Gewls felt the corner of her lip curl up into a smile. This would be interesting. Those boys were totally checking them out. "Think they will go?" She asked curiously, the answer already sitting I front of her. She took another bit of her plain salad, wanting to complain but she kept it in.
Zander leaned against the back of the time, a smirk on his face. "She's not that deadly. But I wouldn't screw with her." He muttered even though if he got the golden opportunity he would be all over it.
Link elbowed him. "For Christ's sake shut up?" He squared off his shoulders "sup?" He asked, trying to play it off cool. But he was far from it with the ranch on the corner of his mouth.

As Effie stood at the edge of their table, she chuckled lightly at the expressions. "Sup?" she mimicked Link with a smile, reaching over to wipe the bit of ranch dressing off the corner of his mouth and licking it off her finger. She winked at him before turning to Jack, since he was the only one she knew in the group. "The girls were wondering if you'd all like to join us in a... CoveOps extra credit mission, so to speak. It involves pizza," she said lightly, looking around at their expressions.
Jack blinked at her blankly before quickly shaking his head and turning to Ace. "What a coincidence," he said lightly. "We were all just thinking the same idea. But I don't know if we should let you tag along, Eff. You seem like an accident waiting to happen."
Ace smacked the back of his head to shut him up quickly, looking at this Effie girl who's eyes looked like they were already planning something. "When you say, 'the girls,' you mean all of them-" He pointed across the room at the three that were still watching them. "Right?" When she nodded, he quickly said, "I'm in."

Kieera heard her speak but didn't respond right away and when she did, she found herself slightly smiling, but it was so mircroscopic, nobody was positive with what was going on. "Thanks for letting me go." Was what she said before she moved back into her regular position. No one had ever invited her to do anything. Well, it all stemmed from the past. She was a lonely girl who though people would hurt her but thank goodness she had combat training. The best she could… when she wasnt failing.
Gewls couldn't help but bit on her lower lip, trying to remain casual. "They are coming." She said all mumbled and mushed together. At least she dressed somewhat cute with the uniform she had one. Had that not been the case she would have been begging her roommates to go back and dress up. They were probably going to do that anyways.
Link felt slightly embarrassed but didn let show. "That makes two of is and I know that Zan here is dying to get into the blonde girl's pants." He managed to cover his embarrassment by making Zander embarrassed and it worked incredibly well. Senior year was off to a great start and tomorrow they would stand classes up. Graduating and careers were so close together now m
Zander wanted to knock Link's teeth out bit kept a composed look. "See you babe's later." Was all he said before abandoning them for a group of other guys who weren't as popular but they knew more of his secret than anyone else.

Bex glanced back at Gewls before she looked over at the table, watching what they were saying. Lip reading had been something they'd learned as freshman, so secret conversations weren't always... secret. "Told you she's convincing," she said with a snicker, pushing herself up from the table. Time to convince their teachers they were going to bed early and probably change into something that was a little more appealing than the dark colored skirts and blazers.
Effie raised a brow in Zander's direction as he stood and left, shaking her head. "Her name is Bex," she informed Link with a chuckle. "And tell him I said good luck." She looked back at Jack, as the only one who hadn't given her an answer yet.
Jack eyed her for a few seconds before he reasoned, "Are you buying?"
The short-tempered girl picked up the knife he had been using to cut the chicken in his salad and drove it into the table between his fingers. "Does that answer your question?" she said harshly, watching the color drain from his face. "Get your little group together and meet us near the fireplace in the library." She rolled her eyes and turned to storm off, ignoring the face Bex was giving her. She figured she was going to get lectured for that later, but she didn't really care.
Jack swallowed hard before moving his hands, flexing his fingers though he could see he still had all five on his right hand, and pulled the knife out of the wooden table. "Don't say I didn't warn you," he pointed to Link with the knife while Ace let out a laugh.

Gewls watched Effie make her way back over to them as she pushed herself up and away from the table. "That's was so brilliant." She said with amusment playing in her voice. She could see how the boys were some what flustered. She went and put her plate elsewhere, before going back to see what was happening. She needed the details to determine how much time they had to get ready and what not. Her eyes remained on that group for a long time. She was pretty sure that one of them had peed his pants.
Link shook his head. "She almost kicked your ass for being stupid." He said to Jack. It would have been hilarious had that been the case but obviously he was still alive. Just a tiny traumatic event had taken place. Effie really was a dangerous woman that people needed to avoid if they wanted to survive. He glanced over to where Zander had gone running off to and wondered why he had left them. It didn't really make sense. But he was free to do whatever the heck he wanted. "I was fine with buying. I think you just wanted to see what happened if ya pissed her off. She could literally rip you a new one." He finished shoving the left off salad in his mouth. Before deciding he too would leave the table to go run or something to keep his mind off of the fact that pizza would have to wait. And he originally didn't want to even eat salad. He walked passed the four junior girls and have them a nod of the head. Before disappearing out into the hallway.

