Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (Nah it's totally okay! Are you alright though? Is something bothering you?)

message 1102: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (I'm fine. Pinky swear! Thank you.)

message 1103: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) She was so close to being finished with this damn mess. She'd gotten what she needed, and she was halfway to the elevator when she felt someone's arms wrap around her. Instinctively, Effie reached up to defend herself, but it was as if her attacker knew exactly what she was trained to do, because he blocked her attack too smoothly and pinned her arms down by her side in time for another man to come around the corner, and without skipping a beat, he cracked her skull against the plaster of the wall, hard enough to knock her out with one hit. And within seconds, she disappeared outside.

Jack felt like he'd been spending all night looking for Gewls when he finally found her near the edge of the dance floor. He sighed with relief; for some reason he'd been entirely too nervous without her right by his side, and he couldn't quite place the feeling. He approached her from behind, leaning down to whisper softly in her ear, "I hope you've still saved me that dance."

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (Of course! I just want to make sure you're okay :)

message 1105: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (Yeah, I'm good.)

Demitri hated himself for this, but he had helped. He had lead the guys to where she would becoming from and he helped them get her. So there ya had it. But her parents wanted to see her and then make her forget everything. And that was only part of their plan. They were very different. Probably from when they started. He remembered hearing stories, before he had met them and they had convinced him that they were doing something good.

Gewls looked up,startled. She had been waiting all night to dance with him and stuff. That's when things started going to crap. She couldn't find Kieera or link. She felt like she was being watched and even more so, something about her feelings made her think that there was something very wrong. And they had failed their mission. "Oh my goodness. It's you." She whispered. She wanted to hug him but she was being watched. They both were. "Something… is wrong."

message 1106: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Jack frowned as he looked at her, and he realized that whatever he was feeling in his gut wasn't because of too much champagne. "You feel it too," he assumed, and quite honestly he wanted nothing more than to get out. Stop playing characters and figure out what was wrong. But that was all part of being a spy.
Before he could tell Gewls that they need to go find the others, Ace appeared behind them like mist before speaking. "Why does it feel like someone just died?" he whispered loudly, trying brush off the obvious tension hanging in the air with humor, but he could tell by the looks on their faces something was wrong.

Caesar heard the O.K. from the tiny comms unit inside his ear, and almost reluctantly he looked down at Rae. The target had been acquired, to put it in technical terms. Either way, they had to get out of there and meet the rest of their crew half a block down. Their mission was just beginning.

message 1107: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee Gewls resisted the urge to hug him. "Things are off and I don't know why. We have to find everyone." She was clearly already breaking code and she didn't want to be. She couldn't be the one that failed because something didn't sit right in her stomach. She out her hands on her waist and looked at her boyfriend, who wasn't really allowed to be her boyfriend at that moment. "Do you see anyone coming this way?" She asked just as Ace approached them. And his words made her stomach tie even more knots.

Rae heard it too and immediately she stepped out of his arms and have him this wicked smile. Being the bad guy creaking sucked. She liked her CIA status much more. She had to admit it because fitting in undercover meant being even more of a mega bitch than in real life situation. But she absolutely loved her job. Busting bad guys.

message 1108: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) "Nope," Ace answered quickly, but he didn't consider it good news. "Quite honestly, the only remotely suspicious person I ran into tonight was some drunk guy at the bar who couldn't really speak English. Well, that and Demitri. We've never trusted him though."
As much as Jack loved his sense of humor, now wasn't really the time for Ace's jokes. "Do you know where Kieera and Link are? Zander and Bex and Effie?" he asked him, turning to Gewls to see if she had seen them too.

"Francesca," Caesar acknowledged Franky with a nod as he headed out into the hallway, matching his pace with Rae's so they stood side by side. "Demitrious. Long time no see. How's Harvey been?" He didn't stop walking, they didn't have time, and Franky followed his lead towards the front doors to the hotel.
"Terrific," she muttered sarcastically.
Caesar gave an equally sarcastic grin. "I can tell. Nice black eyes."

message 1109: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee "Kieera and Link were with me for a while and then they disappeared. I figured it was because they were getting 'aquainted' with each other." Gewls stared at the ground. "Otherwise I haven't really seen anyone. I wondered around trying to find targets. At one point this guy… an old guy came up to me, Kieera and Link asking us questions. I didn't really answer any… Kieera did though and after that they were gone."

