Don't Forget the Goodreads Recommendation Features!

If you're a Goodreads user, you're probably familiar with the Recommendations feature, where Goodreads suggests books based on your interests and books you've read in the past. Did you also know that there are other, more interactive recommendation features on Goodreads?

My two favorites are Ask for Recommendations and View Recommendation Requests.

Ask for Recommendations allows you to ask the entire site for new books to read, based on the criteria you list.

View Recommendation Requests allows you to see these Ask for Recommendations posts. You can browse your friends' and others' requests, read them, and them recommend based on what you've read!

Unfortunately, I think these features are sort of hidden away on Goodreads. I want more people to know about them! Why not give them a whirl?