"Crazy," Bex corrected as Effie appeared beside them again as they all walked into the foyer, towards the staircase that led up to their dorms. "Definitely crazy. You can't go around driving knives through people's fingers when we're not in combat class," she told her, and Effie smiled.
"Don't question my methods. They're all joining us." She looked back at Kieera for a second, bluntly asking, "Was that tall one with the tattoos related to you? You two looked awfully similar." She started climbing the stairs, mentally searching her closet for an outfit that would suffice for tonight.
Jack shrugged at Link. "I'm well aware of that. I had self defense with her last semester. The first day we showed up she put Mr. Wilson in a wheelchair."
Ace laughed, pushing himself up from his seat at the table, glancing over towards Zander. He was trying to figure out why he'd gone over there, and who was going to tell him where they were supposed to meet when Jack said, "You go tell him the plan." Ace gave a nod and headed over towards him and the other group of friends he was around while Jack followed right behind Link, his hands in his pockets.

Kieera looked over at the girl, nodding her head. "His name is Zander… and he's my brother." She answered with distaste. Her brother was kind of perverted and even if she did love him she didn't very much approve of his choices in using woman. "I know is pretty impossible for such an outspoken person to be related to me, but it's very true." She couldn't even believe she had said that much.
Gewls shrugged, reaching up to fix a piece of her bun. "But clearly you get along." She knew she already liked her roommates and they would be a blast to get to know. Not to mention the guys with the rocking bods they were about to hang out with when they got pizza.
"I'm not going to screw with her." Link promised himself as he started walkig with Jack. "Could you imagine what the hell she would do to a guy who broke her heart? I would hate to experience that shit." But link… honestly wasn't looking for a relationship. He wanted to finish school and enter the CIA. Girls weren't very much in he picture.
Meanwhile, Zander was talking to one of the guys about this new website he had found, when he noticed Ace. He shrugged his shoulders, quickly shutting his mouth. "I gotta go. We will continue this later." He promised. "So what's the news?"he asked his roommate.

Effie gave a snicker, surprised that she'd said more than two sentences to her. She didn't know why, but she felt like she was on a mission to get this girl to open up, at least to her roommates. They were going to be living together for a year at least. "You sound like you're not a big fan of your brother then," she assumed as she reached the door to their room, immediately heading to her own bed, kneeling down to open the drawers and start searching through her clothes.
"Yeah, barely," Bex said to Gewls with a laugh, patting Effie's head when she walked past her. "What is everyone else wearing? I haven't been on a date in months."
Effie rolled her eyes, pulling out a short black pencil skirt before tossing it aside. "It's not a date."
Jack nodded. "It wouldn't be anything less than murder. And if you think about it, she'd be able to get away with it. We're all receiving training to be spies. She'd make it look like the perfect accident." He sighed; he would always hold by his belief that spy girls were not only crazy, but they were trained to get away with anything.
"We're meeting in the library after curfew," Ace told him, wondering what was so secretive that he had to stop talking to his other friends when he showed up. But he didn't dwell on it; the guy had a right to his privacy. "You coming or what? Oh, and that Effie girl said good luck with the blonde one. Bex, I think she called her." He let out a laugh as he crossed his put his hands in the pockets of his pants. "You missed it. Effie almost cut off Jack's fingers because he asked her if she was going to pay."

