onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon nodded her head a little bit. "Brother where exactly is home?" She tilted her head. Fighting Delilah, and then taking that much power in her did a number on her mind and body. "Do you think Nickolas will be mad for me taking in the darkness?" Avalon was so close to falling asleep, but she wanted to be in Nickolas's arms. Another yawn escaped her mouth. "I'm glad I have your brother."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments "I'll get us there... it's a little town, I haven't been their more then a couple days now but I can see why the two of you picked it." He told her. Squeezing her hand gently knowing she'd be falling asleep soon. "No, I don't think he'll be mad at you, just greatly worried possibly. And I am glad I have you sister." Then closed his eyes and pictured the house, the living room. Before feeling them both start to vibe there. Landing on the couch a few moments later with her head in his lap. "Welcome home sister.."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Brother, why haven't you been with Nickolas and I? If I just killed Delilah, I would have never let you out my sight." she was fighting to stay awake. When James said she was home, she wanted to sit up and look for Nickolas, but alas she had no energy for that. Something felt different about the house. "It doesn't feel like home though. Can't we go back to the castle?"

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments James knew that she didn't understand due to the memory gaps. "I was with the Guardians up until a couple days ago when you called me an asked for help defeating Delilah. No, the castle is in no shape to live in right now, I'm afraid. Rest. I'm going to go find Nichol's. I'm sure he'll be happy to see that we're both okay, especially you." Starting to lift her head the slightest bit so that he could get up.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon wrinkled her forehead trying to remember him leaving. "That doesn't make any sense on why I would let you leave with Delilah on the run." She shook her head. "Brother Nicholas probably sensed our arrival. Why do you have to go find him." Another yawned escaped her mouth. Avalon was so tired that her eyes closed for her. She didn't want to sleep, not until she Nicholas, but the sleep already beckoned her.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments It wasn't the fact that he had to find Nichol's. It was the fact that he was running out of things to tell her in her tired state. Things that wouldn't make sense. Resting a hand on her forehead just as she went to sleep. "Shh, we will talk about all of this when you wake, dear sister."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon smiled as she fell into a deep sleep. The next morning, the sun peaked through the windows. She opened her eyes, and stretched her arms. Her eyes glanced around the room. It felt like she been in this room before now, but she would have remembered a room this beautiful. James told her Delilah was gone once and for all, but why was the castle like that? There was no body in the room she was in. Taking a whiff of air eggs, bacon, and waffles. Avalon saw her reflection, she was wearing pjs. "I wasn't wearing this outfit? Who changed me?" Her smiled curved down.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments James had changed her into some of her pjs, after she'd fallen asleep thinking she'd be more comfortable that way instead of staying in her clothes that she'd worn to fight Delilah in. While they didn't have blood on them they did have more then a few stains. So had thrown them in the laundry room to be tended to later. This morning he'd been the first up. Assuming that Nicholas had slept in some before going to check on Avery. Seeing as he had heard Nicholas up a lot last night checking on them both through out the night. As for Blake, Will, Justin, and Raven.. Well he wasn't sure about the three in the guest house, but he had known Blake had also been up for a great deal longer then normal for him last night. So this morning he'd gotten straight to making breakfast. For everyone.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon opened every door in the bedroom unsure, which one led to the kitchen. She peeked her head out of one that led to hallway. She heard voices downstairs, both seemed familiar, but foreign. Avalon bit the inside of her cheeks, and started to walk down the stairs o where she smelt the food. Avalon saw little girl sitting on a bar stool, and a man cooking."Are you the chef we hired?"

"Mommy you're awake!" Avery said with a smile.

Avalon's eyes widened. "Ummm I think I'm at the wrong house, so I am going to leave. I don't have a child. I would remember having a child."

Avery started to cry, she didn't understand what was happening. "Uncle Blake, Mommy is broken."

"I didn't mean to make her cry. Nicholas will help her find her mother." Avalon said really confused. Part of her felt like she should comfort the little girl, but that would be insane.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Blake had been told of the slight memory loss by James the night before. However, he had either hadn't bothered or forgotten to say that Avalon had forgotten she had a child. Setting down the plate he'd been carrying to go to Avery's side. Wrapping her up in a hug, to help comfort her, before shooting a look across the room to James. "I've got this.."
"You better." Blake said in way of Jame's words.

James walked to his sister's side before she could head for the door. "I can assure you, you don't have the wrong house. I transported us here the other night. Come. We have a few things to talk about.." He coaxed. Leading her into the living room just as he saw Nicholas come down the stairs.

