Nick- I turn back around so I was facing her again. Still running my hands through my hair. "I thought you were asking me the last time I called you 'babe' I didn't realize you were asking the last time I called you 'Strawberry' " I know it sounded bad. But it was the truth. I'd just grown so used to calling her 'babe' that I'd just assumed that that was what she was asking about. "And I've never lied to you.... no matter how bad it was or seemed to be, I never did. I know you think I have but I haven't."

"My nic name isn't babe" I said. "It never was" I looked up at him. "I don't care what you say. Its over" I whispered. Tears rolling down my eyes. "You aren't the person I thought you were."

Nick- Just as I went to defend myself and our relationship again. I heard a knock on the door. Knowing it had to have been the Hunter. Seeing as he'd said he'd be here soon. Sighing. "We'll talk about this later.." going to open the door.

Ruby- I walked out the door. "Come hunter lets get this done and over with."

Hunter-I nodded. "The other two are in the car."

Nick- I fallow her out, shutting the door. Getting to the car and getting in after her.

Ruby- I got into the car and saw a girl with black hair and other guy sitting far apart. I wasn't going to say anything as Nick seemed to want to chase me. I was trying not to get jealous of the other girl near Nick as I wasn't going to sit near him

Raven- I look up when the other two we'd been told about got into the car with us. Looking over at Will to see what his reaction to them was. Saying a short "Hi" to them before going back to thinking.


Nick- I frown at the thought of not finishing our talk before they got here. Now we couldn't because we weren't alone. Looking over at Ruby again.

Ruby- "Hi" I said. I looked up at her and smiled. "So we are under the agreement that we are going to set some rules." I said smiling. "First one I'm sure we all have our differences but I make the final choice. Second off I don't like fighting with people so don't try picking a fight with me." And don't touch or lay a hand on Nick I said this a little louder in my head Nick probably could have heard it. "Lastly we will not partner up. If we are too I will go with Nick and you will go with the other one."

Will- I raised by eye brow. Raven was going to say a few things to that girl.

Raven- I lift my own eyebrow. At the 'rules' she was trying to lay down. And I was sooo not cool with that. I mean Will and me had our own disagreements but at least we were willing to put them aside to help. This girl on the other hand.. uh yeah. Right. Knowing I was going to be having some series problems with her. "Okay, Mrs. I'm in charge. First of all--- we should all make the final choice together. Second- If you don't like fighting with people how about you stop trying to boss us around and then maybe you wont have to worry about that. And third. If we do have to partner up, for any reason at all. We should go with whoever we think can do the better job based off of what the job is." Rolling my eyes at the part of laying a hand on the other guy, named Nick.



Nick- I feel my eyebrows rise as the other girl starts talking again.

Ruby- I looked at her. "Lets just say this I am in charge. I been in charge or well suppose to be in charge since the day I was born." I said. "If you have a problem with me and the choices I make then go ahead have a problem, but I'm going to make the best choice I can for the vampire race. And not for what you or the hybrid or Nick thinks is right." I said. I didn't say anything at the last part. "You know what your right have whoever you want. Take Nick for all I care of course you would be having my trash." I said bitterly. I looked down. I didn't mean to be rude or snobby but everything was falling apart and this wasn't something I wanted.

Will- I looked at the girl and Raven arguing. "Last time I check no one died and put you in charge." I said.

Ruby- I was still sensitive about my parents dying it had only been a few weeks since they were murder. Flashes of the night came rushing in. Nick holding me. Nick was there. I trusted him then. I wanted so desperately for things to be better again.

Raven- I just stair at her for a moment. "Yeah--- cause you know sooooo much about what the vampires need out there. ---- When was the last time you where actually out there in the real world? You know? That place were every day life goes on." If she wanted to make chooses for everyone without actually knowing how things out there were like. Well we were about to have a big problem. Glancing over at Nick wondering what was going through his head seeing as he was suppose to be her mate. But so far I wasn't seeing it.


Nick- I clear my throat not sure what to say at this point. Ruby was still mad as hell at me. And now she was mad at this new girl. I had to pity her. Hopefully she could hold her own if it went that far.

Ruby-"The last time I was in the real world? Was I don't know? Hmmmm let me see yesterday. I know how things are for the vampires. I know that the hunters I spreading every single day. I know my parents tried their best to make everything perfect and better. Its kinda hard when there was more things happening then the Hunters." I said. I wasn't going to address the way she is talking me. "Vampires like you who don't know a single clue about what happens in a the royal community who doesn't know how hard we are trying to make things better for the community are the ones causing us to get killed." I said. "You will stop talking to me the way you are or we will stop this car I will get a stake and kill you." I wasn't afraid to. Nick didn't even say anything to me just stared like he was stupid and that made even hurt worse than I already did.