Kieera almost rolled her eyes but managed to invert her eyes to the ceiling, her face changing. "My brother was my best friend for a long time. But things change and people do as well." Like going from best friends to two people who knew nothing about each other. While her brother was off having a session, she would be sitting in her room playing with her razors. Another reason why she was okay with the whole wearing of the long sleeves and the blazers. "I'd watch yourself with him." She finally warned, going to her bed.
Gewls licked her lips impatiently as she sorted through all of her items. "We could potentially be setting ourself up for an extremely got date." She found a knees length dress, white lace. To accessorize she got a jean jacket. "What do you think? YAY or… nay?"
"That's why we should avoid that one." Link said with a sigh. The female mind was such an interesting subject that even the smartest and most brilliant man of all time could figure it out without having some sort of issue. It was some the whole point of everything. "So, what girl did you think was hot back there?" He finally asked. He honestly though that Effie was pretty hot but she was scary as ever. He could settle on another one to pick at in school.
Zander nodded, thinkin it was a brilliant idea. Curfew was such a long whole away though if you were hungry and craved pizza. He rubbed his neck. "Sound like a good plan." He felt his laugh in his chest when he began to take about how Effie was. "That would have been horrible for jack funny for everyone else."

Effie looked over at Kieera as she pulled a sparkly silver tank top, laying it over the black skirt. "Why do you say that?" she asked her curiously, doing her absolute best not to get offended. She could take care of herself, and she really didn't need the girl's opinion, but deep down she knew that was her temper flaring, and if she was going to live with her for a year, she wanted to at least be on level ground with her. She stared at her choices for awhile, trying to decide what it needed before Bex tossed her black lace tights on top of her outfit and smiled at her.
"Potentially," Bex agreed with Gewls with a nod. "Hopefully," she added and grinned. She cocked her head at the outfit before she gave a nod. "Yay. Maybe with some brown heels?" she suggested, shrugging.
Jack grinned. "Which one of them wasn't?" he murmured and snickered. One of the smaller ones, she had been almost as short as Effie he remembered. He just remembered her hair and eyes, how they almost matched. Just from across the room she looked gorgeous, but he had a feeling she was the shy type. "Why? Did you have a favorite?"
Ace agreed with a wide grin and nod. "It was hilarious. So you coming or what?" He started walking backwards slowly, his hands still in his pockets. He was eager to go occupy his mind with something to help pass the time. It was only the first day they were back in the school, and he was already chomping at the bit to get out.

Kieera brushed back her hair from her face. "All I'm saying is he can really hurt people who is close to him. I'm not saying you will get close or anything he's just…" she trailed off unable to figure out any words. If Kieera could she would make sure that no girl see fell for him. She watched tons of them get burned fr his asshole ways. She didn't want to see that for anyone else. She wanted to be a protector. "Never mind." She went back to her 'own' world. Not even changing out of her uniform. She didn't care enough too.
Gewls laughed quietly as if it had been a 'jinx' moment. "That's exactly what I was thinking."'she said pulling out some cute brown heels. She web to the bathroom and changed rather quickly to model everything for her roommates. They were fabulous at helping her.
"They were all hot. And Zan wanted to go for freshman." He joked, avoiding the question because he had already thought it over and wasnt going too again. They reached thir dorm rather quickly or time had passed by too fast. "Are you ready for some pizza?" He asked feeling his stomach growl.
"Yeah; I will be there." Zan promised as he glanced over his shoulder. He couldn't wait to to have some alone time. The guy was already looking for a girl to have some fun with before he went with the guys tonight. He was probably going to find an innocent sophomore since they had completely talked him out of the idea of a freshman. He was totally ready to have a fun night. "I will meet ya there." He was so distraught, he was sure they would catch on sooner or later. Sooner being the more positive answer.

Effie sat in a chair beside the fireplace, tapping her fingers on her cheek as she waited impatiently. The school was fully equipped with the best security systems on the market, except for their cameras. The night vision no longer worked, and wouldn't for a few weeks, so teachers had been assigned to patrol the campus post-curfew. And if the stupid boys didn't hurry up, they were all going to be caught.
"All I wanted was pizza," Bex whispered, pacing back and forth in front of the empty fireplace. "Yet this is turning into something I could get expelled for. Do you know what my parents would do if I got expelled? Chelle, do you even know where this passage way is? What if they sealed it up since last May."
Effie shot her a glare. "Stop doubting me and sit down before I tie you to a chair."
"Are you ready or what?" Ace hissed, glaring at Jack as he stood fixing his hair or whatever in the mirror. The guy was a total priss sometimes. "I've been craving pizza all night and something tells me Effie isn't the kind of girl to wait patiently for something." He snickered, remembering the incident at lunch.
Jack threw on a beanie as he shook his head. "She's not," he murmured to assure him, grabbing a jacket and standing beside Ace. "Alright, I'm ready. You guys good?" He looked back at his other two roommates, Link and Zan, waiting for them.