Nicholas had come down the stairs after washing up. Even though he'd made the transformation into Nicholas and not just Nick anymore. He still remembered Avery and loved her. Still did all the same things they used to do together. After he had gotten her and brought her home safe and sound, they had spent some father - daughter bonding time together. He'd assured the others that they were fine and that they were open to do what they wanted for the rest of the day seeing as he'd be spending it with his daughter. Looking up as he saw movement, an saw that it was James and Avalon coming into the living room, feeling a smile break across his face. "How are you two this morning?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon looked at James and titled her head. "I don't have a child, and the man in there seems to rude to be a chef. He didn't even say hello or acted pleasant to see me. I never did anything wrong. I am 110% sure I don't have a child." As soon as she saw Nicholas she broke from her brother's side, and practically tackled him trying to hug him. "Nicholas." she whispered softly against his chest. "There's strange child in the kitchen, looking for her parents. I said you could help the child. James is being ludercais thinking I have a child. In order to have a child, you have to sex. We did not have sex. I would remember that. I would never have let James leave when Delilah was threat." Tears started to roll down her cheeks. "Can't we go back to the castle?" she asked one last time. Everything was overwhelming for her at the moment. That nagging feeling that she was missing something important was back.

"Uncle Blake, maybe Auntie Raven can fix mommy. Auntie Raven is a good healer." Avery didn't really talk about what happened while she was gone. "Or maybe Justin's healer?" Avery may understand a lot, but she didn't get why her mother was acting this way.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nicholas had sensed when the two had arrived back last night but had been too tired to go down and welcome them back. Seeing as after getting Avery to safety back home and comforting her enough so that she could sleep for the night it had warn him down quit a bit. Although he was more then happy to see them both now. Even though he had no idea what she was talking about, considering he didn't know about what had happened an he remembered Avery. Looking across the room to James over her head as she rested against his chest. They most deffetally had a lot of catching up to do. Kissing her forehead gently, before leading her to the loveseat and sitting down with her in his lap. "Love, I think you might be having a bit of memory trouble... No we can't go to the castle, maybe one day we can go and start fixing it up." he told her gently looking to James to see if he was on the right track about the memory loss.

James only gave a slight nod to Nicholas to clarify that he was right about the memory loss. Going and sitting down across from them in one of the chairs. Seeing as he to had some explaining to do to Avalon. This wouldn't just take Nicholas. It would take both of them.

Blake wondered about what had happened to her while she'd been gone but she never talked about it, and he didn't want to push her. Thinking that maybe she just wasn't ready to speak about it. "Maybe, we'll ask Raven over breakfast, if she knows anything to help. Would you like to go let them know that breakfast is almost ready?" He asked wanting to get her mind if only for a moment off of what Avalon had said.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon looked up at Nicholas with confusion all over her face. Memory loss? "Memory loss? But I remember who I am, and you guys." Biting the inside of her cheek as she started to really think about. "I just defeated Delilah after her killing you? But that's not possible because you clearly didn't die. And James was just a boy, but maybe it's something werewolf." Avalon was trying to debunk the theory of memory loss, but she felt like something was missing. Her happiness quickly turned into sadness. Then a loud knock at the door snapped her out any thought.

"Ruby open the door. I heard you got Avery back, and I have these papers to get the crown from you, and Avery. I am required to show you them." Rose hissed.

Avalon frowned someone wanted a crown. Was it her crown? Was she in with Delilah? She flashed to the door. "There is no Ruby living here, but you after a crown, so that means I need to eliminate you. No telling who sent you. Are you one Delilah's henchman?" She snapped dragging Rose in by the arm.

Avery looked at Blake and nodded. "Okay." she grabbed her stuff elephant and skipped to the guess house. "Auntie Raven, Justin, Will. Uncle Blake made breakfast, and its ready." Avery wanted to stay out here as long as possible. Despite talking to Blake, she overheard the conversation between her mother and father. If her mother really did have memory loss it would explain a lot. "But I would stay out here for a few more minutes. Mommy's sister Rose just came by, and Mommy isn't to happy right now." Intentionally leaving out the part of the memory loss.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nicholas remembered Rose. she'd been a problem in their side for far too long. Although he wasn't about to step in and stop Avalon either from eliminating her. Seeing as from where he stood it was far over due. Simply just allowing it to play out. But kept a close watch on the situation should he need to steep in. Standing up just in case he needed to move quickly.

James didn't know Rose. Although he was assuming that it was Ruby's sister. One of her sisters. Personally James had never meet them, he'd only seen two of them when they were just babes. Newly born into this world, because their parents had invited him to come over and do a check an make sure they were truly vampires unlike their first born. Before he had left again afterwords.

Raven had gotten up some time ago having smelt breakfast all the way from the guest house.Going and answering the door when she heard Avery from the other side. Hearing the boys starting to stir in the other room. "Thank you, we'll be there in a few. You wanna wait here with us and we'll go back together?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Rose eyes widened. "Hey Ruby, calm down. No need to get upset. The Elders will decided what's best." Avalon laughed because she put the Elders in charged of the vampires. The guardians over werewolves.

"Again there is no Ruby living here. If your threatening me with the Elders. I will destroy them in a second. Now who are you?" Avalon threw her against the wall. "A vampire." materialize a stake in her hands.

Rose eyes looked at Nick. "Nick are you just going to let her kill me? I know I'm not the nicest to you guys, but killing me isn't a solution."

"That guy over their is Nicholas." Avalon said she was ready to kill this stranger.

Avery nodded her head. "Yes please." Was all she could say. She heard what was happening. Was her father just going to let her mother kill her sister? "Auntie Raven, daddy is going to let mommy kill Aunt Rose? Can you please stop them?"

