Raven- I smirk. "If you can catch me, that is."

Ruby- I looked down and walked away. He would be better without me. That was a proven fact.

Maggie- I smiled some. "I won't catch you because I know something you all don't including my brother" I said smiling. "I wouldn't be worrying about me catching you." I said and walked away.

Nick- I watch her go.


Raven- I spin on her brother, "What is your sister not telling us! You want whatever it is that you need us to find. But yet, your sister wont even tell us how to help Ruby! How can you expect us to trust you if she's unwilling to help us?"

Ruby- I wanted to cry my eyes out but I knew nothing was coming.

Hunter-"She told you want she thought if Nick left her then maybe it would show some feelings." I said.

Nick- I just stand there not sure what else to do at the moment, just hoping when I told them, that they would understand. And if they wanted me to find her, I'd still be able too.


Raven- "Then why did she have a bitch fit about it?! If it's as simple as that, and what is that thing that she wont tell us and will only Nick. That you don't even know!"

Ruby- I sat down just staring at the ground. My eyes watering from staring too long without blinking. I was hoping it was sign.

Hunter-"There isn't anything she wants to tell him. She wants to win him over." I said. I was getting tired of her. Accusing my sister.

Nick- I slowly start back.


Raven- "For what? A one night stand? Seeing as that's what it sounded like when I came up." I say looking over at Will to see what he was thinking.

Ruby- I stared feeling like it wasn't worth it anymore. I wanted it to end now. Maybe that was the solution.

Hunter-"Your so quick to judge people is it such a bad thing that my little sister likes Nick? Have you ever heard of someone trying so hard to get someone they like? I think you haven't" I said.

Raven- I shut up, glaring at him with my arms crossed for a moment. I still might not like her- or him right now for that mater. But I did know that feeling. Spinning on my heels and walking away.


Nick- I couldn't help it, I could still feel her. No matter how far away we where. Feeling her thoughts too. And right now they weren't looking so good.

Hunter-I glared at her as she walked away sighing as she did.

Ruby- I sighed getting up. I was alone it didn't matter. I loved him or I remember I do. I couldn't feel it though. I couldn't feel for him the way I should.

Nick- I think to her, 'I know you don't want to be with me, right now. But just please don't off yourself.... It would kill me if you did.' Hoping that she listened.


Raven- I look back once, as I walked away seeing Will still standing there. Just now realizing through it all he had been abnormally quiet.

Ruby- I heard him but didn't care. I saw a tree branch on the ground.

Will-"Raven don't walk away because of that"I said

Nick- 'Ruby?' I ask worried sense she didn't answer. Starting to head back to where he'd left her. Hoping she wasn't thinking of doing what he thought she was.



Raven- I turn around, to face him slowly. Debating. "Fine, but he says another word, and I will."

Ruby-I walked and picked the branch up. It wouldn't hurt. Then again i wouldn't feel it either. I mean would but at the same time i wouldn't.

Will-"You just atarted to run off becauae he didn't say something you liked or wanted to hear you cant do that.

Nick- I run back, just getting there in time to see her pick up the stick. Running over to her. "Ruby, just put it down,---- Please."



Raven- Why the hell not? I had always done that- or something close to that in the past. That was another reason why I didn't stick around. Or trusted people. It was just because people, mainly, hunters and humans along with a hand full of vampires just plain out sucked. "So what, he's talking about letting his little sister hook up with Nick. Even though he knows that he's mated to Ruby. And then he accused me of not knowing what that's like."

Ruby-I didn't say anything. "I said I didn't want you anymore" I told him. I closed my eyes pushing the stick through my heart. Though I missed my it by a few a inches. I felt myself collasped. I wanted to cry but i didn't.

Will-"Nick wouldn't have done that. You walked into a conversation that wasn't yours. Maybe if you didn't act insensitive to love then he wouldn't have snapped or said anything to you" I snapped.

Nick- I catch her as she falls. Laying her down in my lap, pulling it out gently. Hating it that she'd done it.


Raven- "Oh, okay then. Next time I walk into a room or anyplace else, I'll remember to keep my mouth shut."

Ruby- I wanted to scream out but I didn't. Nothing came out it. This was worse than having my feelings shut off. This was worse because I cared and right now it was hard to cared when you were numb that you couldn't feel but you knew how to.

Will-"I didn't say that. I said maybe you shouldn't walk into people's conversations. Nick can handle things on his own." I said. "You know what its no use talking to you."

Nick- I got it out tossing it to the ground a little ways away, looking down at her. She looked so pale... biting down on my wrist and then bringing it to her lips hoping she'd take it. Although she would heal slower without it seeing as she hadn't gotten her heart. Maybe that was a good sign that really deep down she didn't want to die. She just wanted this to stop.


Raven- I sigh looking between him and the hunter again. Then back at Will finally. Saying after a moment. "I'll meet you back at camp." Then started to turn and head back to where we'd been the night before.

Ruby-I didn't take the blood. I couldn't do that. He deserved someone who loved him. I do love him its just I don't feel it. That is the only thing that went through my head over and over again. And the hurt that Raven told him. I asked her not to. I felt a pain but at the same I didn't. I knew it hurt. I wanted to have my thoughts go away from this.

Will-"No we aren't leaving or separating its bad enough we need to find two people let alone lose you." I said. "Sticking together is the best idea."

