Debbie Browdy Westerfeld masterfully wrote this series. The story covers a series of peer and social problems shared by teens, one of which is the need for perfection. The tale takes place in the future/dystopian setting. Absolutely Brilliant!

I hated Tally until the middle of the book. I'm not going to spoil anything in case some people haven't read it yet, but I just really disliked her. The thing is, you must take into consideration how she was raised and what she was raised to believe in.

I also loved how this book was from her perspective because normally it's from the perspective of someone who wants to start a revolution (e.g. Katniss from THG, or Tris from Divergent) and in this one Tally wants to stop Shay! I found it to be a weird and awesome twist.