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nicholas rolled his eyes. Clearly when it in her best interest she was willing to play nice. Steeping forward to touch Avalon's shoulder. To halt the killing for a few moments at least. "Tell me why I shouldn't, and maybe we'll let you live. But. If we let you live, you will not be coming around here with papers for us to sign to hand over a crown or be coming here to cause anymore trouble. Do you understand?"

Raven opened the door wider for Avery to come in, glancing at the house, wondering why Blake or James hadn't steeped in. Considering if Nick was so close to letting Avalon kill Rose. But either way gave Avery a nod after looking to the house. "Yeah, I'll go stop it... tell you what. Why don't you go make sure the guys are up, and if not pounce on them? By the time their up and dressed if they aren't already you guys can come on back."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Rose looked at Nick for a second, something changed within him. Something was not the same."Because if you left her kill me, when whatever is wrong with my sister is reversed she will feel gulitly." Rose pleaded with him. "I understand my sister has a past life, but she is still Ruby. Ruby cares about family no matter what. Nick I don't know what is wrong with you, but you don't act like that."

Avalon looked at the vampire. Nick sounded so familiar, why did that name sound familiar. Her eyes turned to Nicholas he wanted to the vampire dead for a different reason than her. It was quite obvious she wasn't after the Earth Princess crown or even working for Delilah. Why would Nicholas let her kill someone, who committed no crime? "The way you are talking to her it's clear she's not have the Earth Princess crown and she's not working for Delilah. Nicholas why were about to let me kill her then?"

Avery smiled. "Okay Auntie Raven. Please make sure mommy is okay. Maybe you can help mommy." she skipped in the house and ran to Will and Justin's room. "Wake up wake up wake up. Breakfast is done." Avery giggled. "There's bacon, eggs, and waffles."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nicholas gave one slight nod to Rose before answering agreeing with that. Ruby did care about family and would feel guilty. If she ever went back to being Ruby an not the Earth Princess. She would feel guilty and hate herself for killing her sister. "Fine. We'll let you live. But if you come back around here causing trouble and asking for things that are't rightfully yours or trying to gain them other ways. Make no mistake, we may not kill you but I will be sure to make your life hell." He told Rose in no mood what so ever to deal with her any longer. Turning to Avalon then. " Because, while you were still Ruby and not Avalon as you are now, she's done some--- rather ungrateful and shall we say possibly unforgivable things."

Raven assured her that she would watch out for Avalon before dashing to the house an going in the back door, listening. Then heading to the living room when she didn't hear anything but talking. Seeing that Blake had been busy setting the table an putting the food on it. And James seemed to be just watching the thing play out unsure how to go about it, let alone know who Rose was.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon looked at Nicholas. "Great your started on the Ruby thing too. I'm not Ruby, I am Avalon. I never been Ruby." Avalon snapped looking down. "You just seem a little colder, Nicholas," she whispered softly. Nicholas did seem colder than she remember. "I mean you were only gone for three days. I don't know what happened." Every single second it seemed she was losing a part of herself more and more. She forgot about the possibility of memory loss. Avalon wanted to go back to the castle. "Can't we go back to the castle?" she forgot that she just asked this same question. Her eyes caught the glimpse another person. "Brother doesn't that girl like grandmother's appertinence?" Pointing to Raven.

Rose looked at Nicholas. "It sounds like you are trying to abuse the situation just to get rid of me. You act like you are doing me a favor, Nick. May be you should have pretended not to know, who I am." Rose said and walked out the door.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nicholas was more then happy to see Rose go. And hopefully never return. Not even bothering with watching her walk out the door simply turning to Avalon reaching out an cupping her cheek gently. "I'm not starting on anything love. But whatever you did to defeat your sister, while you guys where gone it must of caused something to chance within you.,.. I'm trying. Really trying to recover from being with Opal and Delilah for even those few days. But- I'm not ready to talk about what happened. Not yet anyways. " Looking up when she caught sight of someone else, seeing that Raven had come in.

James turned to look to the new comer. Assuming that this was Raven. It would make sense even though he had never seen her before but she was the only new comer they'd had since this morning. Plus he had recognized her presence when she'd come in the house just as he had this morning when she'd arrived. Looking her over now, she did have a look about her. Almost the same face as their grandmother that had passed away more then a thousand years ago now. "Yes, she does slightly look like grandmother used to."

Justin an Will had gotten up after Avery had come an pounced on them each in turn. Getting dressed quickly, before asking about breakfast. Seeing as Raven must of gone to the house already to take care of some things. "So, we ready to head over for breakfast little one?" Justin asked, hearing an he was sure the others heard his stomach growl at him.

Raven hadn't needed to steep in after all thankful that there had been no blood shed. Frowning however when she heard Nick and Avalon-- Ruby? talking. Before Avalon had caught sight of her and asked who she supposed to be James if she looked slightly like their grandmother. Bringing her eyebrows together as he agreed. "I- um. Hi, I'm Raven. I arrived this morning to help with stuff."

