Ruby-"You could have wanted to start over to" I said. I looked down some. "You could have listened to me in tne first place" I shouted. "You may me remember the pain"

Nick- I run my hands through my hair and and pulled it a little bit. Not knowing what else to do or say to her to make her understand.

Ruby-Tears ran down my face. He could at least try to comfort me. "I could shut it off or erase them again." I muttered.

Ruby- "Stop" I whispered. "You are just going to hold me and try to make me better but your the one who casued my pain." I saod through tears. "I want you to be able to trust you but you are a lying little"I kept crying. I was letting my pain come out.

Nick- I stop. I didn't want to push her to far, to fast. Then get an idea... she might not like it, but it could work. "I could try and whip my memory, it wouldn't do much for you but then it would be like having just meet me again. I wouldn't remember anything."

Ruby- "Startover again" I asked. I turned around and looked him. Right now I looked fragile and broken and that is what I was. I sniffled some.

Nick- I hated seeing her this fragile and broken. But at the same time I knew that she wouldn't want me touching her and telling her that it wold be okay. Nodding. Ruby- I looked at him some. "We will end up together still?" I asked. I didn't want to lose him. I couldn't lose him.

Raven- I lick my lip then say "So.... what do you think is going to happen between them?"

Ruby- I looked at him. It will I know I would trust him. He didn't want to do it. Pain struck me. "Its okay"I said. I got up akd started to walk away.

Will-"I don't know hmmm I mean I would be upset if someone didn't do what I wanted them to do and betrayed me like that." I said. "But at the same time he did the right thing."

Nick- I sighed as he watched her walk away. Maybe he wouldn't have too. Maybe he could just pretend to do it, and not tell her but instead make it seem like he had. Seeing as that was the only way to remember what they were all here for to began with.



Raven- I consider that for a moment not saying anything as I thought about that. He did have a point, but at the same time... if felt wrong.

Ruby-I sat down crying. I justed wanted him back. I want to be able to trust him too. I loved him oh so much. I wipped my tears some he didn't care did he?

Will-"Do you not feel bad for her? I mean in away she lost the only person she could trust"

Raven- "I never said I didn't feel bad for her. I mean she lost her whole family, she's the only one left of the royal blood line as far as anyone knows. She's lost trust in her mate... and most likely thinks he's turned his back on her. If you ask me, I think she got worst hand out of all of us."


Nick- I close my eyes for a moment, pretending like I'm whipping my memory clean. Then start walking again, wondering if I could find her and ask something stupid. Like, what was the way back to the camping site that was close around here someplace, or how far away the road was or something.

Will- I looked at her and nodded. "Yeah true to that" I looked down some. "Its sad though that losing the person who love part and losong everyone you know" I said. "You two are alike more than you think "


Ruby-Tears kept coming though. All I wanted to do was have him back to trust him. Maybe I could wipe my memory to the part where I turn him and find he wad mate. I smiled some and did just that. I looked around some. Maybe Nick is somewhere. Nick I'm lost

Raven- I was staring into the fire that was almost burned out. But still paying attion on what he was saying. Looking up at the last part. "How do you mean?" I couldn't see it. In my eyes we where the furthest thing a like. Like Fire and Ice.


Nick- I hear her in my head, saying that she was lost. 'Don't worry, I'll find you.' I think to her knowing by feel that she'd whipped her memory again. Guess I wouldn't have to act like I had done mine. Starting in the detection I could feel she was.

Will-"You both lost your parents at a young age. You were all alone. And that makes you lose trust in people." I said. "In her case she was probably being strong for too long and then she broke. You try to stay strong for people." I said glancing up at her.

Ruby-Okay we have to hurry my parents will be mad that I turned you but again they should be happy that I found my mate. And now I don't have to act that I hate your human guts because your a vampire now

Raven- I hated to say it, but----- he was right. We'd both lost our parents, we were mostly both all alone. And now we both had a hard time trusting people. Just in my case, I'd lost control and killed my parents. Which was one of the worst nights of my life. If not the worse. For her, I didn't know how her parents died. But from the little part I'd heard Nick saying it wasn't her fault. But he was also right, you could only be strong for so long and then --- you just break. Like she had. Like I had, before I meet Will. But that was a long time ago, and I had promised myself as soon as I'd gotten myself back together. That no matter what happened in the fuitier I wasn't ever EVER going to fall apart and break again. Looking up at him again nodding my head. Not sure what to say yet.


