Guy- I flash the stake around and plunge it into her right below her heart, but it would still knock her out for awhile. Before steeping out from behind the tree.

Ruby-I looked down at me. I felt a sharp pain. I collasped on the ground. Hearing a loud thud. I was going to die. I felt bad I wanted to say sorry to him but nothing came out as I closed my eyes. I was going to die and he would hate me. I felt my heart slow down.

Nick- I start freaking out. When I see her hit the ground. Not knowing what was going on.. Seeing someone walk out from behind the tree that we'd been leaning against. "What the hell?!!" I yell at the guy assuming he'd been the one to stake her. Then thought of something else. What if he'd gotten her in the heart? She was going to die!


Guy- "Don't worry.. she'll live. I didn't price the heart. She's just knocked out. Seeing as I came here to talk and not get eaten. But as you could see..... well yeah. I thought it was best to try and talk to you before ---- well you know."

Nick- I stair at the guy not knowing what to say.

Ruby-It wasn't the fact that he stabbed me. Most hunters had posion cloated steaks that killed vampires but this one didn't seem to have much of it just enough to stun me. The only problem was is that I couldn't breathe and I kept gasping for air. That would seem to be a problem. I couldn't talk or say anything nothing would come out of my mouth.

Nick- I finally came to my senses. Well as much as one could when you just saw your girlfriend get stabbed by a hunter only to hear that he just stunned her and not killed. I mean, come on! That just wasn't normal! At least in my terms it wasn't. Finally saying "Fine. But lets take this back to the house so that no one comes across. And so that I can give her something to put her to sleep so that she doesn't have to keep the stake in her chest any longer."


Guy- "Okay fine... I can deal with that. Besides it's probally more privet at the house so that we can talk without being over heard." I returned. Shoving the other stake I'd been hiding behind my back; back into my boot. Then standing back up. "Lead the way.."


Nick- I keep an eye on him a moment longer. Then lean over and scoop Ruby up mossining with my head for him to go first. Before starting to lead the way.

Ruby-I feel him pick me up. I started to come to my senses a little bit. I heard that he was going to put me asleep. I didn't want to be asleep. I was part of these as much as he was. I made the choices not him. I was hurt he would even consider this. "No." I muttered softly. I moved to my arm trying to get the steak out of me. I wasn't going to let someone who didn't even make the choices when I was suppose to. Of course I'm the bad person. "Don't take him to my house." I hissed softly.

Nick- "Okay,---" I tell her shifting her slightly chancing dercetions. Leading him to mine. Not saying anything for about a block. Then stop and hand her over to him so that I could get my keys out and open the door for him. Sensing that no one was home. They'd all be at school or work or out someplace else. "Take her upstairs. Frist door on the right.... I'll be up in a minute." I tell him, going to get some things before fallowing him up the stairs.


Guy- I do as insturceted. taking her up the stairs and then into the room he told me to. It had to have been his seeing as the house I'd been at eailer had been much bigger and stuff. Plus it looked more like a guys room then a girls,----- a vamp girls at that. I thought. Steeping back from the bed as he came in.

Nick- I walk in a moment later, with some stuff to heal the wound. And some stuff to put her to sleep for a while, Or at least until we could talk some. Looking over at him before looking back at her. Asking after a moment "Can I take the stake out without hurting or killing her?"

Ruby-I looked at the things. "No sleep." I whispered. "No sleep." I keep saying I didn't want to sleep. I wanted to be there for the talking. He wasn't going to listen to me I had a feeling about that. I felt like curling into a ball. I couldn't really move at all. The pain was unbearable. I can't believe he let me be carried by a hunter. I can't believe all of this.

Nick- I glance back and see him nod. Starting to take hold of the stake, to pull it out. Saying quietly to her, "I'm sorry but this is going to hurt...." Starting to pull it out. Furggering I'd try and talk her into not killing this guy if she was their for the talking. Seeing as I didn't want to deal with another dead body. To deal with.

Ruby- I screamed loudly at the pain. It hurt so much. I couldn't take the pain. I started shaking a little bit as the pain started to dwindle some. "No sleep I said." I was weak and tired but I wanted to hear this guy out before I killed him.

Nick- "Shhh... I know honey. It's almost out, I wont give you the sleep stuff though." I say as it comes out. Tossing it to the side of the bed, before sitting down on the side of the bed to help her sit up.

Ruby-I let out another scream again. "Please don't leave me" I whispered. "No sleep tell him he better speak or dead."

Nick- I gather her into my lap, "I'm not going any place.... your fine." I tell her glancing over at the guy. "You better start talking unless you want her to start eating you again." I say holding her.


Eric- "Okay. Okay. I know this is going to sound crazy but we actually need your help. We need you two to help us find something. ---- We're also trying to get in contact with two others that we want on the same case as you guys. Unfortalnly I cant tell you what it is; until you guys give rather or not you want to help us or not. I know you have no reason to help us seeing as we are vampire hunters and all. But we'd like it if you would at lest think about it."

Ruby-I sat on his lap snuggled him."Don't leave me." I whispered softly. I was tired and I nodded my head slowly. "I don't think your telling the truth I don't trust hunters all you do is kill our kind." I whispered. "Tell me one reason why I should let my vampires and me help you." I asked. "If you can't tell us why then I don't trust you."

Eric- "Because, we need the help so much that we agreed that if you help us on this we'll cause no harm to your kind. No hunting them. No killing them. Besides, it's no your vampires we want, it's your help we want."

Nick- I look between her and the guy--- Eric I think he'd said his name was. Wondering what in the world they were looking for but couldn't find that they need our help finding.

Eric- I sigh. "Because like I said ealier... we've come to a turse. And promise not to kill or any other forms of hurt your kind. And also only one of the rolye family along with her companeion can help find what we're looking for. Along with a vampire of there own right. And also a half bread. In other words--- a hibread. Half vampire. Half were. They are the only 4 that can find what we seek."

Ruby-I liad there limply. "Help." I whispered as I heard my heart slow down slowly. I couldn't move my body at all.

Nick- I don't wait for him to answer the question. I just bite my wrist and hold it to her mouth so that she could drink. Hopefully that would help her heal. Other than that I didn't know what else to do for her. Maybe if I could furger out what kind of Poison he'd dipped the stake in then maybe I'd have more luck healing her.

I took his wrist and didn't let go. Blood that was all I could think about now human blood. A few seconds into drinking I begin to get sick and pushed him away. I could barley keep the blood down

"It was a mistake okay. I know who she is. It's sad you would rather flip out on me instead of taking care of your dying girlfriend." I said. "Listen if she makes out of this alive she won't be the same she will either shut off her humanity or be a crazy person. Basically the poison makes her want things she wouldn't normally want but thing that kills them is the part where they need to feed but can't." I said and walked out.

Nick- I let out a low and somewhat threatening sigh. As he walks out. Yeah just what she needed. Just what we needed. Ruby-I bit down on his wrist drinking as much as could then I felt sick again and I pushed him away. I spit the blood up. I was shaking. "Help."