Rae blinked back a couple times to hide that she was glaring at Demitrious. "If you listened to our bosses you would know not to screw with their daughter." She said with this snap in her voice. Franky was stupid. She definitely fit into the blonde category and didn't deserve to actually be working with the team. She couldn't handle this career.

message 1110: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Jack furrowed his brow at Gewls. "What kind of questions did he ask you?" he asked curiously, wondering what kind of guy was approaching them randomly to be asking questions.
Ace's attention was already drifting away as his eyes scanned the room, and eventually he caught sigh of what looked like the bright purple dress that was happily burned into his brain. "Found them," he mumbled, and immediately darted off towards the group, and Jack looked at Gewls before gesturing for her to follow as he trudged along behind Ace.

Franky sneered at Rae's comment before looking back at Demitri. "At least I didn't literally screw their daughter," she accused defensively. She was so sick of the blame being applied to her.
Caesar raised a brow at Demitri, but said nothing. Some things needed to be done for certain missions. "Better pray Hope and Mark don't find out about you two," he mumbled with a dry laugh once they were outside, speaking of Effie's parents.

message 1111: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee "About the ball and stuff…" Gewls trailed off. She felt her heart skip a beat in her chest moments later when she spotted Bex and Zander coming up behind Link. She saw everyone there. Everyone except for the crazy… and amazing Effie. She was no where to be seen.
Kieera finally dropped her act, there was no reason too now because everyone they had been their for was now gone and if was just the seven of them. So what happened to the other three that made them a group of ten?
Zander held Bex's hand. Things were intense and they could feel it thick in the atmosphere. So why was that?

"I actually made sure it was in my résumé." Demitri said with this light airy smile on his face. "I personally think Franky just wishes it was her that would have recived the 'D' but she most definitely isn't the funniest person I have worked with." He admited before stepping outside.
Rae just rolled her eyes. What a pig.

message 1112: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Once Bex spotted Ace, she sighed with relief. Okay, the group was finally coming together. Everything was okay. They were freaking out over nothing. But when she watched as Jack and Gewls appeared out of the crowd, and no Effie, she held her breath again.
"Someone have any idea what's going on?" Ace asked, his voice barely above a whisper as he quickly placed himself beside Kieera, relieved she was here and okay.
"Where's Effie?" Bex quickly asked, looking at Gewls and Jack, and Jack shrugged.
"I thought she'd be here with you," he answered.

Caesar looked over at Rae and shared the same expression of disgust before the approached the short couple standing on the sidewalk, just beside a dark SUV.
"Oh, look who decided to grace us with their presence," Hope announced rather sarcastically, and her husband spun around to eye all four agents. They weren't anything more than kids. "I hope the reason you're brave enough to show me your faces is to give me what I need." She was a nervous wreck. Kidnapping her own daughter for the secret society's agency so they could use her for whatever it was they needed. She was high ranking; but not high enough to what it was they needed her daughter for. And she prayed to God Effie made it out of this alive.

message 1113: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee Link looked around for a moment. Where was the crazy girl he had the biggest crush on? Did she leave or something? Oh man… what if she was with Demitri getting high or drinking or both? She probably was having a spectacular time with him. She liked him more anyways.
Kieera shook her head, her lips pressing against each other. They should have tried to stay together but each person had a specific mission or their own.

"I made sure that you got what you came here for." Demitrious said, leaving any trace of laughter and fun behind. He was most definitely serious when it came to this stuff. He was afraid of the consequences of if he didn't keep his shit together.
Raegan didn't say anything. The information they had gathered wasn't for these guys. But for her other bosses. Even though she knew she should have grabbed slam thing that was definitely Caesars job.

message 1114: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Bex felt the color drain from her face as she held her breath, swallowing hard. Something was most definitely wrong. "This isn't good," she thought aloud, shaking her head. "Ace, go check your room. See if she's up there. I'm going to go up to Demitri's room. Someone else needs to see if they can find Franky or Demitri."
Jack raised a brow at Bex, almost afraid that she was over-reacting. "Are we sure she didn't just run off? It's not like it would be the first time," he asked, and Bex threw him a look that honestly scared him.
"I can break your fingers too, Jack," she warned him before she started towards the elevators, still hand in hand with Zander.