Nick- So she had erased them to the part of where she remembered that we were meant to be together, but she still thought her parents were alive. Remembering this. It was the night she changed me. 'okay, I'll be right their..'

Will- I looked towards the fire. My eyes didn't move much. "Maybe once they get back here you could help her." I suggested. I sighed some. "Go back to sleep and relax for awhile. I will wake you up soon" I knew she needed time to be alone. I couldn't push her at all. That would upsetting. Someday maybe there was a chance for us. All I know is right now it wasn't the right time.


Ruby- I smiled to myself. I will be seeing Nick. I really liked him. I mean we are meant to be together. There is so much I still have to tell. I just hope things go well with my parents. I screamed a little. The pain I heard about how if your not with your mate the first few days after you find them you experience a lot of pain. I didn't think it was true. I wonder if he was feeling pain or if it was just me. He must be thirsty too being a new vampire and all.

Raven- I nod my head at trying to help her. I would if I could. But I had a feeling she wouldn't let me. Seeing as from what I've seen and heard from her so far she didn't like me very much. No matter how a like Will said we actually were. And no matter how much I agreed with him. If she didn't want the help I couldn't force her to take it. Shaking my head knowing I'd be getting no more rest tonight. "It's okay, you can rest.. I'll watch for a little while."


Nick- I walk into view a few minutes later having caught and fallowed her smell here. Wondering how much she remembered, Not a lot seeing as she thought she'd just turned me. Walking over and sitting next to her.

Will-"No my shift isn't over yet you rest." I said. I looked at her. "You don't need to protect everyone." I told her. "Laid down and get some sleep." I said.

Ruby- I looked up at him and smiled. "Nick do you feel that pain" I asked. "It hurts when your gone." I said. I laid my head against his chest.

Raven- I didn't want too, but it was the only way that he'd be happy. Laying down and closing my eyes trying to fall asleep. But at the same time knew that I wouldn't. I was just going to have to play at being asleep. Seeing as their was no point in getting into a fight about something so small.


Nick- I nodded, as I crossed the small space between us and held her as I sat down. Saying "I don't anymore though.."

Will- I sighed. I was afraid she was going to break or get run down.

Ruby-"That's right because we are right beside each other." I said. "Nick where are we? I have to get home to see my parents."

Raven- I tried to sleep. I really did, but I just couldn't. The vow that I'd made to myself so many years ago kept playing over and over in my head. And every time I thought I was about to fall asleep I'd get shaken awake by a sound or a thought. Keeping my eyes shut though through it all so that he would think I was asleep.


Nick- "In the woods--- we went camping with some friends, but it seems that we might have gotten turned around a bit. But I'm sure we'll find our way back soon."

Will- I wished I knew her when she was nice and trusted people. Maybe things would have been different. I sighed some. Hoping she will let me in someday.

Ruby- I nodded my head. "I don't remember leaving home" I said. "Nick we should get home to see my parents." I looked up at him.

Raven- At some point I must of fallen asleep without having realized it. But now I did-- as I jerked awake sitting blot up right. Looking around finally remembering where I was. Where we were. Pushing back down the tears that wanted to come and swiping angrily at the one's that had already fallen.



Nick- I sigh, "You don't remember?" I ask

Ruby-"No I don't Nick." I said. I looked at him and smiled some. "I like a lot though."

Nick- I laugh lightly when she said she liked it a lot. Saying "They went on a trip ---- they approved of us going on the camping trip although they were concerned about us going. Seeing as they were going out of town and weren't sure when they would be back."

Raven- I whip my eyes one last time, clearing my throat.

Nick- I smile, then peck her check. Deciding we could wait a few minutes before we started back. Seeing as she was so happy right now.



Raven- I sallow back the tears, making them go away. They had to go away. Answering hating how my voice cracked when I answered. "Yeah.. I'm okay."

Ruby- I smiled some more and relaxed. "I'm glad we are together right now."

Will-"Okay" I whispered. I didn't believe her but I didn't want to push her.

Raven- I sit up, bring my knees up under my chin. Thinking of how to start. Seeing as I just didn't know how to even start this.

Will- I got down from the log and sat near her. "Just take your time."

Raven- I take a deep breath. Finally coming up with were to start. Asking "Did, I ever tell you how my parents died?" I ask