Kieera sat in the far corner, waiting to see what would happen. The guys were late and she wasnt very surprised because that's how her brother was. She crossed her arms over her chest, chewing on her lip. Her eyes brighter than usual. She could have been doing something else though. At least her roommates invited her. She stayed quiet. That's what they would want her to do anyways.
Gewls had gone all out as though she was going on a date. She curled her hair, and managed to wear a comfortable outfit so that if needed she could get away fast. She looked good for someone who didn't know if she was going on a date of not. "They will be here." She said positively. They wouldn't miss out on an opportunity to hang out with some gorgeous girls.
Link of course chuckled at the fact that Jack was fixing his hair then pulled a beanie on right after. Clearly he cared a ton to be hanging out with the girls. "Looking good. What are your thoughts? Think the girls spent that amount of time getting ready?" He gave him a cocky look before be even realized Zan was there. Of course he guy looked like he had just had sex which was great for him. If he already had a good time. Whatever.
Zander ran his fingers trough his hair once. "let's go." He spun to the door and started moving down the hallway. He knew the girls were already there. Mostly because of Kieera's text a couple hours before.

"Whoa," Bex whispered in awe. She'd never stop being amazed by this school. She glanced down at her choice in fashion, wondering if a white dress and red heels had been a good idea to go crawling around in cobweb-filled underground hallways.
Jack gave Link a light punch on his arm as he headed down the stairs. "I care what they think, so what? Don't tell me you don't think the same," he defended, jogging down the stairs two at a time.
Ace shook his head as he followed behind all four of them. "You just don't want Effie coming at you with a knife again," he muttered. Zander looked like he did usually: excited eyes and sex hair. Ace didn't judge; it was high school, after all. And there were plenty of hot girls around.

Kieera chewed on her lip. Effie was brilliant. She would admit that any day. The girl as a real fabulous lady and it hadnt surprised her because she had heard things but she really thought it was awesome she knew all this stuff. "Cool." She whispered, mostly to herself.
Link shrugged. It depended. If she was someone he felt like he needs to impress than it would get done. But obviously he wasnt too concerned. He had brushed his teeth and made sure he had deodorant so that he didn't smell bad. He didn't want to frighten them away with an unnatural smell of nasty. "Well good luck sealing the deal because all we are doing is buying some pizza." He said casually, finally entering the library. Only to see the girls gathered around the fireplace.
Zander reached the library minutes later, rolling his eyes a the two guys conversation. "Hello ladies."

"You're bloody brilliant," Bex said with a laugh as she patted Effie's head. Her best friend was wearing a skin tight outfit, one of her usuals, with her hair wildly teased and a cigarette tucked behind her ear. It reminded her of what she would find her in passed out on her porch steps in the morning in Bristol, before they even got to high school. She spun around at the sound of the boys joining them, offering them all a friendly smile. "I don't think we've all met yet. I'm Bex, this is Gewls and Kieera. And you all know Effie." She gestured to each of them as she said their names.
"Ace," Carter said as an introductions, his hands in his pockets as he gave a smile to the smaller one, with brown eyes that matched her hair. She had a cute face, and something told him that she was the shy type.
"I'm Jack," he said quietly, fidgeting with his black beanie nervously. He didn't do well in big groups of people, and he especially didn't do well with names. It took him weeks to finally remember his roommates' names when he first got the packet stating who he'd be bunking with, and he still had trouble with them.

Lennox-Gewls, gave everyone a smile. "It's nice to meet you guys." She said politely, noticing that Kieera was offish. The girl was such a sweetheart though. She really was. Just struggling. "Are you ready to go?" Maybe that would help. If everyone was actually out of the building.
Zander nodded at Bex. "Pretty name." He gave her a charming flash of his smile. His sister wasnt even in the room with them. That's how bad he treated her. Don't get him wrong. He did love her and thought highly of her because she was such a smart girl who didn't know she was smart. He just didn't think anything of it when it came o that stuff.
However, Link felt sort of nervous being with all those girls. "Sorry we were late. Mr. beanie over there had to get ready for the occasion." He teased. They were all hungry. And definitely need to get a love on with it.