Caesar gave a silent nod as he handed her the notebook filled with what he'd written down with Gewls, Kieera and Link, which honestly had nothing to do with the questions he asked them.
Franky reached into her clutch and pulled out the small envelope she'd been sent to fetch, and handed it over as well.
Hope took both the items before tossing another glare to Demitri. "Congratulations. You've all done your jobs for once," she said mockingly. "You two better get back to your "friends"," she said to Franky and Demitri, and Franky almost immediately spun around to make her way back. "And you two. You know what your next job is. Good luck at Harvey." She eyed Rae and Caesar before she and her husband got into the car and they quickly sped off.

message 1115: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee "Don't touch his fingers. It's irrational." Gewls said. She didn't think that it was right of Jack to say anything but she certainly wasn't going to let the girl come after her boyfriend when it wasn't necessary. "We will find Effie." She promised. At least, she hoped they would find Effie without doing anything too crazy.
"I hope she's okay." Kieera mumbled, wondering where she should go. She needed to do something. Effie was her friend too.

Demitri turned, to follow after her-Franky. His eyes locked on the ground. He didn't wan to to back. They weren't his friends. The only one who even liked him was Effie and she was being kidnapped and now he had to pretend that everything was okay. Lthat he hadn't been involved.
Rae knew. She nodded and moved towards one of the vehicles. She just wanted to be a trainer. That's all she wanted and she hoped that she would have the opportunity.

message 1116: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Ace made a face. "It is Effie we're talking about. I wouldn't be too concerned," he said in an attempt to help Kieera relax. Effie was one of the strongest people he knew; he didn't think anything could break her. Physical or psychological. He started towards the elevators after Bex before he stopped and looked back at Kieera to see if she would join him or not.
Jack crossed his arms with a light sigh before he shook his head at Bex. Apparently, when cornered, she would snap. "Let's go find Demitri and Franky," he mumbled, looking up at Gewls and then at Link to see if they were in agreement with him.

Franky just marched back in side, a grudge hanging over her head. She was glad Effie was gone (she wished it would have been for longer) but her boss treated them like absolute shit, and she couldn't afford to stand up for herself without ending up in the situation Effie was in right now.

Caesar quickly got into the driver's side, starting up the luxurious car. "You know, if we were paid more, I might actually be able to afford something this nice," he said as he revved the engine. "Something a little more James Bond-ish though." He shrugged and gave her one of his signature smiles.

message 1117: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee "So, just because it's Effie doesn't mean she isn't breakable. Something is wrong." Kieera stepped after Ace. She could no longer see Bex and Zander but she knew that with everyone splitting up, it meant that something really was a lot worse than it seemed to be. "I'm scared. It could have been anyone and from what I heard tonight there are a lot of people who are after Harvey students."
Zander stated closed to Bex. "It's going to be okay, we will find your best friend." He liked to think that they would find her. I mean, eventually.
Gewls nodded, looking over at a distraught Link. He was just staying there. She felt bad for him and yet everything seemed to be falling to pieces.

"Hey, you should relax. Maybe this is a good think Franky." Demitri thought she was acting pretty darn weird. He would be there for her despite the fact that he wasn't too intrigued by her because she was annoying. He was her partner though. "Let's stop for a moment." He grabbed her hand.

"If we made more money and owned a nicer car, no way would I ever let you drive." Rae turned to look at him, a serious look on her face. "I really hope I'm a trainer at Harvey. I don't wan to be a student again." She said seriously. She hated that life.

message 1118: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Ace raised a brow at what she said, stopping to stare at her eyes behind her mask. "What do you mean? What did you hear?" he asked, almost too quickly. "Who's after us?" He was beginning to question the real purpose of this mission; it felt like the school was just out to endanger all of them, or maybe this was all a big joke and nobody was in actual danger; it was just a test.

