Ruby looked down tears rolled down her face. She wasn't going to cry in front of anyone. She wasn't going to share private emotions with anyone ever again. There was no reason for her to attempt to fix her troubles in relationships if the one person she loved didn't want to be her Prince Charming. Nick was perfect in every way to her, but she guessed that didn't count.

Nick knew that he was the furthers thing from perfect. And Ruby needed to understand that. He hadn't sat around day dreaming about being someone's knight in shinning armor or someone's Prince Charming either. Seeing as he knew that he wasn't either of those things. He was when it really came down to it. A jerkoff that slept with girls and then left. That was who he'd always been before he'd meet her and they'd gotten together. She'd made him believe that he could be a better person. That he could actually have a family and that they could be happy together without anything getting in the way of that. Boy was he wrong. Nothing he'd done in the past, for her counted now. And why should it? He'd been an ass to her and now he knew that she'd shut herself out from him even if he tried to explain what had happened. But did he want to? He wondered. Was it even worth it anymore? He didn't know. Jerking his head up and sniffing the air when he smelt human blood. Close too. Shooting off and tracking it to a wounded hiker.


Blake hadn't found Nick yet and that worried him. Seeing as for all he knew he could still be out of control. And with humans in the woods walking, hiking and camping-- if any of them were hurt or injured well. They'd be dead if Nick found them. He felt cirten of that. Sniffing the air but not catching anything- yet.



After Emily's appointment four days ago she had tried her best to avoid her as best as she could. Even though it was becoming harder and harder with each passing day even though, she kept herself busy. Cooking meals with the others and caring for people that came into the clinic and a whole laundry list of other chores she had assigned herself although the others would of done them. If she'd asked for the help. But she hadn't, seeing as she still felt as if she had something to prove to them despite Emily's words of advice about taking care of herself. Right now she was busy washing the bathroom. She'd opened the windows over the tube along with the one by the door to let in some fresh air so that all the fumes didn't get to her. But it didn't seem to be helping seeing as with every passing minute she was beginning to feel more and more light headed. Letting go of a breath and walking out of the room for a moment to try and get some air back into her system that wasn't covered in fumes from the cleaners. Rubbing at her eyes now starting to see double.

Ruby could feel what Nick was feeling and thinking. She was just so in tuned to him. However, she kept her presence hidden so he couldn't sense her feelings. Her eyes blinked she clutched the counter. Her heart breaking into further pieces. Tears ran down her face. "I'm broken and I know that. I have issues and I know that, but am I that really bad of a person." She whispered softly to herself. She knew she messed up some of things. Blake could you come back she was hurt and desperate to feel some sort of emotion other than what she was feeling right now. She really needed Nick though.

Blake sensed Ruby in his head and even though he knew that he could find Nick within an hour or so more. He also sensed that Ruby needed him more. Yes Nick could make a total mess and then they'd have to clean it up and cover it up from the humans if it was bad enough. But if it came to that they'd deal with it. Popping back out of the forest and back to the kitchen where he could sense she was. Even form that far away. Holding out his arms for her like he'd done so many times in the past when she'd been hurt or betrayed by someone.

Ruby felt his arms wrap around her, but it wasn't lacking the comfort she was looking for. Tears ran down her face gently and she just felt numb all over. No matter what happened she always went back to Nick she tried so hard to protect herself from getting hurt like this, but she always did. Nick was done had given up on her she could feel that and there was no more Nick. Even if he snapped these would be feelings that he felt for a very long time. Her eyes started to slowly drift shut her body couldn't cope with it. Darkness, anger, and hate started to form around her heart to protect her from anything. In a way this was much more dangerous than turning off her emotions, because that's how dark vampires started to form. The first dark vampire was Dracula it wouldn't be long before Ruby would feel the pull of the darkness. Unless if a big changed happened before then.

Will walked past the bathroom he was avoiding Grace just as much as it seemed she was doing to him. Though he could sense something was wrong with Grace so he decided he would run by her to check her out. "Is everything okay?" he asked softly. Grace looked horrible and he wasn't sure what he could do. "Come sit down you look like you desperately need a break."

Blake felt bad for Ruby. Extremely bad in fact seeing as he had known that everything was taking a tole on Nick as well as her. He just hadn't expected this. That Nick would call her out on everything that he had, said everything that he had to her. Seeing as before- in every life time together- they had stayed together through thick and thin. But this time it appeared to be different. Seeing as right now it looked as though Nick had just given up everything that they'd worked towards. That he didn't care. Giving her a tight hug as he felt her slowly shutting down. "Hey---- I know that right now might not be the best time, but... when you were upset in peeves lives, we used to eat junk food and watch movies when they were starting to work on them or make up stories. I know it's not the same thing, or even close to it, but you wanna do a junk food night and watch something?" He asked wanting to make her feel better and right now that was the only way he knew.




