Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments ((It's fine I totally understand. That's how I was for two days straight.))

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Delilah was furious she knew what she had to do. "No one double crosses me." She looked at Opal. "Get the bunker ready. They won't find us there. I am going to pay a visit somewhere." Opal nodded her head. Delilah flashed to the forest.

Avery felt the dark presence and stopped in her tracks. She wasn't running at full speed to begin with. Jason was far enough ahead of her that he would be okay.

"Hello, little one. Auntie Delilah is going to take you to a special place until the New Moon." Walking forward swiftly and scooping her up. Avery let out a scream and was kicking. Flashing away in a blink of an eye.

Ruby smiled softly she was happy. Deep down she knew this moment of bliss wouldn't last for much longer. There was training to be done. After all of this was done Nick and her would have to start over, but she guess it wouldn't be too bad. Her eyes widened as she felt Delilah from here. "No." she whispered in a weak voice. Pushing herself to her feet her knees felt like jelly. If someone didn't stop her she would leave. "I swear that once I get my hands on those two. I will kill them with my bare hands." Ruby hissed. "I have to go." Right now she was in shape to fight she couldn't run in blindly either.

All the color drained from his face. "What? That's not possible. I swear unless if we blacked out." Then his eyes widened at the darkness. "I will be back walking out." This wasn't good, Ruby would kill him. Hearing the scream. There was nothing he can do. It wasn't Nick he wouldn't be able to go through the barrier.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nick felt it too when the darkness hit. Delilah was close. Possibly even at the camp. And if that was the case-- Avery. Standing up, and resting a hand against Ruby's back. "No. Stay. Help train the others with Blake. He's already started, it. I'll go protect Avery." He told her. Remembering what they'd shown him right before he had left to come here. A picture of Avery in a cave with a boy about her age talking to him. So they knew where she was, and so did he. If anything Delilah would strike there in order to get back at him for saving Ruby and Avalon. Not giving her a chance to protest about this. Simply bleeping out like he'd done when he'd come here. Portaling to where he could sense Avery was. Appearing a moment latter. "Delilah, let her go..." He would not bother playing nice if he thought his daughter was going to be harmed in anyway. He would take Delilah out without even the slightest of hesitations. Hopefully she knew that he could.

Jason had gotten ahead of Avery, while they'd been racing. But stopped when he heard her scream and a women's voice. Looking back but staying behind a tree for protection and cover. So that he wouldn't be spotted. Seeing a man appear out of thin air then realized it to be Avery's daddy. Wondering how many of the others had heard her scream and were on their way to help.

Raven had heard the scream, even from inside of the house. Dropping what she'd been doing and flashing out of the house and into the woods. Tracking Avery as she went. She could not let that little girl die, and it wasn't just because she knew what fate awaited her if she did fail in protecting her. It was knowing that she'd never forgive herself if she didn't save and protect her with her own life.

Leah nodded, watching him go. Knowing that he was right. It wasn't possible. Seeing as she had even checked for a possible brain injury that would show inside and incite that she blacked out. While she hadn't scanned Will's she doubted he would show anything different. So the only thing that pointed to Grace's being pregnant was some kind of spell or magic. She'd have to speak to Will when he returned about the chances of that.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Delilah titled her head confused on how he got here. There was no way he could have gotten through that barrier being a vampire. Unless if someone invited him, but he would do that? "I said I was going to take her if you saved that girlfriend of yours." Snapping her fingers making Ruby appear in front of them. "Oh now the fun I can begin."

"Mommy, daddy." Avery whispered softly looking at her mother she looked really bad. "Let go of me or they will kill you." Avery tried wiggling free from the grip.

"Let her go." Ruby snapped. Before she knew she found herself being smacked against a tree. She felt her body going limp.

"Mommmy!!!!!." Avery screamed seeing her mother's body start to go limp. "Let go of me." The grip was too strong.

"What a nosy brat." Delilah snapped Avery's neck watching the child's body go limp. With another flick of her wrist Ruby was thrown against a cave. "Maybe this will kill you. I would love to stay and chat Nickolas, but I got a war to plan for." Disappearing quickly into place where no one could sense them. A place only Avalon knew of and she was close enough to being dead again.

"Avery...." Ruby was breathing heavily every bone in her body hurt. "Nick the...." Sitting up against the cave. "Do you...kn-o-o-ow where th--h-he castle used to be? I think we n-e-eed to go there." Tears rolled down her face, the caverns under the waterfalls. Only her and Delilah knew about them.

Will needed some air from all of this. Grace couldn't possibly be pregnant. There wasn't any way they could have blacked out. The last time his wolf took complete control had been years. Biting the inside of his cheek what his vampire took control? That could explain why neither of them remember it, but what if something magical. Will walked back into the building. "Leah, Avery was talking about the Earth Princess early. Why does that sound so familiar? I remember in my old pack there was a myth that went with the Seekers aiding someone important. Is it possible that somehow seekers are being reborn because of the Earth Princess?" He knew there was more about the Princess he couldn't just remember.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments ((So I changed it and I think I got carried away a bit.))