"Do you think we should tell those guys from the school?" Bex asked as she rapidly and furiously pressed the button on the elevator, as if it would help it show up sooner. "You know, our tails or whatever. I don't want to tell them too soon and get her in trouble if she's just sitting in a bathtub getting drunk, but if something is wrong and she's actually missing..." She shook her head. Who was after them? Who here at the ball could have kidnapped one of their team members?

Franky immediately jerked her hand away. "Never touch me again," she commanded, her freckled face turning red, but she did stop with him, pacing lightly on the sidewalk. "I never said this wasn't a good thing. I mean, that cocky twat is finally gone, you and I won't be distracted or beaten up by her again, and now we can continue on with the mission and hopefully not get our heads blown off by Hope." She stopped and sighed, shaking her head and fluffing her curls, as if she had time to be concerned about her appearance right now.

Caesar smiled at what she said before he grew serious, nodding slightly. "I don't think you'll be a student again, Rae," he assured her as he started driving down the busy street. "I mean, if I get to be an art teacher - the one and only art teacher at that school, to be exact - odds are, you won't be another student."

message 1119: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (Ooh my goodness! I love this!)

"Everyone… all the bad guys. I mean… they didn't know who we were there. But the guy was was making out with kept telling me about how Harvey students are too good. And they shouldn't have been allowed to come." Kieera had heard a lot and it was something she needed to tell the school board about. Stuff was going to happen and it wasn't going to be a beautiful thing but at least peop could come prepared and ready to take action. "Let's just make sure Effie isn't here."

"We will in a little whole. If Effie doesn't come back or something by tomorrow than we will tell them of her disappearance." Zander replied. He couldn't help this nervous feeling in his chest. Something was definitely wrong but they wouldn't do anything drastic just yet. It was hard but it would have to be the case. "Do you think she's just drinking away or something. I mean it is the Effie way? But… I don't know…"

"You know, maybe if you were less harsh she would be nice to you. But you act like this bitch… if you were nice everyone would like you. All the guys would want you and for more than just sex. Like that Zander guy. He just wanted you because he could sense you were easy. Effie, she most definitely wasn't easy at all." Demitri said, she wasn't going to replace the crazy Brit. She was quite impossible though.

"You're the art teacher? Are you so excited about that?" Rae knew he was amazing and his passion for art. It was beautiful. She looked a the handsome boy with a smile on her face. "I'm so proud of you." He always seemed to make the situations much mor special and his reassurance is seriously what got her to love on everyday. He was an amazing man. "Now, don't mind me, I'm going to light up a cigarette."

message 1120: by Rosaleen (last edited Apr 12, 2014 12:30PM) (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (I know! I love it too!)

Ace furrowed his brow at what she said. Harvey Academy was every elite's dream school on the outside, and any socialite that couldn't get their kid in held a grudge, but what could anyone at that ball have to hold against the school? Still, he kept his thoughts to himself. Once they reached the suit, he unlocked the door and quickly let himself inside. Everything looked just the way they left it, except... different. "Someone's been here," he said to Kieera, and he wondered if it could have been Effie to throw clothes and empty liquor bottles all over the room, but in his gut he knew it was someone else. Someone other than Effie.

Bex let out a long sigh as she got into the elevator, leaning back against the wall as she pinched her eyes shut and rubbed her temples. "I pray to God she's just hiding from us, but I know she wouldn't leave. If she's still here, she's too high and/or drunk to even stand up. Today isn't her day," she grumbled and shook her head, quickly stepping off the elevator when it stopped. "And when I find her, I might end up kicking her ass."

Franky batter her big blue eyes at him before she sneered. "First of all, you know nothing about Effie. She's never been the most pleasant person to be around; we've never gotten along. Second, I wouldn't have started acting like a bitch if people didn't treat me like shit at this damn school," she said with a bitter snarl. She was just dying to be done with this damn assignment already. She wished she would have been in charge of interrogation, if that's what you could call what they were going to do to Effie. And for once, the girl wouldn't be able to fight back.