Will- Wow this was funny. "Raven just shut up this little royal brat isn't worth your time. She's a blonde so you may want to slow down on her"

Ruby-The other guys words stung.

Raven- I shake my head leaning back in my seat. Will was right, She was a royal brat of the highest ranking. And those kind of people I just couldn't stand. besides that she was blond. Which only increased her bratness. If she said anything else to me to try and boss me around though I was going to say something. Rather or not, she staked me or not. I was going to give it to her straight.

Nick- "Ummmm how about we just stop talking and try to relax for a while before we have to make a plan on how we're going to find it."

Ruby- They thought I was a royal brat and stupid blonde. That I didn't know what I was talking about. And Nick didn't say anything. I wasn't going to cry at all. "Listen up just because I'm a royal and blonde that doesn't mean I'm a brat." I said. "I'm not anything you think I am and you can think what you want about me all you want but your wrong" I said. "You 100% wrong." I looked down. "I'm just want to let you know I will be making the final choice for my people." I muttered. "You also can't say what I have dealt with or what I know. So next time you make a setrotypical statement then I will see my mood."

Hunter-"Okay settle down I know all you guys are having a problems. I'm dropping you guys in the woods with supplies and such at the place." I said.

Will- I didn't say anything.

Raven- I just look over at her but not saying anything. At this point it wasn't worth it. I'd rather just hold my breath than say anything to her about anything else. Seeing as it wasn't worth it anymore. Looking up at the Hunter that was driving us. Only saying "fine." when he told us that they were going to be dropping us off soon.

Nick- I look between Raven and Ruby. I felt sorry for Ruby, after just lossing her parents a few weeks ago and everything. But at times even I thought she could act like a brat. Not that I would ever tell her that. Seeing as after all of this was over she was going to whip my mind clean and send me away any ways.

Ruby- I sat there not saying another word. Nick must have thought everything these two said were true or he would have stood up for me. I guess he stopped trying to make things better with us. I was beginning to give up on love and all the jazz. Out of everyone here the only who I thought would say something in my defense didn't say anything at all.

Will- "So Nick why didn't you say anything to stand up for your mate?" I asked I was very curious. I mean if Raven and I were dating I would have said something but we aren't it didn't matter. Even if we weren't dating I would have said something if they said something about her that I didn't like.

Nick- I sighed loudly. Wishing this whole thing could just be done and over with soon. How could I answer him without seeming as if I didn't care anymore? There was no easy answer to that. I thought, looking around the back of the car that was seeming every smaller by the minute. Being careful about the wording, knowing if I made the slightest mistake in the wording she'd just blame me for everything else that went wrong on this. "Would you believe it if I said I didn't know what to say?"

Ruby- I tried not to listen what he was saying. It didn't work. I took a deep breath trying to focus on something else other than this.

Will-"That's kinda hard to believe because I mean your mate is a royal brat who is obvious a stupid blonde you thinks the world would bow down to her." I said. "I mean if someone called any of friends that I would say something unless if it was true"

Nick- I let out another sigh just a lot quieter this time. Knowing it wasn't anywhere good enough to believe. Finally saying something along the lines of defense. "She's not a brat okay? So stop calling her one, she might be blonde but she's not stupid either. I might not agree with some of the chooses she makes. But I do respect her chooses and her as a person."

Ruby- "Nick stop you don't have to say anything. Let them believe what they think." I whispered. "You believe what they are saying its no use lying to me"

Nick- I groan. "Do we really have to get into this now? If you want to think that's what I believe fine. But just for the record I don't believe that."

Ruby-"I can tell by your voice" I shouted.

Will-"I didn't mean to cause anything." I whispered.

Hunter-"You all shut up" I turned behind me to shout at them. Then I hit something. I serve and we hit a big bump and the vechial started to roll over and over again. I was worried about myself now. All the others are immortal.

Ruby-I felt myself hit the roof of the car with my head. I wanted to scream in the pain I was in but I couldn't. I closed my eyes and blacked out.

Will- I was afarid more so shocked. When the car stopped tumbling. "Raven are you okay? Is everyone okay?" I smelt smoke. "We have to get everyone out the car is about to blow"

Nick- I went to say something, then notice that just as he yelled at us to be quite the vechial flipped over. Grate. Now we might not get the info seeing as the hunter could die if he got hurt bad enough from this.


Raven- I didn't scare easy. But when he flipped the car, I let out a cry in shock. Not noticing that he'd hit something in the road until we were already rolling.