Blake steeped out of the kitchen an announced that breakfast was finally ready, an on the table. Guessing that Avery and the boys would be here in a moment or so. Before heading back in.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon tilted her head. "You were with Delilah and Opal?" she asked softly. "But I thought you left to go on a trip to secure the borders? When were you with Delilah and Opal? Did they do something to you? Is that why you took so long to get back." she asked worriedly. "Nothing has changed with me. I'm still the same." She looked up at Nicholas confused. Raven? That name sounded familiar, but she never knew a Raven. "Help with what? Are you going to help the Castle. I really want to go back to the Castle." Then the chef guy started talking about breakfast.

Avery nodded and darted back in the house. "Auntie Raven, mommy is broken. Please fix her." Avery said softly. She knew Raven was good at healing, so maybe she could fix her.

Avalon looked at the little girl, still taken about the word mommy. Her head started to hurt. "I don't have a child I would remember having a child," tears ran down her face. "What's wrong with me?" she stammered. "Nicholas, I feel like I'm losing myself each second. Please make it stop." Avalon winced as her head started to pound. It was becoming too much for her. She needed to calm down, and rest.

Will walked into the house ready for breakfast. Ready to go back to the pack. Ready to see what really was wrong with Grace. James said he would look at Grace. Avalon appeared to have some memory loss. "If Raven can't figure out what's wrong maybe Leah can?(Not sure if that is her name)) He felt bad for Avalon despite everything. "I'm Will, and this is Justin."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments ((I think it was Leah..))

Nicholas felt so bad for his love. He remembered so much about their old lives both now and then while she remembered so little. It seemed so unfair. "I'll explain where I was and what I was doing while I was gone later.... shhh, come sit. You need to rest, lets go have some breakfast then you can rest some more." He told her wanting her to clam down some. That's what she needed right now the most he could feel it.

Justin nodded Leah was one of the best healers he knew. But if it was true, Raven was just as good as well. So maybe if she couldn't help Avalon he'd call Leah and have her come and help with it. "Hi." He said to the rest of the room before addressing James and the others closest to where they stood. "If you need help or can't figure it out I'm more then willing to call in Leah. The Healer of my pack."

Oh boy, when Avery had told her that something was wrong with Avalon-- Ruby whoever she was. She had expected something minor. Not--- this. So much that she had to relearn. "Um no...." Turning to Avery then when she came in thankful for the discretion. "I'll try my best to, but if I can't Justin has someone that can help.." Raven assured Avery sensing how worried she was for her mother.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon nodded her head slowly. "Okay." she whispered softly walking to the couch. Her body curled into the couch. The tears stopped coming, as she started to calm down. The little girl brought her food, and skipped off to the table. She looked at the food, and started to eat. After she was done, she glanced around the room. There were pictures of a strange girl standing with Nicholas, all over the house. It seemed familiar, but yet nothing. "Nicholas, my love, why is there a strange person standing with you in these pictures? You look happy with her?" Avalon was calmed down enough that anyone could reason with her.

"Okay Auntie Raven, and Justin. Mommy's in there somewhere." Avery said. She brought her mother food. It was the least Avery could do. She wasn't feeling the best. "Uncle Blake, maybe you could sense what is blocking mommy's memories." She knew Blake was powerful, and a old vampire, but what she didn't understand that her father and James were more powerful. "Please," One of the many qualities that she gained from her mother was impatience. Avery desperately wanted her mother better, and right this instance.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nicholas had gotten his plate and gone to sit next to Avalon on the couch so that they could eat together and talk. While the others gathered around an sat at the table. Sitting his own plate aside when she began to ask questions. She at least seemed calmed down enough now to reason with. Taking her hand in his. "Sweetheart, I know you might not remember right now due to the memory loss if that is truly what it is, but-- we had a child. That little girl in there is ours. I know it must sound crazy, after everything, but she's so much like you, and me both. You have to believe me."

Raven let out a little sigh as she sat down to breakfast with the others. Sitting next to Avery. As she looked across the table to Blake. Knowing that now he wasn't the powerful-est in the little group. Nicholas and James where. But Avery didn't know that.

Blake nodded even though he knew that now James and even Nicholas or Nick rather out ranked him in power. But he would agree. " I will try to see if I can sense what it is after breakfast. But if not, then James will have to try, seeing as it might be as simple as mommy might not be able to remember due to memory loss. You know how that little boy at the park feel and hit his head and then seemed confused?"

James had decided that it was best if he joined them at the table diving in to breakfast like he was starving.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon glanced at Nicholas. "I want to believe you. I really do, but I don't remember having a child. Or ever doing anything with you to have a child. I know you don't have any reason to lie to me." Her ears listened into the conversation the little girl was having with everyone around her. "I can sense she is getting frustrated. It appears her powers are coming in. They should try to calm her down some. I remember when my powers came in I tried to make James disappear because mother and father weren't paying attention to me."