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nick had wanted to try to keep Ruby out of this. Seeing as he knew that she was so weak. That was the one reason he had left her when he'd come to get Avery. Not showing any sign when Delilah snapped Ruby to them however. But couldn't hide the worry he felt when she was slammed back against the cave. He'd get their daughter back. Even if that killed him. Watching them leave fearing for Avery now. Hoping that she'd be okay and be able to protect herself if not just a little bit. Rushing over to were Ruby was now. "I think so, I didn't see much of the outside of it, but I do have an idea where it is. Do you want me to vibe us there? I can go alone if you're too tired."

Leah looked up again when he returned. Shutting everything down once more. Seeing as she had missed this decision about the Earth Princess. "I-- suppose. But there haven't been any seekers in, many years. The ones that could of possibly still been around would of been in hiding due to fear of being found out. I've heard that myth too, it was a story my parents used to tell me when I was little. If I remember correctly- The Earth Princess had two sisters. Each of them were very powerful, in their own way. The two other sisters started dabbling in dark magic however, became too powerful for anyone to stop. In fear of being killed, by her sisters The Earth Princess went to the seekers for help. Asked them to hide her away, for her own protection. So the seekers hid her away were no one could find her, until she raised again. But before she was hidden away she cast a spell over the land to make sure that if her sisters came looking, the land and everything on it would help protect her. And that if the earth burned no matter the damage it would always regrow and become strong again." She finished. Casting a look towards Grace, before asking her question. "Why? Do you think that this- her pregnancy is due to some kind of magic? I was actually considering that but I didn't know if it could be a real possibility."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments (( I will respond very soon. I been busy all day packing for move in day and I am exhausted. I know I already said this, but response will be slow. I will do my best to respond tonight, but it might happen tomorrow night.))

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments ((That's fine, I know how it is with packing and all that fun stuff.))

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby shook her head no reaching up taking a little bit of blood from his neck then relaxing. "It's almost night time as much as I hate it we both need to rest. In the morning we will get our daughter back. Besides," she whispered softly, "We can't sense her unless if Avery uses some of her magic. They won't hurt her she's bait." Ruby curled into Nick. Letting some tears fall down ever so softly it pained her to even say that, but right now they couldn't afford to do more damage.

Will listened to the story he swore there was more to the story, but he guess he would remember it late. "Because in theory she would need a new seeker. Yes I know all of the stories are myths and legends, but there's always some truth to them. We just have to pick out the fact from fiction. Even compare it to the vampires stories to get more of it. Or maybe Justin and I should just go visit Blake and Ruby." He shrugged his shoulders.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nick let out a sigh, no matter how much he disliked the idea of leaving their daughter with Opal and Delilah for even another minute he also knew that if they didn't rest there would be no hope of them doing anything. They were both already running on fumes as it was. Plus he could sense how much Ruby hated saying that their daughter was bait. Bait for them. But it was still true. What he didn't tell her though was what Delilah had done. And he wouldn't. Cradling her against himself now. "You're right... we'll get her back in the morning, right now we'd only be hurting ourselves by going. Let me get you home, Blake should be done with the training by now, so it should be quite if not we can just dismiss them for the night." He told her starting to get ready to flash them home.

"Seekers actually. There were three that helped her. Yes, there is always some truth in every story no matter how far fetched it may sound. I'll start working on sorting out the truth from fiction, with some of the others. You and Justin should go, speak with Blake. Seeing as Avery was right, we can't fight something we know nothing about besides sending the females and children away. Both of you need to know what is coming, so that we can stand together and fight." Leah told him, carefully. Casting another glance to Grace. Asking after a moment. "If it isn't the Earth Princess that has cast a spell on Grace to carry... is there anyone, that would do this? Put a spell on her or force her to somehow get pregnant without her consent or yours even? Some witch or something?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments ((Sorry my first semester of College has been really busy))

Ruby rest her head against Nick. For the first time in a long time it felt as if nothing has changed. But everything did, and she was unsure if they could go back to that ignorant bliss, that once covered them in a blanket. A deep breath of fresh air rushed through her lungs as she inhaled. There was an enormous amount to discuss between them. Ruby didn't know how to speak the words that needed to be said. The pain in her body started to become more prominent. "It hurts," she whispered softly, realizing she broke her code of silence Ruby swore at herself. The state of their relationship is unimportant as their daughter, but the thought of it still was dwelling.

Will nodded his head for brief second absorbing what Lea said. "I planned on it," continuing to speak after he thought about it, "No, there isn't anyone that I am aware of who has the ability to do something like that."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nick could sense her pain, and all that she was going through despite their broken connection. Seeing as while their mate connection might still be broken. The one that they had on a universal level was still very much in tacked. They would need time- a lot of time after all this was done with- if they both made it through this. To recover and work things out. That much he knew without a doubt. Closing his eyes an flashing them home, so that they landed on the couch. He would of flashed them to their room but he wasn't sure if she would want to share it considering everything. He'd take the loveseat or the couch while she took the bed. Seeing as she was in worse shape then himself. "Shhh, it'll be better soon.." Sensing that either Blake had dismissed them all for the night already or they had already finished. Seeing as the only other person in the house besides them was Blake.