Hunter-"Is everyone okay?" I said okay Will was and Raven must be. "Nick are you Ruby okay?" I asked I didn't Ruby or him.

Will-I wiggled free using my strength to open kick the roof open. "Guys this car is about to blow I got a whole out can anyone not move"

Ruby- I didn't know what was happening. I did't hear anything at all. A small branch was stuck my stomach so there was a lot of blood not to mention I hit my head pretty hard.

Nick- "I'm fine.... Ruby?" I ask glancing over at her seeing a stick sticking out of her side. "Ruby?!" I ask. Picking her up and handing her out to Will. Letting Raven go next. before I climbed out myself. Seeing that at some point the Hunter had gotten out as well. "Come on.. lets get away from this thing before it blows then we can get the stick out of her side." Already starting to pick her up.

Will- I started to wonder into the woods. We soon came to a clearing where there is a stream. "Lets stay here for tonight we are far enough from..." You could hear a loud bang coming from a distance. "There we should be safe now."

Hunter-"I'm so sorry for doing that guys." I said. "Nick remember last time her body went into shock almost? I think her body is probably in shock that or she hit her head really hard."

Nick- I lay her down on the ground, to look at the wounds. "I think she hit her head... there's already a blue and purple spot forming." Hearing the big bang in the distance. Well their went the car.

Raven- I look around trying to avoid looking at Nick and Ruby. Not wanting to intrude. Going over to stand by Will.

Ruby- I hear muffled voices but couldn't pick out what they were saying. I wanted Nick where was he I couldn't sense him at all. I winced at the pain.

Hunter-"Raven and Will we will need to set up camp Raven I'm sure you might know some plants that can be used to dull the pain for Ruby?" Since she was the oldest vampire here. "Will and I will go get some fire wood and stuff to make a camp."

Raven- I look over when the Hunter asks me if I know any plates to help dull the pain for her. "Yeah, I know a few. Although I'm not sure I'll be able to find them in here but I'll look." I told him, looking over at Will when he added that they would go look for wood to make camp. Reaching out and touching Will's arm.


Nick- I slowly start to examine the place were the stick had gone in. Seeing it wasn't to deep in, but just enough to be extremely painful.

Will- I smiled some but not to much. "I guess I will see you when you come back" I said. I followed the Hunter to get some wood.

Ruby- I wanted to tell Nick something but I didn't know what it was. I wanted him to be there for me. I only hoped he was.

Raven- I stop him half way into the woods, having started that way myself. Reaching out and touching his arm again. Saying "Be careful..." before starting to head off to look for something to help her.


Nick- I start to slowly work it out. Being careful not to hurt her to much. Seeing as she was hurt enough as it was.

Will- I smiled. I followed the hunter. We got some fire wood. I hope Raven was there when we get backed.

Ruby- I started to breathe heavily. I wanted open my eyes and see Nick. I was shaking really badly. "Nick." I muttered.

Raven- I was able to get a few things that I knew would help. Starting back, to camp, wondering if Will was going to be back.


Nick- "I'm right here Babe. Okay, just hold in there."

Raven- I look up when I see people coming up, seeing that it was Will and the Hunter coming back with wood. Smiling at him as he comes out of the tree line.


Nick- "I know Berry, I know." I tell her reaching down and taking her hand, while I pull the rest of it out.

Nick- I hold her hand as she talked, "Not planning to, not ever," Looking over to see if Raven was done with the plants and were ready to give to Ruby.

Nick- "I know, you hit your head hard, when the car rolled." I tell her.

Nick- "Just try to relax and try to rest...okay." He said as he looked over and see that she was finally done with mixing up whatever she was that was going to help.


Raven- I finish mixing it then take it over to Nick. Starting to put some on her head where she'd hit it. "This should help, with the pain."

Ruby- "I....." My voice was cut off by exhaustion. I fell into a deep sleep.

Will- I built a fire. "So we should have someone stay guard"

Nick- I watch as she falls asleep. Wondering what she was going to say before she fell asleep. Carrying him over to sit by the fire. Resting her in my lap once we were over there.


Raven- "I'll stay up." I say sitting down by the fire.

Ruby- I curled into him shivering some. My faced paled since I hadn't ate in awhile. Nick needs to get some blood in him too. I was worried abiut him but I was to tored to aay anything.

Will-"Okay let's break into shifts"

Nick- I watch, almost getting sucked into how it looked. Only to hear my name. Looking up asking "What's going on now?"

Raven- I look over at Nick and Ruby. Seeing how close they really where for the first time. Wishing i could have that with someone