Avery shook her head as if she was protesting. "No mommy is in there somewhere. You guys have to fix her now." Avalon knew what memory loss was, and she didn't need an explanation. She didn't understand that it took longer for the mind to heal than the body. "I want mommy now." Tears sprang out of her eyes. Although she was upset about her mother, this outburst had a lot to do with what happened to her. The things Delilah and Opal showed her terrified her. They showed everything they did to her father.

Will heard what Avalon said, and then looked at Avery. He felt bad because a child should never go through something like that. "Avery sometimes the mind takes longer to heal, than the body. Raven, Blake, and James will take a look at her, but until then why don't you come with Justin and I to the pack. I'm sure my nephew will be delighted to see you." Will wanted to get back to Grace. No it wasn't a want he needed to get back to Grace.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nicholas was glad that she believed him even if she didn't remember having a child. Plus as she'd said he had no reason to lie to her. Giving a small chuckle at what she'd done all those meinina's ago to get her parents attention. By trying to make James go away. He could imagine that. And sure that their parents hadn't been too happy with her after she'd tried to play that stunt. "I can imagine you trying to get away with that, but I'm also James got back at you somehow." He told her love ling.

Raven felt bad for Avery, knowing that part of the outburst had to have been a long time coming seeing as she'd heard that she hadn't talked about what had happened with she'd been away. Kneeling down to Avery's height. " Uncle Will is right, Why don't you go with him and Justin then Blake, James and me can look over mommy and hopefully help her speed up her healing."

James agreed, by nodding although he would also need to take a leave of absences in order to look at Grace. Taking Blake aside for a moment telling him that he would return, once he'd looked over Grace to see if he could find anything different then what the wolves healer had found. Before returning to the group.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments ((Will respond after dinner))

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "James was only a baby," Avalon said, But there were times where he and I butted heads." She looked down, "In the end, I will always be there for him no matter what." After everything was done would her brother leave? It felt like she just got him back.

Avery glanced up at Raven and pouted some. "Okay, do you think Uncle Will's nephew and I could get ice cream sundaes?" Her right hand went up and wiped the tears that were falling down her face. Avery's eyes went to James, she didn't really know him compared to the others. "Don't worry Aunt Grace is okay. The babies are here to help the Earth Princess. The visions of a dark future should have stopped unless if they succeeded in casting the spell. " Avery didn't realize that her mother was the Earth Princess yet. They were Delilah and Opal.

Will looked over to Avery hearing her words about Grace. "I'm sure he would love ice cream sundaes." It would do Avery some good to hang around with someone her age.

Avalon's ear perked up when Avery said something about a spell. Her faced paled. An instant flashback to the previous night when the chaos was in her. The sudden realization of the song being a spell hit Avalon hard. "James can I talk to you in private." Avalon started to walk up the stairs.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nicholas didn't know what had come over her after trying to lighten the mood. But sensed that she did in deed need to speak to her brother alone. Moving aside an letting her go up the stairs. Listening to the others as they spoke.

James nodded, as he looked to Avalon hearing that she wanted to talk to him in private. Most likely she had had a flash back to the other night and wanted some questions answered. Fallowing her up the stairs so that they could speak, touching Avery's shoulder on the way up. He hadn't had the chance to talk or get to know the young girl but he did know that she was his sisters and Nicholas's daughter. That much he knew other then that he would work on trying to get to know her better in the coming days. Stopping once he reached where she waited for him.

Justin paused feeling a slight hint of worry and something else come over him at hearing Avery use of the word 'Babies' not just 'baby'. But even then how had Avalon or who ever it was- done this to Grace in order to have her produce the babies? Seeing as they weren't Will's. He had clearly ruled that out as not possible. So how had she become to be in this state? Hopefully when James went back with them and looked at her he'd be able to give them some more answers then what they had.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Brother, what the little girl said about the spell. You don't think what I was saying was that said spell." Avalon looked at her brother her voice was shaky. "Because if it was that means I have caused something really bad to start happening." She started to pace back and forth. Although Avalon was a particularly calm person, Ruby wasn't. "I don't even know why I am freaking out. I don't freak out. I never freak out."

Will gulped when he heard the word babies. He did not want to children yet. "Leah's going to have to test if I blanked out just in case."

Avery tilted her head. "Seekers always come in twos. Even Ellie knows that. The Seekers are rare and need to repopulate now that the Earth Princess has awakened." Avery looked towards Blake. "Uncle Blake when mommy is better, say sorry. Mommy depends on your friendship. Try to explain everything to her."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments James hadn't known Ruby, he only knew what she was like from Blake telling him a little bit about her when they had spoke. How she was sometimes nervous about big events and other things. If things where going badly she would become worried. So maybe this was Ruby- or some version of her. Trying to peek out and that was making an effect on Avalon. "It's okay, sometimes we all freak out. I don't know sister. It could be, you said that it was a song, while you where singing but I was able to get you to stop singing it, plus you where knocked out before you could finish singing it. An uncompleted spell isn't a full spell so maybe there is no effect."

Justin nodded. "I'll tell her that she should when we return... but it doesn't add up. Even if you did black out and-- you um you know. The two of you shouldn't of ended up with Seekers." He said wanting to avoid the use of the other word seeing as he didn't see Nicholas or Avalon taking kindly to using such curd language in front of their daughter.