Bex glanced at Kieera, hearing something off with her tone. She was shy, Bex had figured that, but something changed, as if the guys' presence set her off in a bad mood. She smiled at Zan's compliment before Effie so kindly interrupted with a groan and disappeared down the musty passageway. "Seventeen years old and she still has the manners of a twelve-year-old," she complained, rolling her eyes. She gestured to the dark hallway, offering to let Gewls and Kieera go first.
Jack punched Link in the arm once more before Effie ran off, raising a brow at her and then shaking his head. That girl... was something else. "It's rare that we get off campus. I definitely didn't want to be seen in that damn uniform."
Ace let out a deep laugh. "Yeah, that's the reason it took you a half hour to get read." He rolled his eyes, glancing at Zander. He definitely had his eyes on Bex, but he couldn't decide if Bex was the kind of girl to fall for the "Zander Charm" or not. He looked at the small, quiet girl again, Kieera. Her body weight had shifted, and it looked like she no longer wanted nothing to do with the guys.

Gewls waited until Link actually went in and then that's when she decided she could go. "So, who's ready for some pizza?" She asked, hoping to lighten the mood. The tension was so great she wasn't sure exactly what to do but be friendly.
Link glanced back at her laughing. "I'm starved. This moment couldn't have come at a better time. And maybe some garlic bread too." His mind wondered on thinking of food and his stomach couldn't help but feel like the world was ending.
Zander on the other hand waited for Bex to go through. He wanted to talk to her for a bit. Get to know her. She seemed like a pretty great girl. Too bad he was a shitty person. One of the worst to come acrossed.

Jack and Ace followed in behind Link, waiting curiously at the sound of something being broken at the end of the tunnel. When they followed the rest of them out, Jack kicked the now-broken grate and looked down at the weird girl who was staring at the sky. "Eff..." Jack said slowly, wondering what the hell she was doing, but was cut off when she reached over to punch his shin.
Ace laughed as he hobbled his way away from her. "You just need to avoid her at all costs."
Bex slipped in behind Ace, quickly making her way towards the end of the corridor. "You're Kieera's brother, yeah?" she asked, looking back at Zander with her big blue eyes. She vaguely recalled the detailed conversation Kieera and Effie had while getting ready about her brother, but for the life of her, she couldn't remember what had been said, other than they were related.

Link covered his mouth to muffle the sound of laughter coming out of him. "Did something happen between you two?" He asked, trying to figure out if she just all together didn't like Jack or what? He didn't understand st first but he assumed there was a major reason why she looked like she could kill him and not give a damn.
Zander's body became ridged for only a second. "Yeah," but after answering he was able to recollect himself in a stronger better way. "She's the youngest on our family. So how about you? Got any family anywhere fun?" He asked. Anything to keep him from the spotlight. Which he usually didn't shy from but this was a special case.
(Sorry about length! Next one will be better)

Effie didn't move from her spot in the grass as she admired the sky through the trees. She smiled lightly, reaching up to grab the cigarette from behind her ear and lighting it with a lighter she had in her boot. "He's trying to figure out what buttons to push to set me off," she answered Link for Jack before the kid even had a chance as she walked over to them, blowing a puff of smoke in Jack's direction. "You like pissing me off."
Jack waved a hand in front of his face, frowning at her. "What makes you say that?" It was true, for the most part. She was just interesting, and something fun to two with. Her reactions were always the best.
"Spy, remember?" she said with a smile, taking another drag from the cigarette.
Ace glanced over at Kieera, who stood less than a foot from the group of three that he stood in, eyeing her up and down with a grin. He wondered what she was thinking about, what was so interesting in her mind that she didn't need pay much attention to what was happening here.
"Half brother," Bex answered Zan, brushing herself off as she stepped out into the open air. "Scott. He works for the CIA." She gave a shrug. She'd never really known her older brother; he was five years older and hadn't lived with her and her parent for the majority of her life, so he wasn't a big part in her life. "C'mon, let's go before someone notices Effie broke something. Again," Bex said to the group and Effie laughed as she started walking down the hill towards the sidewalk that led into town.

