Bex just nodded slightly and gave her a smile. "Thanks, Headmistress."

At that moment Gewls came running in, throwing her hair up into a ponytail, nearly running into some other student who was clearly eavesdropping on their conversation.

Bex watched her walk away before she whispered, "Did anyone else hear the double meaning in her voice or was that just me?" Something seemed off with her, and Bex couldn't quite place it.

"I'll go get link if somebody thinks it's a good idea…?" Zander asked glancing over at Gewls who was looking very pale. He didn't say anything though. He wanted to see what everyone else was going to say.

Bex thought for a second before turning to Zander and nodding. "She kind of made it sound like he was obligated to come without making herself sound like an ass about it," she admitted honestly.

Kieera listened in on what Bex was saying and it couldn't have been more true about everything. "Just leave Link alone. He doesn't have to make an appearance and he won't either."
Zander nodded. "Alright. We'll just leave him be for the time being ."

Bex let out a sigh as she looked at the filling dinning room. "Let's get this over with," she grumbled as she started towards the big hall. She was seriously dreading this, and the rest of the day. She just had a feeling this was going to be a bad week.

Zander nodded. It did seem like it was going to be a bad week but at the same time it was a bad last two months. As they sat by and waited for Effie to just fall back into their laps.
"No… that's… are you serious?" Demitrious sat with Franky, he was just beginning to tolerate her and then all of a sudden… bam. She was telling him this big news that nobody else knew about.

Bex made her way to their table. Ever since the "incident," their team had grouped up at one table, and unfortunately Franky and Demitri had worked their way into it too, so she wasn't surprised to see them already there.
"Yes, I'm serious," Franky growled in a hush tone, fidgeting nervously. "Now will you keep your voice down? They don't know about it yet," she whispered, barely getting the words out before Bex appeared with the rest of the group.

Zander followed, smiling at most of the other students though on the inside he knew they were watching because they felt like this group of friends was crazy. It was true though. They were crazy. But whatever.
Demitri looked up at Zander and simply nodded. "Yup, nobody knows. And wait till they find out." He couldn't help but laugh. In all his experience with sex and what not, never had anyone gotten fertile because of him. He could only imagine how many women were carrying the guy's kid.

Franky swallowed hard after she watched Zander, wondering how the hell she was going to tell him. She pondered the idea of even telling him at all, if it was worth it, but she knew he had a right to know. And she needed help making a decision. She was terrified. As she opened her mouth to ask if she could talk to him alone, she was quickly cut off by a voice over the speakers.
"Good morning students," Headmistress said at the podium, and the students all chimed back a "Good morning Headmistress" before she continued on with her announcements. "This isn't something that will be easy for any of us to discuss, but please pay close attention to what I have to say." She shot a look towards the table of eight that should have had nine if Link had shown up, and Bex felt her stomach drop. "As you all know, one of our students, Elizabeth Stonem, known as Effie to her friends, was kidnapped over two months ago at an annual fundraiser in Denver while on a mission. We did everything we could to find her." She swallowed again, and Bex felt tears well up in her eyes. She's dead, she thought, over and over and over again. She's bloody dead.
"Unfortunately, we never found any trace of her. However, you'll all be happy to hear she appeared on the doorstep here at school this morning." She heard the sudden whisper fall over the students, and she quickly started speaking again to silence them. "She is alive, but not completely well. She has been tortured, as you can well imagine, and unfortunately has suffered a memory loss that has prevented her to remember anything from when she was taken, on. Now, please respect this girl. She's been through hell and back; make it your best effort to welcome her back into her home."
Bex immediately stood up when the Headmistress stopped talking, and for some reason she thought it was a sick joke or a bad dream. But she spun around, and there Effie stood, in the archway of the dining room. Curly hair in a messy bun, eyes dark and cheeks hallow, and she could even spot a few new scars from where she was standing. But she was there, and she was alive.