Leah had hoped that it would be a simple answer. An ex of hers, that was a warlock... or a witch that Will had dated and had found out about the mate thing between him and Grace so had sought revenge. But she should of known that nothing was ever that easy. Giving a nod. "okay. I'll be here if you need anything, and I'll let you know if anything changes... Oh. I don't know if it'll make a difference considering, everything. But- if you get a chance in the coming days, or some down time, try to come see her, talk to her... it could help her." Leah had just remembered a myth- or what she had always considered a myth as many others had as well up to this point. While it was a werewolf myth some others have heard of it as well. She just wondered now if it was true or not.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby hated being close to him, but yet far away. Despite her past be unlocked she was still the same impatient, selfish, impulsive girl. She was unsure what went wrong between them because she honestly thought once she saved him that they would be whole again. It surprised, Ruby with Nick's reaction. This time she had a gut feeling that pushing him would be unintelligent for her to do, so she dropped it. The thought still haunted her mind. "Nick, what went wrong between us? I honestly don't know. I know I am not the easiest person to be around most of the time. Is it because of what I am," Ruby whispered through the pain, trying to hold back tears attempting not to show her emotions.

Will nodded, "I will try my best to get back here as soon as possible. I am going to search for Justin in order for us to to Ruby's." As he walked out the door her paused for a brief moment. Running all the events through his brain. If the Earth Princess was back then what did that mean? Were the Elders and Seekers the same or was the Seekers different? He had a feeling the answers would be found at Ruby's. He started to walk around camp until he found Justin. "I think it's time we go see Ruby and Blake." He was unaware that Nick was back.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nick knew that he wasn't like he used to be. Even a few months ago, wondering if what he'd gone through with Opal and Delihia really changed him that much despite the fact that she had gotten light back into him. Or had he just become a bad husband over the time they had shared together, for some reason. Seeing as he had warned her all those many years ago, that he had never been able to stay with a woman before because of who he was. But he had also told her that she made him better. So what in the world had happened to make him like this? To make them like this now? Shaking his head after a moment. "No, it's not that-- It's not of what you are, or even who you are... I don't know, I think something went wrong with me somehow. down the line of it all. I just don't know what." He didn't know what it was but he felt sure that whatever it was. It was his doing. All of it.

Justin had been looking for Will seeing as he had finished settling things down with everything in his pack. An giving orders for what needed to be done, while Will an him were gone to talk to Blake and Ruby. "I think you're right... I got things going smoothly again, so everything should be under control until we get back.." He told him. Then cleared his throat as they started out to head to the truck so that they didn't have to run. "I heard that Leah, called you in to talk about Grace.... everything okay?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby looked up at him holding herself together. She knew why it was everything he been through these past few weeks. The amount of darkness within him because of Delilah was horrible. With her unlocking the past within him. "It's not your fault. I was living in my own little world thinking you would be unchanged by everything that you went through." Ruby got out from his arms wincing at the pain. "Justin and Will are going to be here. They are going to want answers." She leaned against him feeling her stability was not up to par. "They don't need to know about me being the Earth Princess," Ruby whispered softly against him, "They don't need to know about your past either Nick."

Will sighed unsure how much he wanted to tell him right now. "Grace is alright for now. I will tell you more when I get the answers I need from them." Will whispered there was nothing else for him to say. They started to make their way to see Ruby and Blake. When they arrived he felt two unfamiliar presences in the house besides Blake.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Blake had been down stairs calming down after the training seeing as he had dismissed them early. Due to the fact that he had his own subisonioses that Will and Justin the other leader of the other pack. Would be stopping by to visit tonight for answers on what they all were up against. Hearing them outside now setting down his cup of tea and going to the door to answer it pulling it open, even before they could knock. "I thought I'd be seeing the two of you tonight.. come in."

Nick let her move away an out of his arms. Knowing that even though she wanted him to be unchanged he wasn't. It just wasn't possible the things he'd been through for the past couple of weeks. It might of just been a couple of weeks but with as much darkness that had be in him it was just not possible to not be changed by that. Resting a hand knee. "I wont say anything about that, if you don't want me to... but you're right they are going to want answers."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Will walked in and looked at Blake. "Where's Ruby? I don't feel her here?" Will asked questioning the the presences he felt within the house. Something was going on here and he was about to find out. He started to listen for the voices of the presences.

Ruby glanced up at Nick. "They will find out in time. Right now we need to focus on defeating Delilah and Opal." She had a bone to pick with Will too. She flashed downstairs and looked at Will. "It's your fault. I gave you one job that's all you had to and that was to protect my daughter."