Kieera arched her eyebrow perfectly when she noticed Ace staring at her once again. "Why do you keep doing that?" She asked, almost offended that he was watching her. It made her want to hide because she felt like she was on display, but of course she managed not too. She just stared back at him, trying to make him the same nervous she felt but it was t working at all. She knew it wasn't. Too quickly though, they were moving again. So she started to walk ahead.
Zander started walking with Bex. "It's okay though. Do you want to know him? Do you regret not having the opportunity?" He asked. Sometimes he did regret watching his relationship with Kieera stop bit she was so young to him now. Even if they were separated by a year. She was a slow learner and he was faster. They were completely opposites n

"Jack," he corrected, swatting her hand away and rolling his eyes. He started walking, following behind Kieera and Ace and matching his pace to Gewls. "Remind me your name again?" he said lightly, flashing a sheepish smile. "Don't take it personally. I couldn't tell you Ace's real name if you put a gun to my head." That wasn't a lie; he really couldn't remember his friend's real name.
Ace gave Kieera a crooked smile and shrugged, jogging to catch up with her while they walked. "You're pretty. That's why I keep looking at you." He wasn't ever really one to flirt; girls just didn't seem to be on the top of his priority list. But that didn't mean he couldn't acknowledge beauty when he saw it. And Kieera was a quiet beauty that wanted to blend into the shadows but ended up standing out.
"Meh," Bex said, matching her pace to Effie's so she could sling her arm through hers. She looked up at Zander and said, "Not particularly. I know he's there for me if I need him, but I've managed just fine on my own." She gave him a bright smile. "How many other siblings do you have, apart from Kieera?"

Gewls cocked her brow. "Then I won't tell you my full name so that you get confused. I go by Gewls." She could see the lights ahead leading down the road. She finally felt like she was hungry. She wanted good so badly and even a pizza wouldn't be able to satisfy. Maybe two though.
Kieera shook her head in disagreement. That usually didn't happen, but she might as well pretend. "Thanks." She said. Clearly not a woman full of many words to say. Maybe one day people would help her love herself the way she should but right then she just wanted to get some food. Maybe some chocolate.
Zan felt this pang in his head. How sad was it that his very own sister couldn't rely on him to he there for her. Instead he was too focused on himself. "Just Kieera." He answered casually. He wasnt in the mood to talk about his messed up family.

Jack nodded, repeating her name over and over again in his head to match it with her face. He didn't want to have to awkwardly ask for her name again. "All four of you are roommates, or just good friends?" he asked curiously, wondering how anyone would actually willingly be friends with someone like Effie. She was crazy, and it seemed like the rest of the girls definitely weren't on that same level of crazy.
"You don't believe me," Ace stated as she shook her head, stuffing his hands in his pockets while he looked at the ground. The majority of the girls at their school knew they were gorgeous; Kieera apparently didn't.
"She's a nice girl," Bex admitted with a smile up at Zan. "What other trivial questions would you like to ask me?" she said with a chuckle. She knew he was just making small talk, which she wasn't big on. She'd much rather answer weird, awkward questions that made people squirm or talk about some philosophical thing that occasionally bugged her mind.

Gewls kept her gaze in from of her as she walked. She could see businesses up ahead but they were still a bit of the way ahead. "Roommates. I know hat Bex and Effie are really good friends… last year I was rooming with two other girls who got expelled for…" she cut herself off. "How about you guys? All new to each other or friends for years?" She thought she heard something in the bushes that made her stop to look.
"Thanks for the compliment." Kieera said once again, her voice a lot more hollow than before but she managed to stuff her emotions down as usual, and put on a good actress face. "Are you excited to start your senior year?" She asked plesantly, pulling out a look of interest do that she didn't seem like such a jerk.
"Why don't you to ahead and ask me something?" Zander felt like this was a good way of getting to know a person but at the same time usually the guy was in and out of a girls life within seconds. He felt like this was the most awkward encounter he had had with a grim and he only made it worse by being a guy who was a jackass most of the time. He wanted to tell he he was sorry for being so boring. He just prayed this date would come to a close. It was the other guys who had shown interest in pizza.
(Idea: what if the next day at school during breakfast the headmistress and master get up and say that some students broke out of the school and will be suspended when they are figured out. But then some of them get thrown into doing a mission…?)

"Yeah, I kicked his ass," Effie muttered, brow furrowing as she glanced over her shoulder once more. She dropped her cigarette and dug her toe into it to extinguish it. "Wasn't hard. He underestimated me." She gave a shrug and smiled. That always seemed to be the problem, why she won the majority of the fights she got into. She was a tiny girl, the shortest in her junior class, and it didn't look like she could overpower anyone. That's where she had the upper-hand. "You guys are all roommates, yeah?"
Jack nodded, wondering why she stopped explaining the expulsion incident, but deciding it would be better not to press for answers. "Ace and I have been friends since freshman year, and Link and Zan are roommates for this year." He followed her eyes to the bush before shaking his head. No one would have followed them out from the school, especially not the teachers. The would have already gagged-and-bagged them by now.
Ace reached the door to the pizza parlor first, holding it open for her. He shrugged one shoulder. "I guess. Not really sure what I'm going to do with my life afterwards, but it'll be nice to get out of high school." He sighed. He really had no idea what he was going to do with his life.
"Why are you so uncomfortable talking about your sister?" Bex asked bluntly. She was a spy, they all were. Reading tells was part of their training, and if he thought he'd get away with no one noticing, he was oh-so-wrong. "You two don't get along much, do you?"