Demitri pushed himself to her feet, he couldn't help the sudden racing of his heart. Yup, she was back and he couldn't entirely believe it. Franky was pregnant and Effie was back. The worse part is she looked like crap. She looked like she was tortured and she wasn't suppose to be hurt like that. He cleared his throat and glanced at Franky. "Looks like you got what you wanted." He said with angry as he licked his lips to keep them from growing too dry.

Bex ran over to her, meeting her halfway with tears in her eyes. "Oh my God, Effie," she whispered, looking at the girl who, just two months ago, had color in her skin and less scars plastered all around her neck and a few new ones on her face. She couldn't imagine what the rest of her body looked like, despite the fact that she could tell she lost another ten pounds. "Oh my God," she whispered again.
Once again, Effie just rolled her eyes. "Will you stop saying that and just hug me already?" she asked, and immediately Bex threw her arms around her broken friend.
Franky looked back at Demitri and hissed a very pissed off, "You can't tell me you didn't expect her to return looking like that. You know what they do to people. They're lucky she came back in one piece with her heart still in tact." She huffed and crossed her arms, planting herself back in her seat. She had bigger things to worry about than a paler and skinnier Effie.

Gewls let go of Jack. All of those long nights she had stayed away to make sure her friend was okay… and here she was battered and scared but alive. And that's all that mattered. "Effie! It's you! I missed you so much." She threw her arms around Bex and Effie, then a moment later it was all four of the roommates. Only Franky had taken the spot but she was now going to move. They weren't keeping her in Effie's place because it most certainly wasn't right. Franky would never belong with them.
Zander just watched, feeling this happiness to know that she was back and Bex would be happier again. He didn't know how to help her and make her happier without her best friend at her side. This was going to bring back Bex.
Demitri rolled his eyes, getting into her face. "Stop being a bitch for two seconds Franky. She was beat to hell. You should probably tell him while his girlfriend isn't around. Because if you wait any longer they aren't going to believe he is the father." He muttered before walking over to the girls. God, Franky was a complete turd.

Bex sniffled and pulled away finally, brushing the wet spot on Effie's shoulder. "Sorry about that," she muttered and then a bubble of laughter escaped her lips.
Effie looked over at Gewls and Kieera with her Effie smile. She wished she was better with verbalizing her emotions, because right now she wanted to tell them all how much she'd missed them, how the only things she could remember from the past two months were dreams about being with her friends, the people she'd grown to consider family. "I've missed you guys too," she murmured quietly. "I mean, I think. I don't remember much."
Franky felt like she could slap him in that moment, but knew that'd be a horrible idea, especially with a guy like Demitri, so she simply took his advice and walked over to where Zander was sitting, watching the reunion from his seat. "Can I talk to you for a second?" she whispered to him, making sure no one else could hear her.

"Hey." Demitrious said quietly from behind the girls. It was amazing to see her again and he couldn't help br hate himself for being the soul reason she even got taken.
Zander glanced over at her and sighed. But he managed to give her a smile because he was kind of a jackass to her. He had been super mean to her. He had said awful things. "What's up?"

"And speaking of Link," Bex said, looking at Effie. "He's been refusing to leave his room unless you actually showed up. And we all think he needs to see the light of day."
Effie sneered at her best friend, holding her arms out and raising the sleeves up, only to reveal new sets of shiny scars and burn marks on her drastically paler skin, and she would have honestly rather remembered getting them. At least she would remember something. "Yeah, well so do I. I look like a bloody zombie."
Franky nodded towards the foyer door, deciding it would be best if they talked somewhere where, if he started freaking out, everyone wouldn't be there to witness it. She didn't want everyone else to know, at least not yet. She didn't even want him to know, but she knew he had to. So she headed towards the doors, waiting for him to follow.