Ruby looked and felt different. "Woah, I said I would protect Avery from Nick. That thing wasn't my fault." Will said putting his hands up. "You need to calm you look sick."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Blake had been about to explain that Ruby was here as was Nick. When Ruby came down, wondering if the two Alpha's could sense the change in her or not. He knew that he could, be because of his rank but he was still unsure. Seeing Nick heading down the stairs as well. Much slower then what Ruby had though. Clearing his throat again like he had before. "I'm not taking sides, but if I may.... Will is right. He agreed to protect Avery from Nick. At the time they as well as we were not aware that they were the one's behind this."

Nick entered the room a moment later seeing Ruby speaking to Will about protecting Avery. From him. He must of done something- threatened one of them somehow an just didn't recall it yet. Stopping once he reached the bottom of the stairs.

Justin intervened right away seeing as he had heard of how quick Ruby's temper could be at times an he didn't want this to get messy. "We agreed to protect your daughter from Nick while he was dark. Other then that we had no reason to believe that we had to protect her from anyone else, seeing as no one told us otherwise.... Besides, we didn't come here to argue. We came here to get answers about what's going on so that we can better protect our packs and then help you defeat whatever it is we're up against." Looking over at the stair case when he felt another presence in the room. "What is he doing here?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby shot a glare at Blake she knew they were right. "Nick isn't dark anymore." Looking down at the floor she let a sigh escape. "A normal wolf isn't going to be able to fight. We would need the Guardians, but they haven't had contact with the outside magic community in years. Do you any of you have a clue?"

Will's faced paled. How did she know about the Guardians only wolves were supposed to know about them. "Tell us what we are up against first. Does it have anything to do with the Earth Princess?"

"We are up against a force of darkness that is powerful. I am sure you both have felt it. They are the most powerful at the New Moon which is in a few days. Why are you asking about the Earth Princess she's just a legend?" Ruby shrugged her shoulders.

Will knew she was hiding something. "Because the Earth Princess has something to do with why Grace is the way she is. Something about Seekers. I doubt it is just legend. Your own daughter was repeating she has returned." Will growled and pinned Ruby to the wall. "Tell what you know about the Earth Princess and Seekers. If Grace dies I will kill you." His eyes flashed yellow he was angry. Will knew that Ruby was too weak to fight him off.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments ((I totally did not see this.. ))

Blake frowned, at the whole ordeal. Yes things were bad, and about to get even worse. But it there was still no reason to be fighting among est themselves. The only thing that would do would make them weaker in the long run. Seeing as he had seen it many times before, an was hoping to avoid such things this time around. "Will- Ruby... I know that both of you aren't dealing with the best of hands right now. But fighting each other will only make things worse in the long run, trust me. I've seen it happen many times before. Now what is wrong with Grace I've trust you've had you're healer look at her.." Once he got this taken care of he would answer any questions they had.

Justin wasn't as gun ho when it came to this line of talk. They'd came for answers not to fight each other. So he could see where Blake was coming from. While he wasn't nearly as old as Blake was, he had seen it as well. Within his own pack even. Leaning back against the door jam. "How do you even know about The Guardians ? Only wolves are suppose to know about them, for there own reasons. You're a vampire. We did feel it, although a little more info on them might be helpful besides 'a force of darkness' seeing as that doesn't really give us much in the way of going about what we need to."

Nick stepped forward for the first time. While he might of said not to say anything about Ruby's being the Earth Princess he had never said anything about sharing things about Opal and Delilah. What we are up against, is two very powerful dark witches. If they can even be called that anymore.."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Will let go of Ruby and tossed to the side. "None of your business." Will growled as he started to pace back and forth.

"He's the one who attacked me. If I was at full strength." Ruby perked her head up to Justin speaking. "I have my ways of knowing things." The real reason was the Seekers created each magical council. Each Seeker fit into one of the categories vampires, witches, werewolves, fairies etc. Every person apart of the Seekers were her friends at one point in time, but it has eons. As far as she knew there hadn't been seeker produce in years. "I need to talk to the leader of the Guardians." Evan, Avalon's younger brother, would still be alive. She placed him with the Guardians so Delilah wouldn't kill him. "Now or we will all be dead in a matter of forty-eight hours."

Will glanced at Justin unsure how to go about this.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Blake rubbed at his forehead. Ruby might be Avalon the Earth Princess but if she wasn't careful she'd loose the people she needed to help them. Already sensing it within Will. If it wasn't for Grace being the way she was - what ever that meant. Then he had a feeling that he wouldn't be here. He might of been but it wouldn't of been with good graces seeing as he would of only been there for his pack. Turning to Justin, to see what his answer to that would be.

Justin didn't care for vampires but he was willing to put that aside in order to protect his pack along with Will's. "Well, we would love to tell you were you can find them so that you could. But like you've pointed out, they haven't come into the light in years, maybe even eons now. So if you can find them you can talk to them... I guess it's a good thing we've already sent the kids and women away then.... "

Nick rolled his eyes, as he heard Justin's response sure that it would only piss off Ruby more then they already had. "Look, I think it's safe to say that no one is very happy right now, that's fine. But if we can't figure out how to work together and get Ruby to the Guardians so that she can speak with them about how to handle this-- We're all screwed. Seeing as once it hits the new moon, Opal and Delilah wont hold back. They'll come after all of us without remorse, and they wont stop until all of us are dead. Mates included."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby glanced up, "You're lying, the alphas always have their connections to the Guardians," she hissed through her teeth. "I am trying to really hard to stay clam and not flip out on you two." If she did it would only make her weaker and that was an unaffordable cost right now. "Tell me where the lead Guardian he will be able to convince the other Guardians to help," Ruby pleaded in a quiet voice.