"People are stupid." Link could relate to her. Last year was his second year of schooling. He knew he was strong and capable of anything and so he worked his ass to get to the top. But others thought he was weak and so they would pick a fight against him. Of course they failed. He had injured someone so badly last year they had been taken home. It surprised him that people didn't know about him. But the teacher had kept it under wraps. "We are… just roommates."
"That's nice." Gewls thought really sucked that this year they had moved everyone around. But there were a few new people who needed extra training this year. Some like Kieera. "So what do you specialize in at school?" She asked, wondering if they shared the same interests.
"It's okay. Nobody really knows that." Kieera said with some sympathy in her voice. She walked into the pizza parlor inhaling the scent of fresh doe. Her stomach growled loudly. She hadnt realized that she was this hungry so it surprised her greatly to hear her body react that way. "That never happens." She whispered to herself. She are at least once a day and usually that would suffice but today her body was rebeling against her.
"My sister and I had a falling out." Zander said with a shrug. It was complicated. The moment he came to school and she had to follow him right away. She didn't need to know this. Or maybe it was the fact that she had caught him once upon a time. He should have locked the damn door that day. She hadnt said anything to anyone about it though because nobody had asked him. No one was going to change him.

"No friends then?" Effie asked sarcastically, kicking the door back open with her foot behind Ace and Kieera. "That's awfully boring, isn't it, mate?" She chuckled at Link, winking at him before she walked over to stand beside Kieera, deciding to give the quiet girl company. Effie wasn't hungry, though she never really was, so she just decided to wait in line with her friends as they ordered pizza.
"Alright, who wants what?" Ace said loudly to their group, waiting for the opinions of what should go on top of the pizza. He had a feeling there would be a few fights breaking out about this, but hopefully they'd all come to a middle ground.
Jack shrugged, wondering what it was he was particularly good at before he answered her. "Languages. It seems to be the only thing I can pick up really quickly at this school." He looked up at the front of the line, shouting back to Ace, "I'm good with pepperoni."
Bex stared at his face for a few seconds, pondering what could possibly be back in his mind that he was hiding. She glanced over at her best friend, knowing perfectly well the devious, small girl would be 100% okay with digging anything up on anyone, no matter the consequences, but she felt hesitant. She knew it'd be so wrong on so many levels to dig into someone's past like that, but she was curious. "I just like pepperoni too," she answered Ace.

Gewls thought it sounded neat. She wished that was something she had an easy time with. But computers were her thing. When she wasnt doing one on one combat. The only reason she was even good at the computers was being her step mom taught her things when she was growing up. That woman was probably her favorite person out of all three of her parents. "I like pepperon.i." She chimmed in.
Zander saw this glint in her eye but chose to ignore it because he didn't want to believe anything could happen to him. He just chose to believe that she would let it be. "I think the majority wants pepperoni." He looked at Kieera for a second before making a step towards her. His sister looked like a mess. But only he knew her background and even with that said he didn't know much. "Kieera likes cheese though." He said.
Kieera glanced over at him. "I'm not hungry." She replied almost bitterly. Bit
She wouldn't act like that around others. It was a family feud.

Ace smiled once more before order a large pepperoni and a small cheese while Jack practically ran past him to find a booth that was big enough to fit all eight of them. Bex followed their lead, and Effie wrapped her arm around Kieera's shoulders and brought her along to sit beside her.

Gewls sat across from a few of them. She wanted to get to know everyone. Well, at least much as she could from them. They were after all spies in training with a bunch of secrets. Her step-mother(basically really mom) and father were one of the trainers that came in each month to help students. That was just one of her secrets. "Have any of you gone on a real mission?" She asked with a shrug. Like it was no big deal.
Zander followed the lead and made sure he was one of the last to sit down. "Not yet." He admitted, looking over everyone to make sure that everyone but Ace made it over.
