"Bex, seriously, shut the hell up," Franky said, her voice quiet yet stern. She was done getting lectured. "This isn't all about you, okay? I'm pregnant. There is a little human growing inside of me and I don't have anyone willing to help me." She finished it off by throwing a glare to Zander, and Bex immediately started feeling guilty.
"Ever heard of birth control?" Effie shot back in Bex's defense, mainly because she knew Bex was already giving up.
"Stay out of this, Eff," Bex grumbled as she put her head in her hands, trying to think.
Ace still stuck his tongue out at the Demitri like a dull little kid, and Jack smacked him on the shoulder to get him to behave. Gewls was right; they had bigger things to worry about than that snarky Russian guy. "Do you think he'll believe us?" Ace asked Gewls as they started walking. "That Effie's actually here, I mean." They needed to finally get the kid out of bed; he hoped that he would just believe them and come running downstairs.

"I know Bex. This, it's… I'm not exactly fond of it either." Zander didn't want a kid. Especially if it was with Franky of all people in the world. He didn't think he could handle being a dad. "She can just get an abortion or something." He said as if it was a logical answer for it.
"Ummm! I think not." Kieera didn't at all like the idea of them killing off the baby. It wasn't the fetus's fault that it was conceived in the first place.
Gewls didn't know what was going to happen or what link was going to say. But it was definitely worth a shot. She gave the guys both a smile. "I hope he believes us." She mumbled, rubbing her head for a moment while she tried to piece things together in her head.

"Please kill me if I ever say this again, but I agree with your sister," Franky said to Zander with a frown. "I don't know if I'm really ready to kill our child."
Bex snapped then and she started walking slowly towards Franky like a cat stalking its prey. "Don't you dare use that poor child as an excuse for you two to be together," she growled, but Franky stood her ground with her arms crossed. She was scared of Effie, everyone was, but Bex wouldn't intentionally hurt a soul unless her life depended on it.
"Like I want to get back together with the asshole who made me cry in front of all of you!" Franky shouted, though deep down of course she wanted to be with him. How else could she explain her jealousy?
Effie was clenching her fists as if she were the one getting ready to fight Franky, and since she knew Bex wouldn't hurt her, she figured maybe she could get a good hit in. She needed something to take her anger out on.
Jack gave a shrug, throwing his arm around her shoulders while they walked towards the foyer. "I think at the very mention of her name, he'll be out of bed in a heartbeat," he admitted. Link was a wreck without Effie.
"I wonder how many fish are living in that pond," Ace wondered aloud, his mind wandering completely off topic. "I don't wanna kill a bunch of 'em."
Jack shot him a confused glance before shaking his head. Ace was unpredictable; he'd gotten used to it.

"I can promise you, even if she is carrying my child I am not ever going back to her. She isn't… I don't love her." Zander said seriously. Speaking of love. He wasn't entire sure he loved Bex but he was pretty sure that he was falling in love with her. She was his best friend. He had gotten close enough to let her in. He wouldn't leave her for anything.
Kieera put her hand on Effie's shoulder. "If you hurt her, you could potentially hurt the child. The best way to get to her is be better than her. And you aren't knocked up. Plus, you're back."
Gewls leaned into Jack, up until they reached the door. And then she knocked. Though the boys were both there. She wondered if he would open it on his own or not.
Link remained where he was sleeping. Not moving one bit.