"I'll be sure to try and explain all of this to mommy once she's better. Promise." Blake promised Avery although he hadn't realized really how much she depended on their friendship, considering all the times she'd gotten after him for one thing or another.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon glanced up at her brother. "You and I both know I don't freak out. Brother what's wrong with me," she let out a frustrated sigh. "Did I really lose memories? And how do I get them back?" Something didn't feel right with her. "You have to go back to the pack don't you?" She sighed for a moment. "Is this Grace really having Seekers?" There were millions of questions floating in her head. Avalon wanted to talk to the Seekers. She wanted to be near something familiar. Before her brother could answer she walked down the stairs back to Nicholas. "Can we get on with them trying to help me? "

Avery smiled then shifted her focus back to Justin and Will. "Werewolves also typically have twins too. There is nothing wrong with Seekers. Seekers watch over the whole universe. They can make anything happen. Their population is dwindling." Avery didn't know how she knew these things, she just did. "Uncle Will can we go now."

Will looked at Avery. The fact that she knew so much. If they weren't vampires then what were they? He gave a slight nod to Justin. "Yes, let's go."

"Can Ellie have ice cream too?" Avery asked.

"Yes." Will replied leading her out the door and into their car. All they had to do was wait for James.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments James knew that this wasn't like her. But he also didn't want to claim that it was the part of her that was once Ruby. Seeing as to her she never truly was Ruby. She was always Avalon but just believed herself to go by a different name for all those years. Letting go of a deep breath before heading back down the stairs himself, finding her back with Nicholas. He'd try to speak with her later he thought. Going over though anyways and saying gently. "I'll be back as soon as I can sister, Right now I need to go look at Grace, but I should be back by nightfall if not sooner."

Raven had been listening most of the time having wondered off while they had spoken about how to go about this, making her own plans. Going and collecting her books from the guest house before coming back in and starting a short search on how best to go about this. Finding only minor things nothing that would change anything big though. Perking up however when she heard Avalon back in the living room asking about if they could get on with checking her out.

Justin didn't know what to say, he didn't know that a little girl could know so much. So much about this of all things. But then again Avery wasn't just some normal little girl either. fallowing them out the door and to the car they'd drove.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon gave a grim smile, "Okay, brother. Brother, I love you." She didn't want her brother to leave. She didn't know, who Grace was. Or maybe she did, and didn't remember. Her attentions turned to Raven. "You're an old vampire. Did you ever study under witches? My grandmother was a powerful witch, she always took in people to teach the art of magic." she asked curious about the girl, who would be trying to fix her. Her eyes shot to her feet. "Whoever the Queen of Darkness is she's very powerful. My grandmother used to be the Queen of Darkness, but she's dead. So maybe one her students ended up being the new one." Avalon shrugged her shoulders. She doubted Raven could do anything. The Elder was probably right, it would just need time. "Please do what you must."

Avery smiled. "I get to eat ice cream sundaes. Do you think we could bring Mommy one. Mommy always says ice cream makes people feel better." Avery said. "Why don't you guys believe me when I saw Grace is having seekers?"

Will nodded. "Sure." He just wanted James to hurry up. Leah needed to do a test on him. Grace he needed to see Grace. Will looked at Avery in the rear view mirror. "It doesn't hurt to get a second view."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Raven shook her head, "No, I never got the chance to study under witches.. I was a mid- wife during one of the wars though, so I do know a great deal about healing not only humans but the supernatural alike . So shall we see what I can find out about this?" She asked her nicely as she walked into the room to stand by her and Nicolas. So that she could began. Knowing that Blake would be watching as well to see if he could get anything from it as well.

James knew that his sister wasn't ready for him to leave yet. But he would return, and then he would stick around for as long as she liked him to, or until he got called back. Giving his sister a slight bow and kissing the back of her hand before turning to go. Walking out the door and already finding them all in the car. Climbing into the back seat with Avery seeing as Justin and Will had taken the front seats.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Oh, anyways my grandmother Ellie was the best. Last night I swear that she was talking to me. I swear she was there pulling out the chaos," Avalon shivered at the memories of last night. She just wanted to go back to the comfort. "I mean unless if that little girl was the heir to the Queen of Darkness, then my grandmother could possess her to take the chaos out, but that's not possible. Right? It doesn't matter let's find out what is wrong with me."

Avery looked at James then to Justin and Will. "I'm confused about one thing. Mommy doesn't like werwolves, so why does mommy care about you?" She glanced at James it was something that was going through her head since his arrival. "I don't know what change, Mommy for sure hates werewovles. Who are you to mommy? Why are you here? You are aware that you will get called back in the near future." Avery was curious about James he felt like a werewolf, but he seemed different. "This is Ellie, she's my elephant. We both agree that you can be trusted. Ellie wants to let you know James that something bad is going to happen."

