thinking that all of them get sent on a mission out in the real world and there can be a masquerade ball and fun stuff ?)