Kieera smiled happily. She looked around to see where Ace had gone. He could share this moment with her. This happiness of having one of her role models back in her life and even though she bared more scars… she was back.
Demitri felt his hear pound against his ribcage. "It's so good to see you again… I missed you… and you're back." And not to mention he was the asshole that helped her get into the situation she had been in anyways. He was a great guy. Why didn't he have girls lined up to be with him? Huh? He definitely had an amazing ability to attract them to their deaths.
Zander stood up,looking around before he was actually walking towards her hopefully she didn't ambush him for everything now that Effie was back. He ran his fingers through his hair trying to figure out something to say so that it could break the obvious tension between them. But it stayed heavy in the foyer. "What's going on Franky?"

"It's true," Bex said, feeling odd talking to Demitrious so casually. "She's a real pain in the ass."
Ace stood up from his spot at the table when he saw Kieera looking around, figuring out the look in her eyes meant she was looking for him. So he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, planting a big, sloppy kiss on her cheek. "Now you have boy cooties."
Franky swallowed hard once they were alone in the foyer; now that she was in the moment, she really didn't know if she had the courage to tell him the news that he was going to be a father. "I have some news," she said finally as she fidgeted nervously with her fingers. "Remember how I was getting sick constantly last month? Well... I went to the nurse... and..." She swallowed again; her throat felt like sand paper and her hands were cold and clammy. "Zander, I'm pregnant," she finally whispered, holding a hand above her mouth as if she wanted to take the words back.

Kieera laughed lightly. "If that's all it took then I probably have more than boy cooties." She didn't know what exactly was going on between them. But he definitely connected to her and they were in sync, a lot like Gewls and Jack or even how Bex and Zander were getting.
Zander had been completely blind sided and immediately he began going through all of the files in his head. About when he was with Franky and he could clearly remember pulling out, except… when they… headmistress's office. They had tried to be quick but it must have been too late. He stood there completely frozen for what seemed like years. Because to him this just seemed like a scheme to get him back and he didn't want to go back. "You're lying."

Jack swallowed his bite of pancakes before he nodded and said, "Weirdly enough, yeah. Which is strange because you spend most of your time around me picking on me."
Ace chuckled as he pressed his lips against her skin once more. "Mmm, you're the greatest," he told her with another laugh. He liked Kieera. A lot. She was the perfect combination of cute and shy yet defensive and sexy. He loved it.
Franky quickly shook her head, pinching the bridge of her nose. She could feel a migraine coming on. "Honest to God, Zan, I wish I was lying. I wish this was some big joke I could just yell "kidding!" at the end," she said, choking back tears. She was so scared. "But I'll show you the test results if you want the proof. I'm pregnant. And it's definitely yours."

Kieera turned her body slightly in his arms. "Can you believe she's back?" She knew that Effie was. She had felt her flesh against her fingertips. Which could have sounded strange but coming from Kieera, she was just happy to know her friend was alive. Everyone was. "Ace. She's safe."
"Why? Oh my god. Why is this happening?" Zander put his hands on the sides of his head, trying to comprehend but it didn't make sense to him. This was definitely happening and it seemed like a big ol' joke. Bad joke. "How far are you?" He asked. Shit! How was he going to tell Bex?

Bex sat down beside her best friend, just then realizing that Zander was missing. "Where's Zan?" she asked, checking over her shoulder to see if he was still in sight.
Jack shrugged at her from across the table. "I think I saw him and Franky in the hallway," he mumbled with a mouthful of food, flinching just as he felt something hit his cheek. Now Effie was throwing grapes at him from Kieera's plate. Lovely. "What are you doing?"
Effie shrugged. "I'm bored. You guys are acting weird."
"You just appeared out of thin air, Effie," Jack said, as if it was obvious. "We all thought you were dead. And now you're throwing things at me. Yeah, it's a little strange." She simply rolled her eyes an continued her game. Eventually, he caught on and started catching them in his mouth when she tossed them.
Ace smiled down at her, so relieved and happy to see color in her cheeks and a smile on her lips again. He'd missed that so much. "It's almost too hard to believe," he admitted. "I keep waiting to wake up or something. But it never happens. She's really here. In one piece."
"Two months," Franky whispered, shaking her head as she leaned against the wall. "Zander, I'm bloody terrified!" she practically shouted at him. "I don't know how to handle this! What am I supposed to do?" She was good at making the situation all about her, but right now she needed someone to tell her what the right choice was, what was the best decision, because she was at a total loss.