Will shook his head. "As Justin said we don't know and if we did why would we tell an Elder? You haven't answered a single question about the Earth Princess and what she did to Grace."

"Look whatever is happening to Grace I am truly sorry, but I don't know who the Earth Princess is. If I did I wouldn't be here because there's a select few who can stop the two witches. They took the two people who I care about most in this world, away from me." Was it her fault that Grace was in the state she was in?

"Nick is back. Or do you mean they ruined your connection with him? Ruby doesn't get what she wants, she's not the only one with problems. It's not their fault Nick doesn't love you anymore, it's yours. Don't you think you if he really ever loved you he would have proposed to you." Will wanted answers and now.

Ruby taken back what he said, and looked down. All she wanted was to have a civil, peaceful conversation with them. She wanted to get the help to save the world; to get her daughter back. "Will and Justin please feel free to stay in the guest house by the pool tonight. We can continue the conversation in the morning." Ruby walked up the stairs holding back any tears until she reached her room.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments By now Blake could hardly contain himself considering the way turned so badly so fast. But he also knew that Ruby was worried about everything, Nick was-- changed. How he couldn't say yet but he could sense it within the boy. Add the fact that Will and Justin weren't being the most helpful right then... it was clear why things had gone south so fast. Shaking his head as he leaned back against the wall, waiting for Nick to say something again.

Nick couldn't see the point in all of this. Yes things were bad. If they couldn't work together then the world would most likely end and they'd never get to see their daughter again before they died. By Opal and Deihila's hands. Running a hand down his face before going on seeing that Blake had all but just about given up for this evening. "You're both welcome to say in the guest house. There's more then enough room in it for both of you to have your own rooms. This started bad, and we are all running on fumes as it is, we'll start this up again come morning when we all have a straight head."

Justin was willing to stay there as long as he could be on call for his pack and be able to leave on quick notice should anything happen that he needed to be there for. Watching only for a second as Ruby went up the stairs, then turned to look to Nick. "Fine. I'm willing to stay here but if I need to leave to care for my pack on short notice I will. Will can make his own call on rather or not he stays or goes back to look over our two packs,"

Nick simply nodded, it was up to the two of them now on what they chose to do. Seeing as they weren't at war with them any more an hadn't been for a lot of years now. So he wouldn't hold anyone hostage, when they all had bigger problems to deal with.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby looked down at her feet. She felt defeated on many levels. She walked in the closet looking around at his clothes. Grabbing one his tee shirts that smelt like him, and proceeded to put it on. Despite knowing not to pay attention to what Will said it stung a little bit. Nick was changed because of Delilah not because of her.

Will sighed. "I'll stay." Walking out to the guest house he had to get more information on the Earth Princess and the Seekers. He had to find out what is going on with Grace. He stopped at the entrance. "If I find out that Ruby has anything to do with the Earth Princess and is at fault for Grace. I will kill everything that she cares about you." He growled walking out.

Ruby walked to her beautiful, white, baby grand piano and started to play. "Say what you mean out loud. Drowning in silence when I am lost in the crowd. Cause every sweet thing you ever speak. It's deafening, never knowing what could be. I wish I could show you how. But you are a ghost now." She was a beautiful singer, but didn't do it often and somehow this song helped a little bit.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nick wouldn't say that maybe Will was just a few weeks too late on that threat. That maybe, every thing inside of him that Ruby loved was already gone. But just hadn't shown up and reared it's head yet. Seeing as even after the battle within him between the light and the darkness it was still possible. "Understood.." was the only thing Nick said in response to Will's threat. Maybe they should just tell them that in fact Ruby herself was the Earth Princess. That way maybe they'd have a chance in hell at working together. Letting the two of them go, as he glanced at the ceiling hearing the music from upstairs. Knowing that Ruby was playing the piano, with a faint sound of signing behind it. A sad song. But she was signing.

Blake bounced away from the wall hearing the music and Ruby's signing voice from down the stairs. Heading not for the stairs but for the spare room down the hall. He'd be staying. Plus he wasn't in the mood to climb the stairs and listen to whatever her and Nick might talk about tonight.