Will wrinkled his forehead when he heard Avery's last sentence. He didn't pay attention to much of what she was saying until then. The elephant was just a stuff animal. Kids had active imaginations all the time. Elephants were wise creatures, but again her's was just a stuff animal. What even prompted the thought that her elephant could actually give information to Avery? It was the way she talked about that elephant sometimes that crept him out.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Raven didn't think that she or any of them really - had considered that. But then again it hadn't needed to be considered until now. Ellie... why did that. Oh crap. Ellie. Avery's stuffed elephant was named Ellie. But was it just by chance or was her grandmother really somehow inside the stuffed toy or was something more going on here? Brushing it off, she'd talk to the others about it when Avalon wasn't right here in the middle of trying to find out why she'd lost her memories. Starting to go about checking her over. "I'm going to check over your body first make sure there isn't anything broken or sprained. If you could please lay down?"

This was the first real chance James had, had to speak with Avery since his arrival a night before. Responding as the car started to move to take them back to the pack house. "I'm mommy's brother. I was here to help her defeat someone very, very bad. I suppose I will at some point, when they need me again but in the mean time I'm hoping to get to know you a little better an be able to be with mommy a bit longer." Feeling his eyebrows raise slightly at the name of her elephant. "Ellie. That's a lovely name, when did you first meet Ellie?" He asked finding it strange that she spoke as if the stuffed elephant could somehow speak to her.

Justin barely listened in to what was being said between the two in the back. Focusing more on the road then that. But didn't miss Avery's last sentence, an neither had Will from the looks of it considering the wrinkled forehead he saw next to him. Keeping quit about it however. Seeing as right now they or Will really. Was more worried about Grace and what it could mean if James confirmed that she was in fact baring seekers.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon nodded her head despite wanting to protest. There wasn't anything broken or sprained she would have have felt it. She laid down anyways. She doubt Raven would find anything physically wrong with her. Especially, if it was mentally. She wished she could remember something about this house or this life. Everyone, but her brother and Nicholas weren't familiar. It was hard for her to digest the information. Deep down all Avalon wanted to do was go back to the castle.

Avery was confused about the baby talk. "You mean Delilah?" Avery said tilting her head to the side. "I don't know it's always been Ellie the elephant and I. Ellie always tells me stories, and sometimes teaches me things more advanced than Blake and Mommy." She shook her head. "Mommy has more siblings? How does a vampire have a werewolf for a brother?"

((sorry so short eating dinner))

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments ((It's fine. I think I might read and be on here at the same time. So your good.))

Raven had learned bedside manner as a mid wife in the war although she wasn't very good at it in the past couple of years. But for this she would try. Going about checking her ribs and arms before her legs and ankles. All the major area's the would of been broken first. "So, how are feeling besides not remembering some things?" She asked.

Mm for a little one despite her size and age she was very smart and advanced for her age. Deciding to ditch the baby talk seeing as she clearly didn't need it. "Yes, I mean Delilah." James confirmed before listening to her other questions. Maybe it was grandma Ellie somehow then seeing as James knew better then to think that she was simply just talking about a stuffed toy elephant. "Oh? What does Ellie teach you? Yes, but I'm the only one..... " How to explain that last part to her? Seeing as he didn't want to have a re enactment of what had happened when Avalon had tried to make him disapiar all those years ago. Oh yes he remembered that. Taking a moment to think on his words for a moment. "Well,-- we are quit old I'm sure you know that. Back when we were born, no one was expecting me to be what I am, considering that we had witch blood in the family. Even though I am a werewolf I'm not just a regular were like Uncle Will and Justin. Because I'm one of the Guarden's, and they are much more older, how though I was born a werewolf though, is anyone's guess, seeing as even I don't know that."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "As good as one can get without having any memory of this place. All I want is to go back to the castle. I know the castle. I don't know you or that guy staring at you. All I know is my brother and Nicholas." Avalon whispered feeling a disturbance in the atmosphere. "That little girl is upset." Avalon said. "It doesn't matter can you just figure out what's wrong."

Avery ignored the question about what Ellie teaches her because it seemed insignificant. "But mommy and I are vampires. How are you a werewolf if we are vampires?"The little girl wasn't informed about her mother's past, after she was just a little girl. She was confused, what he was saying was impossible. "Mommy is a vampire. What you are saying is impossible?" Avery was getting frustrated she looked down at her elephant. Ellie didn't say anything back. "You're lying mommy isn't a witch. Mommy and I are vampires like Uncle Blake. Uncle Blake is an Elder. Mommy and Daddy wouldn't lie what I am." she grasped her elephant tears ran down her cheeks.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Raven considered for only a moment what could be upsetting Avery. But any number of things these days could be. Choosing to focus instead on what was in front of her. "Well you don't seem to have anything sprained or broken which is good. Look at me, so that I can check your pules." She asked thinking that she may have a concussion. "That, is Blake over there, he's one of the good guys so you can trust him." She told Avalon as she shined a small amount of light into her eyes. It was one of the same things that both the supernatural and humans had in common. So she always made sure to check that no matter what they were.