Gewls watched as Effie and Jack played around with food like chilren. She was just happy that she was back. Now Gewls didn't feel like she needed to make fun of Jack. Effie could do that. "It's nice. That you're back. It feels the empty void."
Kieera blinked once, before closing her eyes completely. "Pinch me." She said without a trace of humor. It clearly wasn't a dream, or a joke. She just, she needed to make sure. And then they could feel free to kick Franky out and everything. They would go jump on. Link's bed and tell him that she was here in the flesh. There would be positive things from having her back around.
"I don't know. Being a teen dad wasn't exactly written up in my book of instructions Franky." Zander snapped. At this point, he should have been trying to be all supportive. But how could he be supportive when he didn't even want to be around her anymore? She was bossy and unorganized and even worse she played people. She was good at this spy game and at the same time she sucked completely.

Bex and Effie turned to Demitri, both frowning at what he said. "What did she tell you?" they said simultaneously, and then Bex added, "What could she possibly need to tell Zander that can't be said in front of us?"
Ace gave her a look since he could tell she was serious about the whole "pinch me" thing. "Kieera, you're awake, and Effie is here. Alive. She made it back," he told her with a small smile, reaching up to tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Eventually everything's going to get back to normal and we'll all have each other here in one piece. It's okay. You're not dreaming."
"Well I never planned on being a teen mom either, you selfish ass!" Franky whisper-yelled back at him, checking over her shoulders to make sure no one else was there to over hear their conversation. She shook her head; she felt like she was going to lose it, if she hadn't already. "Zander, please. I need help. I don't know what to do or where to go and I was hoping you'd be willing to help me."

"I missed you that much. Jack missed you too." Gewls knew that she didn't understand why they had been so sad after she disappeared but it was awful withot her. They didn't party or drink or do things they wouldn't have done on their own. Well… Gewls used to do that stuff on her own but then she saw the consequences with those girls. She just dove back into it again. "You're seriously our best friend."
Demetri strugged. "What if I told you that Franky was with child and it just so happened to be Zander's?" So much for keeping the secret. Franky was going to kill him today.
Kieera's eyes flickered open. "I feel like… it's crazy… but i feel like when she wS gone, so was a huge part of who we were. She's nuts. But she's what brought us all together." She leaned onto him, before kissing him passionately. There had been rumors about them… saying that they were friends with benefits. Bit even though thy hadn't said they were official, they sure acted like they could be.
"I don't even know what to think… how do you want me to help?" Zander asked. What was he suppose to do? He was about as clueless on this as she was. And all he could think of was Bex and her reaction and how this was surely going to screw everything up.

Effie nearly choked on the orange juice she had in her mouth, and Bex's jaw hit the floor as they both looked at Demitri. "You're lying," Effie said simply, a small smile on her lips. This was brilliant news to her, considering how much she hated Franky. If there was any excuse to get that girl away from them and the school, Effie would have found it, but her job just got a whole lot easier.
"Don't act happy about this!" Bex shouted at her best friend, suddenly both furious and heartbroken. "That's my boyfriend!"
Effie simply frowned at Bex, and it hit her then. She must have missed a lot over the past two months.
Ace smiled as she kissed him, his hands gripping tightly on her lower back. God, he loved kissing her. He pulled away slowly to look at her, realizing something. "You're right," he mused aloud. "I mean, if she hadn't come over to our table on that first day of school and broken us all out of school, none of us would be together." So that was the reason he'd missed her so much. She was the reason they were all friends, a team.
"Tell me what to do!" Franky shouted, unable to hold back the tears that brimmed in her eyes. "What the fuck am I supposed to do, Zander? I can't do this! I can't afford to lose my career because of this! I'm terrified!" She suddenly regretted telling him; obviously this was only making things worse, and he was in no mood to help her with the fact that she was bearing his child.