Justin walked with Will out to the guest house by the edge of the pool. He could understand's Will's anger. He would be the same, if something happened to his mate. Although he hadn't found his own yet. He would of made the threat as well, if he thought that there was even the slightest of possibilities that Ruby or anyone else might have something to do with his mates condition. Getting to the guest house an walking in looking around. It was pretty inside and despite it smelling like vampires an how small it looked to be from outside it was rather good sized. Heading for the kitchen. He'd make dinner for the two of them then they could talk about how to handle this. Saying as he went. "Should we try reaching out? See if they'll even bother answering our call on meeting with us tomorrow?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby stopped playing the piano and walked to the top of the steps. Part of her wanted to go plead to Nick make it clear that she loves him, but that could strain their relationship even further. Biting the inside of her cheek she pushed her feet down the stairs to Nick. "I know you and I aren't thing right now. I know what they did changed you. But I would like if we could possibly share a bed together and just talk. I really don't want to be alone right now. I understand though Nick if you just want some alone time." Ruby looked down this was her attempt trying to get the new Nick. In all honesty though, she didn't want to be alone in her room.''

Will sat down on her bed and sighed. "I don't know." he shrugged his shoulders. "I just know I need to get some answers from them. Also how did Ruby find out about the Guardians and are we going to tell her? She really must believe they will help, but if they haven't helped their own kind in years why would they help her?" Shaking his head at his own words. "Most importantly why did their presences feel different. Does it have to do with Ruby's new look? And can we trust Nick?"

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nick didn't know what to make of much of anything right now. He only knew that, maybe they should just come forth with their information. And why they most likely felt different. Having gone to head to the kitchen, just to find something to do. Even if that was going through the pantry with nothing more to do. Having felt Ruby enter an come to speak with him. Listening to her, before running a hand through his hair. He didn't know what to do about them right now. Things had been strained between them even before he had gone dark. Now- they weren't really anything at the moment. But he could sense that she really didn't want to be alone. He didn't either. Nodding after a moment. "Okay, we can share the bed... I can always find some alone time later on.. plus we really should talk."

Justin had already started pulling out things from the fridge and putting it on to cook. As Will spoke. it really didn't make a whole lot of sense when it came right down to it. "We all need answers from them. That is a good question. I would say because she's so high in rank. But even then that doesn't make sense seeing as even the higher ups in the vamp world don't all know about them. Why would they even help though? They haven't done anything in the way of helping us with anything for years. So, it has to be something she knows, about them that she feels so sure that they'll help her. I caught that to, and I haven't seen them but once. Somethings changed. I'm not sure if it's because of her new look or something else.... I don't know. He seemed more forth coming with trying to help then she did. Do you think they're trying to hide something that they don't want us knowing?"

Ruby looked up at Nick and gave a light smile, but it made her heart break. As she took a step forward the shooting pain in her side became more apparent. Until now, she was ignoring the any pain. She fell to her knees as tears trickled down her cheeks. Ruby wanted to desperately call out to Nick standing in the same room as her, but she was not his burdened anymore. "Blake," she whispered, he was the last person she wanted; she wanted Nick more than anything.

Will looked at Justin. "They are trying to hide something, but what?" he asked unsure on what they wouldn't keep secret. "She didn't seem to believe the Guardians would be unhelpful to us. Maybe we should call them and see what happens to prove that we aren't lying. That way should would have to open up?" Will suggested. "Whatever it is going on here has something to do with the Earth Princess."

((Didn't she hurt or break a rip when she was thrown?))

Blake had heard the two wolves take their leave to the guest house. As he had been preparing himself for bed, and now sat on his own bed reading a book he'd gotten from the library down the hall. It was a pleasure read. Not one he needed to read to better understand and do homework about. Looking up to the door though when he heard Ruby's soft voice echoing to him from the kitchen. He was not however in the mood to deal with this, but he also knew that Nick probably wouldn't do a thing now either. So it was his duty. Getting out of bed and heading to the kitchen to see what was the matter.

While Nick knew that things between them weren't the same and she most likely looked at herself now as not his problem but someone else's. He could also see that she was in pain when she hit the floor on her knees. Maybe it was her side from where she'd been hit when Avery had been taken. Heading over and kneeling down next to her an gently scooping her up to take her upstairs. While he wasn't himself- his old self anymore- he still did care for her on some level. Maybe given time he'd come to see her the way he used to.

Justin agreed. They should call them, and soon. As soon as possible in fact. Seeing as Will was right. She didn't seem to think that The Guardians would be unhelpful to them. But instead help. But that didn't make sense seeing as they had already pointed out that they hadn't helped their own kind in years now. What made her so sure that they'd help her? Stirring as he considering his next words. Then something clicked. The Earth Princess... Ruby had freaked out when they'd brought her up. It hadn't been the clearest freak out he'd ever saw, but it was just a hint of one but enough for him to catch it before she could slip on her mask again. "She actually seemed pretty damn sure that they would help her. As if she knew that they would even before she had us ask or ask them herself.. Also she freaked out when you brought up The Earth Princess.. and I'm not talking about she went all crazy on you and started threatening. I'm talking a mild little thing, you might not of even noticed it, but she seemed pretty determined not to talk about The Earth Princess.... Do you think that's what they could be hiding? We should call them, as soon as we possibly can to see if they'd be willing to help or not."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments ((Yes she did break some ribs.))

