Jack snickered quietly, his face tucked into her hair as he whispered back, "I don't know, and I kind of don't care." Of course he cared about their friends, and their opinion, but they all had their own love lives and he didn't take it personally that they were getting consistent crap, but like he said, he didn't mind it. The only other person who's opinion about their love life mattered was Gewls.
Ace rubbed the back of his neck as he looked over at Zander, for some odd reason feeling like he was about to get lectured. "Um, ex-girlfriend," he admitted hesitantly, quick to add an explanation. "I didn't want to explain the whole current-girlfriend/ex-girlfriend thing and make everything super awkward... I'm gonna tell her about it tomorrow." Things were like night and day with him and Zander compared to the first day they met, but it could easily get worse if he screwed this situation up.

Okay, so we went to elementary-middle school (like kindergarten through 8th grade) together, but he was in the grade ahead of mine. We never really talked, but we knew of each other, so we weren't total strangers when we "met" met. Anyway, my neighbor is one of my really good friends, and he was also in the grade ahead of mine, and friends with Ethan since we all went to the same school. They went on to high school or whatever and since we never actually talked I never kept tabs on the kid. I mean, quite honestly, we both went through that, awkwardly-ugly middle school stage at the same time, so there was no like "I'm gonna stalk the hot guy from 8th grade" thing going on. So then, the summer after my freshman year of high school, I was locked away in my house all day because I'm a terribly social awkward human being and my neighbors had made all these new friends and I suck at making new friends so I just sat on this website all summer long. But I have a rather terrifying obsession with tanning and sunshine which isn't that good of a thing when you're a pasty Irish girl so whenever these groups of high school boys weren't playing basketball in the street outside of my house, I was laying out in my yard or sitting on my porch.
Well, one day I was sitting on my porch, and Ethan and my neighbor and a bunch of other kids just showed up and sat on the porch of my other neighbor, Spencer's (I'm giving them names in the hopes you can keep up, because this story always confuses me and I'm the one telling it) house, but Spencer wasn't home. And I knew they knew I was there, because I live in a very small neighborhood so you can like hear when people are talking at normal speaking voice, and they would get really quiet for awhile and then just start laughing. You know, that thing high school boys do. Anyway, apparently they weren't getting enough of my attention, because they just up and grabbed Spencer's lawn chairs and put them in the middle of the street and sat around the manhole like some satanic ritual. At that point I was like, "Suck it up" so I went over and asked them why they were stealing my neighbor's chairs and then one thing led to another (mostly him buying me a lot of McDonalds) and now we've been dating for a very long time :) hooray)

Zander gave him this look… which is one of which he understood the situation. Unfortunately for him, he had been in that kind of problem for quiet some time now. "This is the responsible part of me speaking when I say, you shouldn't tell Kieera. If you do, it will make her feel insecure and stuff. She would probably even dump you if anything ever happens with that other girl… but the brother side of me says that you should give it a go and see what she says. Good luck man, I hate when stuff like that happens." He knew all too well what it was like when an ex just showed up. Only this time, he didn't feel like that with Franky and Bex. He wanted his current girlfriend the entire time.

(It's short mainly because I didn't know how to start them up… so there is link)

"Effie, right?" Monroe asked, raising a brow as she glanced at what the girl was writing. She looked about as bad as she had, maybe even worse. She didn't have those same burn scars. Maybe they changed things up. "What are you working on?"
"Writing," Effie snarled back, forcing her mind not to get distracted, and it seemed that the New Yorker got the hint; she shut her mouth and started taking bites of her eggs, already going about planning her first day at her new school.
Franky had gotten up early to make sure she was in and out of the bathroom before anyone else had woken up, just as she did every morning. She took close to an hour making sure every curl in her hair was perfect and every eyelash was completely covered in mascara. She took her appearance very seriously. However, as she walked out towards the door to the dorm, she was surprised to see Bex already up, her hair in a bun and her skirt sitting unevenly on her hips. "You're up early," Franky commented.
"I heard you puking," Bex retorted quietly as to make sure not to wake Jack, Gewls or Kieera. "How's that morning sickness?" She felt like utter shit. Whatever were in those pills, it made her hangover a million times worse, and all she wanted to do was sleep, but she'd missed so much school already...