Demitri smiled back at Effie before turning to Bex. "Well, it is happening and she is currently in the process of telling him all about it. I honestly thought Zander was more better when it came to protection since he is a very horny guy."
Gewls rolled her eyes at Demitri. Zander wasn't all that bad especially since he was now in a good relationship with Bex. She certainly straightened him out. At least, that's what Gewls and Kieera had discussed recently. "It must be a joke… you should go see what's going on?" She offered Bex.
Kieera felt the corners of her mouth lift up into a casual smile. "She's a good person." Was all she could figure to say at this point. She just felt lost looking into Ace's gorgeous eyes. He was absolutely beautiful and she was so darn lucky to be held by him. "I was thinking we should seriously host a party tonight."
"I can't tell you what to do if I don't even know myself! Damn it Franky! It was a fucking accident!" Zander ran his fingers through his hair once again trying to figure out what he should do. "Adoption? Or abortion? Or do you wanna keep the kid? I don't know. I don't know what you should do. I never thought something like this could happen to me."

Bex almost immediately stood up and started heading towards the door, and with a grin on her face, Effie stood up as well and said, "I gotta see this." She'd been dying for a fight between these two for ages, and on her first day back it would make the best homecoming present. She grabbed Kieera's wrist as she jogged past her, keeping her pace behind Bex. "Rumor has it that your brother got Princess Francesca pregnant," she whispered to the girl as she had her eyes locked on the back of Bex's head. Boy, she was excited.
Ace was getting ready to respond to Kieera's statement about the party until Effie literally ripped her from his hands. He would have said something if he didn't fear for his life every time he talked to her, so instead he just turned to Jack, Demitri and Gewls.
"Demitrious says Franky's pregnant," Jack explained simply, jutting a thumb in Demitri's direction, as if the entire situation was casually normal. He turned to Gewls. "Has anyone actually gone to wake Link up? If he finds out Effie's been here the whole time and we never brought him down, he'll kill us all."
Franky just shook her head, holding onto the roots of her hair as she began pacing. "I don't know, Zander!" she yelled back. "I didn't plan on this happening either. I thought... I thought we were covered." She swallowed hard. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. And it was about to get worse, since she spotted a very angry looking Bex stomping her way towards them. "Shit. Why does it look like she knows?"

Zander rolled his eyes before following her gaze. And there came his Bex. She looked mad enough to take down the entire school student body without a scratch. But for some reason, he didn't blame her or even want to fight her. This had been a stupid deciscion and the consequences seriously sucked. But he could deal with it. At least for now. If she was on his side though. It would make everything better. "I think she does know. And if that's the case the. She has to be involved too. But she doesn't have too if she doesn't want me anymore."
Demitrious have Jack a look. "I wouldn't make something like that up. I like entertainment. But even more so I can't believe the idiot didn't wear. Condom:" he said with a light chuckle. Right before a grunt came out of his mouth when Gewls foot connected with his shin. "Stop being an asshole. This is serious." She stood to her feet. "I will go talk to him. Who ever wants to join feel free." She looked at Jack and Ace the. At Demitrious. "You better not be here when I come back."

Franky just shook her head, dabbing her eyes to keep from ruining her make up. "Bex, neither of us need this right now, alright? We get it, we screwed up, and right now I'm currently trying to figure out what the hell I'm going to do."
Effie stood behind Bex, arms crossed with a small smile on her thinned out face. She was having way too much fun witnessing the crumble of Franky's life.
Ace and Jack shared a look before they each stood up and decided to follow Gewls. "Haha! No one likes you," Ace said mockingly to Demitri and Jack couldn't stop himself from snort-laughing.
"He's better than Franky," he said to his best friend, as if the boy wasn't sitting right there.
Ace made a face. "Yeah, but that's not hard to do."
Jack raised a brow. "And Effie likes him." It was no secret that something at least happened between them; there was quite obviously a spark between both of them. They were too similar for one not to be.
He shook his head once more. "I don't buy that," he said honestly.