Ruby felt the way Blake was feeling at that very moment, but before he came into the kitchen Nick scooped her up. She didn't mean to upset Blake, maybe he was just tired; after all they were all tired, but part of her felt that maybe that she was just a burdened to all of them. Out of reflex Ruby curled into Nick clenching her fists into his shirt. The tears came faster, and she felt weak for not being able to hold herself together. "Nick . . . I am sorry for doing that," she whispered through the tears pulling away.

Will looked at Justin recalling what he pointed out. "Yes you're right about that." They both knew the Guardians wouldn't help them, but why was Ruby determined. Sighing taking out his phone and dialing the number. "Hello, Justin and I are here at the Queen Vampire's house. We aren't sure how she knows about you guys, but we do know that she wants your help. Something about the Earth Princess." The guardians hung up on him after that. "Hello. . . hello?" Will frowned. "Great they hung up on me. I doubt they will show up."

Ruby felt a presence near by and her eye widened. "Nicolas it's James. He is actually coming. The Elders actually protected him Delilah. The Guardians are going to help." Ruby sounded hopeful and forgotten about the pain; but when she jerked her body pain rippled through her. "It hurts, Nicolas." She didn't even realize she was calling Nick, Nicolas.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Blake heard when Nick went and scooped her up to head for the stairs for the night knowing that he wouldn't be needed for the rest of the night unless something happened. Which he hoped wouldn't. Turning to head back to his own bed. Thinking to her. "I hope you feel better, in the morning... I'm not mad at you for anything. I'm just very tired.." Seeing as he had sensed that thought from her. Feeling his eyebrows come together though when he felt a presence of someone a few blocks away.

Justin frowned at Will's phone from across the room, as if the phone had offended him and not someone on the other end of the line. "Well- that went well. Should we try calling back or take that as a Nope sorry but your on your own. You figure out the mess?" He asked, as he went about getting plates then started to plate up the food once he'd shut the fire off.

Nick, while he was still Nick for the moment at least he could feel something stiring inside of him. Nicolas maybe. Seeing as while it felt forge it also felt as if he knew the feeling and he was the feeling. "James I'm sure will let himself in... lets get upstairs so that you can rest and those ribs of yours can heal up before morning." Tightening his hold on her so she didn't fall out of his arms only slightly, when she jerked.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby heard Blake and nodded her head. "Nicolas, James is coming that means the guardians will help. I don't want to go to bed, Nicolas it has been eons since we seen him. He might want verification that I am the Earth Princess and your my Prince." Ruby heard the words that came out of her mouth. "I am sorry Nick. I don't know what's wrong with me or why I kept calling you Nicolas." Deep down she knew why Avalon was awakened, and no matter how much she protested she was the same as Avalon, she wasn't. Avalon was stronger and was keeping her alive after what her body has been through the past two days. Ruby's life source was getting weaker for numerous reasons, and losing Nick and Avery were up there."Nicolas, please can't we wait for James. He's almost here. Please my love." A yawned escaped her mouth as she curled into him.

Will sensed a presence coming approaching the house and frowned. "Justin do you feel that too?" He asked cautiously he heard rumors about how the Guardians felt, but this feeling was nothing compared to the the rumors. His faced paled. "If that is what I think is why would they help now? Does it have something to do with the Earth Princess?" Will asked out loud knowing neither of them could answer it. The Guardians never helped them before why start now?

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments Nick guessed that they could wait for James. Seeing as Ruby or maybe it was Avalon clearly remembered him while he didn't recall him at all. Then again it was possible he supposed. Changing his path and heading to the living room instead. Sitting down on the couch, with her in his lap. It felt almost strange.... having her this close when he'd just been what he'd been through and was for the most part sometimes still going through it. The recovery part of it. "I guess we can wait until he arrives then.. so that he knows that it's truly you, and not someone else. " He told her, seeing her huge yawn. That was if she could stay awake long enough. Feeling it as he got closer.

Justin had started sensing it the moment it had started but had wanted to see if he was the only one feeling it or if Will sensed something as well. Carrying the plates over an handing one to Will as he started eating his own answering. " I don't know... but I bet that it has something to do with the Earth Princess. You heard how much Ruby refused to talk about it and blew you off when you kept bringing it up, plus she was awful sure that they'd help. But why would they start bothering to help now?" He asked even though he was just stating everything they'd already covered and just rephrasing Will's question that neither of them had the answer to.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby felt his presence getting closer, blinking for a few seconds waiting for him to walk through the door. She pushed herself away from Nick sensing what he was feeling. "I am fine now," she whispered in a cold voice. It was a lie,but right now she was an unneeded burdened to Nick. She tapped into a little bit of darkness to heal herself, though she may be healed there were tons of hidden scars. Images from the past two days danced through her head, and it broke her heart. A voice inside her told her to stay strong. James' presence was at the door. "Brother, come in"

Will looked at Justin. "I am going to spy on them. Stay here." It wouldn't be safe if both of them went to spy on them. He quietly ran to in the main house in the laundry room. They shouldn't be able to find out they were being watch.