"Thrilled," Caesar answered, but scrunched his nose as he cracked the passenger window for her. He didn't much prefer the smell of cigarette smoke, but he had learned to get used to it. Being around Rae for more than twenty minutes meant that you would have to deal with her smoking. "I mean, teaching high school students isn't going to be all that great, but at least it's art."

message 1121: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee Kieera moved around him, only to see the giant mess laid out on the floor of the hotel room. "We had cleaned everything up this morning. We made sure it looked nice for room service…" what if they knew? What if their tails had found out that they were all drinking and partying. She was so scared now. But at the same time, she didn't think it was them either. She knew it was someone else and it was going to get bad. "Think they did this to every room or just yours and Effie's?" She asked, moving closer to this boy she had a crush on. He would keep her safe.

"I hardly know Effie as well as you do, but I know she would never abandon us on this mission. She is a smart girl and she works terribly hard to do things that some of us would never be brave enough to do." Zander slipped his arm around her waist and pulled her into his side. "You shouldn't kick her ass. She probably just needed a break of everything and everyone. " what would Effie even be like if she didn't lose her parents at such a young age and how would she act… who would she even be?

"Francesca, she isn't your competition, she is your enemy. Okay? And you need to stop worrying about what she's doing. You are creaking crazy and everyone can see that when thy saw you fighting with her at school. That battered body of yours was earned because you weren't doing your job." He needed to stop lecturing her like he was. He wasn't all he was cracked up to be either Demitri had made larger mistakes but he was able to cover it all up, unlike Franky.

Rae glanced over at him, catching the slightest look of disgust and sighed deeply as she lit it up. "I'm sorry. This isn't your favorite thing, and I did try to quit that one time…" she mumbled. But anyways, they were talking about him as am amazing art teacher. "Don't worry, you will do amazing love. I really believe so." She said, nudging his arm.

message 1122: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Ace clenched his jaw as he shook his head. "They would have talked to us by now or something," he said, speaking of their "babysitters." "They've been stalking us all night. I'd be surprised if they don't show up knock on our doors soon, looking for us," he grumbled, looking down at her. He felt nauseous quite honestly, but he also knew he had to make sure no one else was in the room. At least no one else but Effie. "Effie, you in here?" he called out casually, though he reached for an empty bottle sitting on the island in the counter as his eyes darted towards the hallway. "Bex is ready to kick your ass. She thinks your missing."

Bex pursed her lips together as she wrapped her own arms around him, hugging him close as if she was afraid she would lose him too, though she still didn't have an answer to the "What are we?" question. When she reached Demitri's door, she started pounding on it with her fist. "If either of you are in there, you've got thirty seconds to open the door!" she called in through the door.

Franky stared at him for a few seconds before she swallowed hard and nodded sheepishly. He was right; this wasn't a simple high school. They were competing for a spot to be Queen Bee. She was on a mission, and Effie was the enemy. It was a simple as that. "We need to get back inside," she said, her voice unusually steady. "Before they start getting freaked out that we're involved. They already don't trust us."

Caesar shook his head, giving her a smile. "You know I don't mind. Anymore, at least," he added quickly before locking his eyes back on the road. "What exactly do you have your heart set on doing, Rae?" he asked slowly. "At the school, I mean. What do you want to train them in?"

message 1123: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee Kieera stopped in the man room, going through some of their items. She didn't see anything though. Effie wouldn't have left their mission. She wouldn't have done this. "Do you see her anywhere?" She called back to Ace, her dark eyes still scanning all over the room. She finally sat on the couch, her face blank as she picked up an empty bag of acid. She hated this. She hated this fear she had in her heart and she knew that something was wrong. Everyone had to feel this way about Effie. Not just here.

Of course neither were in there, at least Zander thought so. "Why were they even here to begin with? And at the party why did they disappear?" He asked, his hear hammering in his chest. "Bex…" he stopped when he heard voices down the hall, and turned only to see Franky and Demitri. Walking together and looking rather comfortable with each other.