Nick- "Come on, Berry. Take it, already. I know it hurts and everything. But I'm not going to just sit here and let you die. That's just not going to happen. If I have too I'll shove the blood down your throat myself." Okay that was going a little far but I wasn't going to just watch her die. No way. That was not happening. Not in this centray if I could help it

Raven- "Then do one of you have an idea on how to find them? Because right now I'm fresh out of them." Seeing as Nick had been my only plan on finding Ruby. And now Nick had ran off looking for her, so that idea was gone.

Ruby- I laid there not listening to him. He would be fine without me. He won't die he will move on to someone else who can love him. I have to let him go it was the right thing to do. I knew he thought I was dying and maybe hopefully I was. Then I would be fine I wouldn't be like this anymore. I would be able to feel again right?

Will-"Do you smell blood? That could be them. I say we follow the blood trail and if it leads to be nothing then its nothing."

Nick- I frown when she still doesn't take it. Opening her mouth a little bit and then letting the blood drip into her mouth that way. She could be dying, but it was unlikely seeing as she'd missed her heart. Wishing I knew what to do to make this thing inside of her go away. It didn't need to be there, and if I could take it inside of myself I would in a heart beat just to get her back.


Raven- I sniff the air a moment. Then catch a whiff of it. Nodding. "Okay, at least that's a start."

Ruby-I tried moving out of the way. I didn't want his blood. I hissed weakly. No more Nick. I had to stop thinking about him. Then it wouldn't hurt so much when I had to leave him. If I were dying that would be great but I wasn't. I didn't want him anymore. It was the best thing for him.

Will-"Let's go before the scent is gone." I said starting to walk fast.

Nick- I roll my eyes at her hissing at me. "Listen, if you want to be mad at me, fine. But I wont watch you die. Plus it'll help you heal faster anyways." Pulling my arm away and gently closing her mouth so that she had to swallow.


Raven- I nod, still mad about the whole thing. But this was one thing I agreed with him on. We had to find Nick and Ruby. And right now the blood was our only lead.

Ruby- I didn't want his blood. I spit it out at him. "I don't want you near me." I said weakly. "I don't want nothing to do with you." I tried moving away from him.

Will- I looked down sighing some.

Nick- I was able to duck the blood. Then move away from her. "Okay, okay. Just promise------don't kill yourself. No matter how bad it is." Licking the wound closed a moment later.



Raven- I frown as I loss the sent

Ruby- I looked at him. "No I don't make promises to people who are dead to me." I said. I found my hand reaching to the stick grabbing it. "Its going to be sad to see your one true love kill herself." I said. I was helping him. I used rest of energy to stab myself again missing my heart.

Will- I couldn't smell the blood. Then I smelt it again. "It smells familiar."

Raven- I smell it, sniffing at it. It did seem familiar.... wondering who it belonged too. Thinking back to where I'd smelt it before.



Nick- I don't say anything to her. Maybe right now that was the best thing for her, to be out for a little while. Seeing as she'd missed her heart again.

Will- I kept on following it. Soon we came to a girl on the ground and Nick. Ruby had a steak what appeared in her heart. "What happened?"

Ruby- He thought I was out. I had my eyes open and I was perfectly aware of everything. He just let lay here. Maybe he is finally getting the message.

Raven- I take in the sight, wondering what had happened. But had a feeling I already knew seeing as I'd tried the same thing when it happened to me. But not saying anything waiting for his answer wanting to be sure.


Nick- "She staked herself. It's the second time, it didn't touch her heart though. I can still hear it. It's faint but it's still beating." I tell them

Raven- I walk over and kneel next to her. taking her plus. Then looked up at the two of them. "She'll live, she wont be very comfortable but she'll live just the same..... the reason she did this--- Now I'm only guessing. Is because she couldn't take it anymore. She wanted out. And this was the only way she could think of to make the pain and everything else that goes with it away."

Ruby- She was wrong. I did it to get away from Nick. I did it for him. They were just going to leave me like this weren't they. I let my thoughts consume me. "Go away." I hissed to them.

Raven- I turn back to her when she hissed at us. "Not going to happen." I say simply. Then looked back over at them.

RAven- I nod, then sit down across for him. "It's going to be hard.. on both of you when we get her back. It is possible that she wont be the same girl you love. But-- there is a chance she will be." I tell him, feeling slightly bad.


Nick- I look between them nodding. "Is there any way to get it out of her? Without hurting her even more than she's already going through?" I ask wanting to know.

Raven- I swallow, nodding slowly. "There is--- but it's risky. At least the way I know of is. Maggie said she knew something about it, but it involves you staying away form Ruby. And after seeing this, I don't think that's the best idea right now."

Ruby-They weren't listening to me. They didn't care. All I wanted was him to go. I wanted him to start fresh with someone who can love him. They weren't going to listen to that though. All they cared about was making me better. I was better right? "Go away." I hissed again. They were going to make harder on me to go.


Will- "No Ruby we aren't going." I said this time figuring that the other two were getting tired of it.

Ruby- I pushed myself up taking the stake out of my body. "Honey I wouldn't be in this position if you kept your trap shut about me not feeling the same way about Nick. And the last time I check none of you knew what I'm thinking or feeling right now. And I'm not going to let someone like you betray me again." I said. "I'm leaving and there is nothing you can do stop me" I turned around walking slowly but dizzly. I couldn't really walk well. I had to leave Nick would be able to startover again and have someone who can love him.

Raven- I call out to her as she starts walking, seeing her stumbling a bit. "Actually- your wrong. I do know what your feeling, it might not be the same as what I felt when this happened to me. But I know how it is to feel so disconnected and lost. And just want to die so it will all just go away already."

I say looking over at her, wondering if she'd be up for it and what it would require.