Justin nodded his head, sitting back to try an relax some, before Will got back. But kept an ear on what was going on should they end up finding him out he might have to go break up something. Taking out his phone to check the time. Just after 11. Most of the pack would be in bed by now if they weren't planning or taking care of anything. Knowing that this whole thing was harder on Will then it was on him. It was still hard on him, seeing as he had to look after and lead his pack still. But Will had it worse seeing as he had a mate that was in--- bad contention to say the least. Considering they didn't know what had happened to her.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments ((Sure))

Ruby walked snapped the lights on. "James." Her eyes widened as pain spread through her body, she should have expected that. She fell to her knees. "James, I know you probably have your doubts about the Earth Princess." After all she was vampire who knew about the Guardians, and she too would be skeptical. "I swear I am Avalon." Tears rolled down her face, she was resisting using any of the power within her because it caused her nothing, but heartbreak.

Will's eyes widened. Who was Avalon and what was going on out there? He guess he would have to wait to find more until the Guardian spoke.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments James, was one of the major leaders of The Guardians. While not comeplty at the top he was high enough to have rank. An enough weight to be listened to an be taken seriously by anyone. While not the leader he was one of the oldest ones so his word held weight no matter what the case may be. And that was the reason he was here to start with, seeing as he had told them that he would be the one to go and check it out, then report back anything that he found odd or out of place. Then again a vampire- royalty no less knew about them when only weres should. So that in it's self was weird. Sensing though, as he walked through the door a presence he hadn't felt in a long, long time. Seeing the vampire come into the room. "I do have my doubts, you're right. But, I believe the first thing we should see to is your well being. Seeing as even if you are who you say you are, and if they really have come back- then you will be needing all your straight." He told her seriously. Touching his fingers to her forehead and sending life force into her to help her began to heal. Lifting her up, an carrying her back to the living room where he could feel her mate waited, or someone very important to her. Sitting her down carefully, next to the man. Looking to him for a moment sensing a hint of darkness left within him. "You've been touched by a great darkness-- that much I can tell, rather or not all of it has left you yet though, is entrially up to you, I cannot aid you in that. Now, I suppose I should ask you why I should believe that you are in fact who you say you are?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby looked at James and tilted her head some. "How else would I known about the Guardians?" Honestly she was unsure on how she would convince James that she was in fact Avalon. "It was a full moon your 8th birthday when you first shifted, which is very young. Up until then mother and father thought you were mundane. I knew what was happening before anyone did. I tried to ease as much as the pain as possible." Blinking for a moment. "After that Delilah and Nickolas meant for the first time. Mother and father were so absorbed with them that I became a parent figure to you. We were playing catch and you threw the ball and hit Nickolas. At the time I didn't realize he was the guy Delilah was supposed to marry. You knew I liked him right away." Ruby looked down at the floor pulling her knees to her chest. Grounding herself to the present. "Delilah took him away from me again, but it's much worse because he is alive and doesn't feel the same way." Ruby's voice cracked and got low as tears trickled down her face. "She has my daughter Brother. Please I need your help." Memories kept flowing in from the past as she started to let Avalon sink in. It was like him healing her trigger something, which might have been his attention. Ruby had been resisting Avalon in the fear of losing Nick and herself. Power was buzzing from every inch of her body. She could feel how close Avalon was completely awakening in her body. "You did it on purpose." Ruby was still resisting. "I don't want to lose myself or him."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 13291 comments James remembered all of what she spoke of clear as day as if it had all just happened yesterday and not over more then a hundred life times ago. Plus it only proved more then ever that she was in fact who she claimed she was seeing as he had never spoken any of this to anyone in his life time. Let alone vampires of any source. Seeing as there had been no reason for him to speak of any of this to anyone. It had all happened so long ago and after all was said and done he had become a Guardian. While they worked together an shared things among each other outside of work they didn't speak of their pasts. Never. Most of them just didn't like to talk about it an others just wanted to forget things that had happened. Taking in a deep breath as he sank down in the closest chair to him, not believing that it was possible. After all these years, Avalon was breaking out- reaching out in need of help from them to take down her sisters and to protect the earth once more. "It really is you isn't it. We all had our doubts after it being so long, you must understand. Sister, I have done nothing on purpose expect heal your wounds, even as Avalon awakens in you grow weaker. At some point if not before she awakens all the way you would of died, due to your weak condition, of your body. I merely helped heal you so that you would be able to live. I didn't intend for anything more to happen."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Ruby looked down wiping the tears away. "I understand why you healed me," she whispered. "I am just afraid of losing myself." Then memories started to float in of Blake bringing her to her parents. "They replaced me with their real daughter," she whispered quietly. "How could they do something like that?" Anger bubbled through her. "Blake," she hissed. What was the truth and was fake? Was her whole life a lie? She was furious Blake had something to do with. She flashed to his room. "You replaced me with the real Ruby. That's what they did replace me with all their daughters to protect me. I never was those people." She through him against the wall with the flick of the wrist. "I trusted you." She started to choke him with her mind. "My life is a lie because of you."