"Wow, could you be any more of an asshole about it?" Franky grumbled, but Bex pretended as if she didn't hear her. Or didn't exist, for that matter.
Bex took a big, deep breath, in through her nose and out through her mouth before she opened her eyes and looked between Zander and Franky. "Alright. Okay. Let's just... take this one step at a time. Franky, before any one of us get involved, you need to figure out what it is you're doing with the baby. And as much as everyone seems to hate you," she murmured, seriously pondering her own relationship with the girl she used to be best friends with, "We'll do what we can to help you."
"Excuse me-" Effie began to shout, but Bex was cutting her off.
"As long as you get your act together. We're sick of being doormats, and this queen bitch routine is rather overdone, yeah?" She raised a brow, and Franky knew Bex couldn't speak for the whole group, especially not Effie, or even Kieera. None of them particularly liked her, and she knew that.
Effie couldn't help herself; she laughed blatantly and shook her head, heading towards the stairs past them. "Fuck this. I need to go take some meds or something."
"Oh, Lincoln!" Ace shouted through the door in a sing-song voice before he helped himself inside. He found Link still in bed, in the same position they'd left him in at least a half hour ago. "We have a surprise for you," he said enthusiastically, and Jack stayed quiet. If Ace wanted to surprise him, he was on board too. "And it'll be worth getting out of bed for. You don't even have to get dressed. Just come downstairs, six seconds, and you can leave if you're not satisfied."

Zander felt his heart racing in his chest, it seemed like it was about to pop out and he couldn't exactly concentrate on what anybody was talking about. It just seemed to be like ice cold water dumping on him. "I… yeah, Franky, this is you who decides what you want to do with the baby." Even though it took two to conceive, it was up to her. If she kept the baby he would be an amazing dad. Sure he would never look at Franky again the same, but he would love the child unconditionally and if she amgave it up, then he could support it too. She was the mother after all.
Kieera stared at Effie's back before glancing over at Bex. This was sooo much drama it actually made her head hurt. She didn't know what to say or how to feel. At this very moment, she was an aunt. She looked over at her brother and sighed. "This is a lot of information, I feel, in the last two seconds that anything has happened." She finally said. Her voice much more quieter than usual. She honestly wouldn't have mind if they didn't hear what was happening.
Link rolled over to stare at the guys blankly. "I said I didn't want blueberry pancakes. I damn well mean it." E replied sourly, the guys were so fucking irritating now a days and he could hardly even function. It made him so mad that they just didn't understand. "Effie is still gone too."
Gewls gave link a big bright smile, sweeping open the curtains to shine some light on the-now pale-boy. "What if she was here? Back? And she missed you."

Bex let out another long sigh as she put her head in her hands. Right now, she felt like crying, but she knew that wasn't a good idea. So instead, she went with her second option and looked up at Zander. "Can I steal you from the group for a minute?" Of course they were going to talk; after news like this, they had to. She looked back at Kieera first, saying, "Do me a favor, yeah? Make sure you keep Effie in your sights at all times. You don't know what she was like when she lost her parents, and I don't know what she'll be like after this, but if it's anything like last time, she'll need a body guard twenty-four-seven."
Jack practically jumped out of his own skin when he hear Effie speak from behind him, her voice sounding the same, yet the fact she was even smaller than before made her quieter than a mouse. "I never admitted to missing you," she corrected Gewls quickly as she pushed herself past Jack and Ace to stand at the foot of Link's bed. She was quite honestly dreading this encounter, as well as the one with Demitri. She knew how Link felt about her, and she honestly felt guilty, and she had a good idea about Demitri's sudden attachment, so that encounter was awkward. But she'd missed him. She'd missed all of them. "At least, not out loud."

"I don't know… last time I agreed to talk privately I found out I knocked up a girl." Zander shouldn't have said it. But the opportunity was golden and her that didn't make things feel better. He moved after Bex and took her hand in his own. "Let's talk."
Kieera went after Effie moments later. Only because she could see this look in. Bex's eyes that said she wasn't kidding when it came down to Effie business the lady was very temperamental.
Gewls turned slightly, but the moment I. The corner of her eye made her look back at Link as she saw him fling the covers from over himself, sitting upright in the bed.
"Is it really you?" Link couldn't help but ask, only his voice was much more lifeless than it had been before. He hated this feeling of dread and he hated that he couldn't just be normal about this situation.