Demitri nodded, leading her inside. Maybe he would get to her after all. He liked her rather much when she wasn't talking very much. He would actually do things with her if she wasn't such a crazy bitch. And Franky though Effie was bad…

"I'm going to teach them how to be a better alias and even more so I am going to help them depict the bad guy because they suck at it. And I don't care if Hope and Mark find out. I hate this alias. I am mad at the CIA for doing this but I know it's going to be worth it in the end. You know?" Raegan asked, finally finishing off the cigarette. It was a gross habit but it was hers.

message 1124: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Ace returned from down the hall, empty bottle still clutched within his white knuckles. "She's not here, but whoever was here, went through all of her stuff," he told her while he walked over to the balcony. Still no sign of her. "I don't know if she has anything missing though. But I don't think she'd bail out without her luggage," he reasoned, too nervous to sit down so he remained standing by the doorway to their balcony.

Bex stood up then, stopping her progress with using a bobby pin as a screw driver to get the damn electronic lock off when she caught sight of Franky and Demitri. And she didn't know why, but she couldn't get herself to care that she was just about to be caught breaking into his room.
"Bex, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Franky said cautiously as she approached both of them, glancing nervously at Zander and then at Demitri.
"Trying to find Effie," she answered defensively. "And since you obviously weren't here, I took the liberty of letting myself in." Just then, she got the lock open and short-circuited the wires, pulling the door open when she heard it unlock.
Franky just frowned at Zander, as if this was his fault. "Trying to find Effie by breaking into Demitri's room?" she asked him. "What do you mean, trying to find her? Where is she?"

Caesar nodded, smiling slightly at her. "I totally agree, love," he assured her with a wink. "But good luck with those kids. They need a lot of help." It was true. With how things went tonight, they could use all the training they could get, and Raegan was just their girl.

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (It is :D)

message 1133: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee Nearly two months had passed since Effie had disappeared and in all honesty, it had been super hard on all of her friends. Their entire group had morned for a long time. Because they never thought she would be found again. She'd either gone rouge, or something. But it was probably hardest on the headmistress, and the roommates. Lots of tears shed, especially when Franky moved into the room with them. Kieera had lost it when she had began to remove Effie's things. And Bex… well… she wasn't exactly stopping her.

Zander slowly sat up in his bed. He brushed his fingers through his hair and glanced over at Link who hadn't really moved from his bed since they had gotten back to the school. The missed lots of classes and the new teacher… Mrs. Raegan Jane Turner had out a serious hammer on them all. It had been a real good thing that she was a smoking hot teacher.

message 1134: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Bex sat on the edge of her bed like she had been doing every morning for the past two months, staring out the window like the miserable teenager she was. The leaves were starting to change, the weather was getting colder, and still there'd been no sign of Effie's reappearance, and nobody knew anything. Bex had spent hours pounding on the Headmistress's door trying to get information out of her, but she quickly found out that nobody knew anything. Bex'd realized awhile ago that this must have been how Effie felt when her parents disappeared.
"Ready for breakfast?" Franky asked, feeling like she was obligated to speak in a whisper. Everyone was walking around like a zombie after a funeral that never happened, and though she wanted to act sympathetic and mourn the fact that Effie was gone, it was no secret that they mildly hated each other, so she really didn't need to maintain the act.
Bex gave a nod as she pushed herself off the bed, brushing her skirt down. "Let's go get Monday over with," she said with a heavy sigh.

Jack had spent every hour of the past month filtering everything that came out of his mouth, just to make sure he didn't say anything that could push Link over the edge. The was a wreck, and though everyone was missing their little crazy Brit, he was feeling it the most.
Ace, on the other hand, had a problem when it came to acknowledging social cues. So despite the obvious solemnity that hung in the air around campus ever since Effie was declared missing, he tried to keep his sense of humor in tact. It was how he coped. "You coming to breakfast, buddy?" he asked Link, fidgeting with his tie as he looked over at Link's bed.

Whitnee (I'm back and it hasn't been 30mins!)