James felt bad for making her so frustrated that she become to tears. Pulling out the hankie he kept stored in his pockets for occasions like this even if they were far and few between. He always thought it wise to have one if something such as this arose. " Here, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you so upset... how about this, after I look at Grace you can ask me any questions about me and mommy and I'll answer them. I'll answer them. Then you can go out for ice cream with Uncle Will and his nephew."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments ((I'm so sorry I thought I responded))

Avalon let out a sigh before responding, "Look I know I don't have anything broken or sprained. I did not hit my head, I know that for sure." She got up from the couch angrily. "Have you ever thought there is a mental block maybe I don't want to remember?" she snapped Avalon was unsure if that would be the case. Wanting to forget, would be something that Ruby would do, but alas Avalon's memories of Ruby were gone. "Nothing physically is wrong with me. I thought that was made clear."

Avery glanced up at James. "I do not want to hear anything you have to say. Because it is not true." Avery refused the acceptance of the hankie and looked out the window. "Will did mommy shut off her emotions again? Is that why she doesn't remember me? And why is daddy acting differently?"

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments (( It's okay, I remembered that you were doing that thing for school those weeks so I waited until a week or so after to send you a reminder not sure if you forgot or if something else was going on))

Raven let go of a sigh. "Yes, it seems that we can rule that out seeing as you've made that very clear. It could be, a mental block I suppose, seeing as some of your memories are missing and if you did have a block it would be preventing you from recalling them. Now let me ask you something, What is the last thing you remember before you and James went to face down your sister? Not counting the planing the two of you did before you went." Seeing as that was the first time that she became fully Avalon. So anything before that may be cloudy to her which would help narrow down the search.

For now, James thought it best to be quite. Folding up the hankie and putting it back in his pocket. Maybe once she'd had a chance to clam down some then he would then ask her again if she'd like him to answer any questions that she may have. Seeing as even Will and Justin didn't know the full extent of his long life. So there were bond to be some that he would have to be the one to answer them.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon wrinkled her forehead trying to think about what the last thing she remembered. "Waking up in the castle. Brother said I defeated Delilah, but I don't even remember fighting her. The last thing I remembered is Nicholas was going to get help to help defeat Delilah. He came back then sister tried to kill me, but Nicholas jumped in front of me then he died. Which is why I am confused on how he is still alive?" Avalon glanced down.

Will didn't know what happened to Ruby or Avalon whatever she was called. All he knew is there was something blocking her memories. "She didn't shut it off." he assured her.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Ah. That must of how it had played out the first time. When the castle was still alive and bustling with life, and not in the ruin it was now today. Casting a look behind her to were Blake was still standing. As if to say, 'Ah, well at least now we can narrow down a bunch of things on that list of ours.' Before turning back to Nick and Avalon. "I see... Avalon, do you believe in being born again? Like a rebirth, some call it incarnation. Have you ever heard of it before?"

James was hoping the ride was about over seeing as things were starting to feel awkward in the car now. Even if Will had answered her question, he didn't know all of it, and if he did he simply just didn't want to answer it right now.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon glanced at Raven. "That has nothing to do with anything." she snapped. "If you will not help me I will leave." she started to walk to the door. Something felt off, she flashed to the castle. Tears rolled down her face as she broke down crying. Everything was overwhelming, the more this feeling took over the more Avalon pushed what Nicholas said down.

Will continued driving until something popped into his head. "James let's do a what if scenario. Ruby and Avalon are two different people, but the life Avalon lived as Ruby was real. I am not sure how much you know about Ruby, but she was quite unstable at times and I know having Blake lied to her, her losing Nick to the darkness, and then Nick being a different person because of the awakening of Nicholas, and not knowing who her identity is, would break Ruby. What if she blocked out Ruby and the all the hurt that came with Ruby as a way to stop struggling? That doesn't sound like Avalon would do that, but Ruby would."

Avery glanced up, what Will said made sense. She knew her mother. She knew her mother was having a hard time with everything. "Uncle Will, you need to turn around and tell daddy that." She felt a change in her father too even before the awakening of Nicholas.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Raven sighed. While she might not be Ruby anymore she sure had some of the same traits. Mainly because on some scale no matter how small they were the same person. "She'll come around.." She said mostly to herself but also to Blake.

Nicholas listened even though he disagreed to a point. "I'll go see how she is.." He told them, blinking out as well as he focused all of his mind on her. Ending up at the Castle. Going over to her and wrapping an arm around her waist. "Love,---"

James considered this. While he didn't know much about Ruby he had also heard of her and kept tabs on her over the years thinking that it was possible that his sister might take her as a host when she came back. But nothing beyond that. Listening to them however it was clear that they knew Ruby's habits before she became Avalon. And if it was anything to go by it was quit possible that; that is what she was doing rather she knew it or not. "It is possible... I think Avery is right. Nicholas should know that so he can better help her come into herself." He told him.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Avalon blinked and quickly turned herself around. She buried her face into his chest. She clenched his shirt. "Nicholas," her voice was barely audible. Everything was confusing. She could feel an overwhelming amount of emotions cover her like a blanket. "Please make it stop."

Why was he calling her father Nicholas? His name was Nick. Avery shook her head. "Daddy isn't around right now," she whispered softly. "Daddy will figure it out."