Bex couldn't help but laugh at his horribly timed joke, but she thought it was hilarious. Judging by the look in Franky's eyes, she didn't agree. She held on tightly to Zander's hand while she walked, slowly, down the hallway. They had a few minutes to kill before class, and given the current situation with a student returning from the dead, she figured they were allowed some leeway. "So Franky's pregnant," Bex started awkwardly, trying to figure out how to phrase what was going through her head. She let out another burst of laughter before shaking her head. "I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you. I just... I don't know how to put my thoughts into words right now."
Effie nodded her head back and forth, weighing out the options in her head. "Well, apart from the endless hours of torture and mutilation I endured over the past two months that I apparently can't bloody remember for the life of me, and the collection of new ugly scars and bruises, as well as this really painful lump on the back of my skull that may or may not be a serious concussion," she rambled endlessly before finishing with a nod. "Yeah. I'm still Effie, Lincoln."

Zander cleared his throat nervously. What was she going to say to him? She going to dump him? He didn't know what he was even going to do. He thought back there that she would leave him even if he did get someone pregnant. But then again, he probably would have left a girl had her ex boyfriend knocked her up. "Just say it how you're thinking it." He nudged. His palms definitely sweaty with nervousness.
Lincoln raised his eyebrow. Yup, it was definitely Effie's dry, sarcastic answer. "Good. I thought they were struggling so much they had Kieera out on an outfit to make herself look like you." He said as a snarky reply, but it didn't seem to come out as forceful as it was meant to be. Because he simply missed her. It was unbareable without having her attitude. "I'm glad you're back."

"I'm just..." Bex started, keeping her eyes locked on the carpet beneath her feet. "I'm surprised, I guess. I never expected anything like this to happen. I thought we could leave Franky in the past, and I know this isn't your fault; neither one of you are to blame. Mistakes were made, but this... this just gives her a reason to be back." She shook her head as she stopped to look up at him. "I don't want this to ruin what we have, Zan," she told him honestly. "I like you. A lot. Like you, like you." She giggled at her own choice of phrasing, like she was a little school girl. "I want to take this one step at a time and I want Franky to make the right decision and I want everyone to be happy but most importantly I want us to be happy." She stopped then, giving him a chance to respond.
Effie raised a brow as she crossed her arms and shot Jack and Ace a look, as if they were to blame. "Did they do that before?" she asked quizzically, and Ace groaned.
"We were getting desperate, Eff. We had to get him out of bed one way or another. I mean, he was starting to stink," he said, and Jack slapped his arm.
"Don't worry. No one would dare try to impersonate you. We like our limbs intact and attached," Jack reassured her, and Effie sneered.

Zander could understand completely where she was coming from. "For me she still is a part of the past. Okay? I can't care for her the way I care for you. It's going to be hard to have to do things for her but the only reason I ever can is because you're here." He was tolerating Franky from now on. She was just so clingy it felt like he was suffocating.
Kieera rolled her eyes. "Sometimes the boys are stupid." She said. Every time she walked in on stuff like this. Because it was really just her luck. She looked over at Gewls and smiled at her. How could she be with all the guys right now? It was absolutely insane.
"Not all of them are stupid." link said defensively. He couldn't believe he was being insulted and it hadn't even been five minutes.

Bex nodded, mentally digesting everything that came out of his mouth. She didn't want to forget any of it, or twisting his words around and ending up blaming him for something he never promised. "Okay. Then we agree, yeah? We help Franky in whatever decision she makes because she's a fellow student and it's your kid, but that's it. We keep us to us and her to her. Agreed?" She felt like she was making some big important business deal. It was all too serious for her.
Effie rolled her eyes at Link. "Yeah, sure," she muttered sarcastically before she started towards the door. "Now are you going to get out of bed or what?" she said, stopping to hold on to the doorway.
Jack spun around and looked at her after glancing at his watch. "Where are you going? Classes don't start for another thirty minutes."
Her bright hazel eyes shot over to Jack as she frowned. "I know. I have some stupid "psychiatric evaluation" that I have to do to see if I can recover any memories." She wanted to remember, but part of her thought it was a better idea to keep them all repressed. The mind was a complex thing; if it couldn't handle the intensity of the memories, maybe it was good that they were gone. But there was important information stored up in her brain in those memories, and she knew the agency wouldn't give up until they had what she knew.