Whitnee Kieera rolled her eyes at Franky and stood up, glancing down at Gewls who was still sleeping actually. The girl had some pretty strange nights. Not going to lie. She always got up early in the morning and at this point, Kieera figured it was because she had been hacking computers trying to figure out what had happened. "Gewls… wake up:" she shook the girl slightly.
Gewls sat up rather quickly, fast enough that it gave her whip lash and it surprised Kieera. "Oh my gosh!" She grabbed the other girls wrist, not even noticing when Kieera gasped in surprise.

Link rolled over in his bed. "What do you want from me?" He didn't feel motivation to get of of bed. He hadn't done a good job at protecting people. It reminded him exactly of how the last years mission had gone. He didn't think it could have gone that bad but he was too busy getting a stupid briefcase which didn't even have anything in there! "It's not happening."

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (You mean which of the characters shoulder have it?)

"Breakfast, Gewls," Franky tried to say as cheerily as possible. They didn't all love her, and she didn't expect that, but at least they were getting along. Which was a blessing and a curse, because now she was starting to feel guilty, which made her vulnerable. "We're going to be late again, and I heard a rumor that Chef is serving blueberry pancakes." She rubbed her hands together and smiled.

"C'mon, man," Ace pleaded with a groan. "You missed all last week. Let's at least all go to breakfast together. Show Headmaster that you're alive?" he offered, raising his brow. They other teachers had been relatively respectful when it came to the whole mourning thing; they were still distraught that they lost one of their students, but Link had already missed so much. "Just breakfast, and then you can go back to bed." Ace felt like a father making a deal with his son on a Sunday morning.

Whitnee (Who's shoulder should possess that amazing tattoo?)

Gewls didn't even look at Franky, she kept her blue eyes locked into Kieera's dark brown ones. "I'll be just a minute." She said, before letting to of the girls hand.
Kieera could clearly see the dark circles under her eyes but she gave her this smile before she stood up. It was good that she was working hard on everything. She was trying to find Effie because she still had hope.

"Is Effie back?" Link asked. That would be his only reason to get out of bed and actually go do anything but at this very moment he couldn't even consider it. He looked at the others. "Is she? Because if not than I would like you to leave me alone until she is back on campus."
Zander rolled his eyes as she fixed his button up shirt. Sometimes link was stupid and you couldn't fix it. "It'll be okay. It should be. Let's just let him stay where he is and we will work towards finding her so he will get some vitamin D."

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (I definitely think Kieera should have that one)

Franky chewed on her lower lip before she nodded slightly and headed to the door.
"I'll save you some pancakes, Gewls!" Bex called from out in the hallway while Franky joined her.
"Not to be that asshole who brings this up," Franky started nervously. "But wasn't her birthday this month?"
Bex sighed and held back the urge to say something horribly mean and sarcastic. "Is," she corrected. "Her birthday is this month." She wouldn't admit that Effie was dead; Effie was too strong to be dead. She couldn't be dead. "And yes. It's on Halloween. Conveniently."

"How am I going to be of any use in finding her? The only thing I know how to do is make a pipe bomb with nothing but Mountain Dew and battery acid," Ace mumbled, and though it was kind of funny, Jack punched him in the shoulder for it.
"We'll save you a spot if you'd like, then," Jack said once he grabbed the door handle. "And you're going to sit on the floor like a dog, you asshole," he threatened Ace who just rolled his eyes.

Whitnee (Sounds like a plan. :) so what's up?)

Gewls waved them away before laying back down in her bed. She had bit too many dead ends but there was bound to be something. Even if the school didn't know. Someone did.
Kieera closed the door behind her, resisting the urge to punch Franky at the mention of names. "remind me why we decided it was a good idea to let a slutty bitch, room with us in the first place?" She asked, pretending that Franky didn't even exist. Who brought up something like that to a missing girls best friend?

Zander was already out the door. He felt a slight smile on his face at both of the others guys conversation. Some could keep the mood light and airy and some couldn't. It was okay. "You two… at times like these I'm glad you're my friends." He said quietly. It would help later when he was hanging out with Bex.
(Think Franky should be pregnant and tell Zander she is, or should we ditch that plan?)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (Oooooh yes we should definitely still do that! And I'm still stuck at work, running twenty minutes late :( sigh)

Franky stared open-mouthed at Kieera, and Bex held back a laugh, turning it into an awkward snort. "Be nice," she mumbled, though she wasn't really serious at all. Franky stepped over the line with that one, and quite honestly it was hilarious to hear Kieera call her a slutty bitch. "Besides, that reminds me. We're still going to celebrate her birthday, whether she's here or not. We'll all get drunk and play truth or dare." Effie would have liked that.
Franky just frowned as she started heading down the stairs in front of Bex and Kieera. So much for feeling guilty.

"Oh, stop," Ace said in a girly voice to Zander, pretending to hide a blush and Jack almost hit him again. "Seriously though. I learned this awesome recipe in chemistry yesterday that I think we should try out," he said excitedly as he looked between Jack and Zander as he practically ran down the stairs. "I mean, who doesn't have Mountain Dew and battery acid? We could just go blow some fish out of the lake or something."

Whitnee (I'm so freaking excited! And awwww :( I'm sorry. The working life sucks butt.)

"So the guys and Gewls plus you and me." Kieera was dead set on making sure Franky wasn't involved. She wasn't allowed any friends. Any of them as friends anyways. She hated her with this bloody passion and it only got worse when she said stupid things. And that's when Kieera would lose it. She followed after, looking around. She wanted to see Ace at this point. He was way good at making her feel better. And they still weren't in a relationship.

Zander nodded. "We should. And you can always invite those girls." He would definitely wanna have Bex there while he was a stupid boy doing stupid things. It was crazy huh? He was an idiot at times.

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (Yeah it does)

Bex hit the bottom of the stairs just in time to hear a very distraught, "But those girls have cooties!" coming from Ace across the hall, and she laughed again, which was more than she had the entire past two months.
Still, as Ace spotted Kieera, Bex and Franky, he gave them a teasing grin. "Invite those girls to what?" Bex asked Zander, picking up just on the end of their conversation, all while Franky pretended none of them existed and made her way into the dining hall in search of Demitri.
Jack looked at the three girls, and his gut twisted when he almost asked where Gewls and Effie were. Instead, he swallowed hard and glanced at Kieera. "Gewls still asleep?" he assumed.

Whitnee (are you free yet?)

Kieera raised her eyebrow, giving Ace a look. "Cooties huh? You didn't tell me that yesterday you were afraid of me and my cooties." She said seriously, putting her hands on her hips. She had become much more open since Effie went missing and it was because she needed to be brave. It's what Effie would have wanted. She turned to Jack a minute later. "She's sleeping. Or waking up."
"Ace wants to try out an experiment he learned today." Zander said, taking Bex's hands. She was looking much better and it have him this slight feeling of hope.

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (Nope, still stuck here :( ugh but I'm almost done. People just don't know what a 'closed' sign means.)

Ace raised a brow at her and half-smiled. "I like your cooties," he said with a simple shrug before turning to Bex and Zander. "Yeah, new pipe bomb experiment. I get extra credit, we all get to watch something explode. Everybody wins."
"Except the fish in the pond," Jack interjected, tucking his hands in his pockets.
Bex laughed lightly until she felt a hand on her shoulder, quickly realizing it wasn't Zander's. She looked up behind her, seeing Headmistress "Where are Lennox and Lincoln this morning?" she asked, and Bex thought she was acting almost too casual, like she was forcing it.
"Gewls is still asleep," Bex answered honestly. "Or trying to wake up. Not sure, actually."

message 1149: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (Ahh! I know. People are so rude.)

Kieera thought the idea sounded good. Maybe they would do that for Effie's birthday? Just to out get crazy and have a good time. Maybe she'd even smoke. Though Link smoked more than anyone else. Since Effie had left. Between that and being a lazy twat.
Zander sighed at the headmistress. "He wouldn't get out of bed. He said he wanted to see Effie before so that he would be more motivated." He felt his heart faulter. He kept his hand in Bex's so he could be there for her.