Kieera chewed on her lip, glancing over at Link. It seemed like this would be a ton of drama. "Do you want someone to go with you?" She asked Effie, sort of following after her like a lost puppy dog. She just kept remembering what Bex had told her and that made her want to get down to the bottom of everything.
Link raised his eyebrow. "You just got back and you're leaving again?"

Effie frowned as she looked at Kieera. "Bex told you to babysit me, didn't she?" She groaned before Kieera gave her an answer and looked back at Link. "I'm not going anywhere. Just to see one of those new teachers you hired while I was locked up in a dungeon." She rolled her eyes, wishing she knew if that was the case or not. "And if I don't see your ass in class, Lincoln, I'm going to throw you out the window. Then you'll really have something to mourn," she said with a sneer before heading out of the door.
Just as she disappeared, Ace leaned down to Jack and whispered, "Think she's serious?"
Jack pursed his lips and nodded. "I wouldn't doubt her."
(So I was thinking Raegan could work one-on-one with Effie as she tries to recover her memories and tunes her skills to prevent it from happening again, you know? And since she's on the inside she'll be able to help her a lot)

"It's okay… I deserve a slap in the face or something. ." That wasn't what the whole situation was about anyhow, she wasn't suppose to feel bad for him. He was the idiot. And Franky… "I can't even begin to tell you how awful that's going to be. I don't… know what I saw in her. She was pretty but her personality sucks." Zander immediately shut up moments later. He shouldn't have been rambling on about it. what needed to happen, was Bex needed to start seeing a doctor. He would help support her with the baby. But only if she was desperate. He would be a good father. He had to be.
Kieera rolled her eyes at her, just as Lincoln scoffed. "Guess you'll be throwing me out the window." He said as he jumped back into his bed. "School is for losers." He said seriously, hiding his face.
Kieera finally spoke up. "She didn't send me to be your babysitter. I came on my own. You seem like a great ball of fun and I enjoy that very much about you." She said, plus she was super excited to have her back. Even if she wasn't drinking, when Effie was around… Kieera and Ace got it on. Maybe this time it would go further.

Effie turned back to stare at Kieera, her hazel eyes big as she looked at her friend. She had a connection with her from the moment they met that she couldn't explain, and she knew they'd be good friends one day. So Effie wrapped her arms around Kieera for a tight and quick hug. "I missed you, you loser," she muttered with a force laugh before pulling away, trying to ignore the fact she was tearing up. She hated feeling close to someone; boys, girls, friends, anyone. She felt vulnerable. And she didn't like it. "You're allowed to babysit me, but I can assure you I won't be throwing myself off a rooftop anytime soon." She flashed a smile before she gestured for Kieera to follow her down the hall.
"Link," Jack groaned as he walked over to the side of the bed, tempted to just push him out of it. "Effie's back, man. You can get out of bed now and start going to class again."
Ace had been sure that Link would have jumped out of bed and ran to hug Effie, but this reaction, crawling back into bed like the miserable teenager he was, wasn't what he expected at all. "And if you don't get out of bed, you won't see her again today."
Kieera watched this mess play out before her. Her brother had really messed up this time and it was because he had probably be too horny to even think straight. But she still cared for him. He was struggling and she didn't know how to help exactly, but she would… even if Franky wasn't her favorite person.
Gewls turned to the guys, rolling her eyes at what each of them were saying. They needed to cut it out. "Hey, let's to see what's going on. Don't worry about Demitri or Effie and whether or not she likes him. Right now we have a friend out there who is going through a lot and an enemy who is getting in the way."
Demitri kept smirking, though on the inside he wanted to grab both boys by their hair and smash their heads together. A little violent? Huh. Well, whatever the case it was ridiculous. They were assholes.