Grace rubbed her eyes thankful that she had washed them before now. As Will came around the corner and asked if she was okay fallowing up with the fact that she didn't look very good and could use a rest. Desperately. Blinking a few times to try and recover from her double vision. It didn't work. Grasping onto the door jam. "I, yeah... the fumes are just a little more proponent then normal.." It was a bad excuse. Seeing as by now she was feeling herself moving back and forth as if swaying.

Ruby shook her head no. "I don't want movies or junk food. I need some time alone just stay here and watch Avery." She hissed softly moving away from Blake slowly. She got up and walked outside running swiftly to the woods. There she bend down closing her eyes focusing on everyone's memories trying to hit a refresh button on their lives. Projecting it across Nick and Avery. They would have no memories of this magical life. Nick wouldn't even be a vampire anymore. She would be able to get to know Nick on the right terms, but she felt a shock in her mind causing an extreme amount of pain. "Who's there." she hissed softly.

Will shook his head. "You're not find Grace." He scooped her up and carried her bridal style to their bedroom. "You are a bad liar. He chuckled some seeing how badly she look. "You need to take it easy. You don't have to do everything. It's a pack for a reason."

"Me." Raven had gone to check in with Nick and Ruby, but then had heard the loud yelling and Nick losing it inside the house before storming out of it. And headed to the woods in a hurry sensing just from where she had hidden herself that Nick had lost control and that was what had caused it. Listening in to Ruby and Blake's talk then fallowed Ruby to where she'd stopped. Sensing what she was trying to do. Hit a reset button of sorts. Gently breaking into her mind but enough to cause enough pain that she knew someone was there. Walking forward now to show herself. "Ruby, you don't want to do this--"



Grace felt her eyes slowly starting to shut, as he carried her to their shared room and then laid her down on the bed. "I- no. I have to--" She started to confess and tell him how she felt that she had to prove herself. Then felt herself pass out totally and completely. She felt horrible. Sick even. Trying to fight it off. Saying lightly as a feather that she wasn't even sure anyone would hear her. "stay with me.. please." And that was the very last thing she said.

Ruby looked at Raven with a quick glanced. She quickly gathered her composure. "You're right I want to let Nick and I to continue to fall apart more each day. Instead of resetting everything and falling in love again. Because it's not like Nick knows I'm a lightweight. He knows he controls my heart and that I'm easy to break.((Totally took some of that from a song lol)) But you know what I don't fix things with him. Thank you for showing me fault in my plans." Ruby disappeared quickly.

Will caught her and scooped her up. He walked to their place and sat her on the bed. He shook his head slightly knowing that Grace had over done it. If she wasn't any better her would take her to the human doctors.

That wasn't what Raven had meant. Giving chase after Ruby finding her faster then she had thought possible. And slamming her against the tree. "Okay. If this is the only way I can get you to listen to me so be it! Ruby look at me. I know things suck with you and Nick, I know life sucks sometimes. Heck, almost all the time. But that's not the point. I know what you were going to do, and what you'll become if you do it as well. I've been there. It's a very dark place. So, we can either talk about this or-- well you know. I make you listen to me and we both know how well that goes."


Grace felt herself being carried. Breaking her eyes open just enough to make out Will. And there room. Reaching out to him, unknowingly. "Mmm, Will--" She felt horrible. It had to be from all the fumes that were in the cleaners and then again-- she had, had suspicions that she could be with child. Their child. But she hadn't said anything or even done a actual test yet. It was just a feeling.

"Resetting my life isn't something unusual. I have done it before. Raven I don't have any clue what you are talking about." And in all honestly she was clueless. "I was going to erase our memories again nothing unusual. I will become nothing if I do that." Her eyes widened for a moment something was wrong she couldn't sense Nick. Ruby blinked to Blake. "I can't sense him what's going on?"

"It's okay, just rest." Will said softly. "If you aren't any better soon I will take you the doctors. You know better than to over work yourself. I know we are short with people, but that doesn't mean you have to everything."

Raven groaned as she flashed out of sight. Back to her house she guessed. Taking off after her then going on in when the door was still wide open. She might not know what she was talking about but Raven herself could sense what would happen if she did it this time around and it wasn't good. Not good at all. Seeing Blake and Ruby talking two rooms away. Leaning against the wall frame to wait for them to finish.



Blake had gone to go look for Nick again. Try and talk some since into him or something. When Ruby had popped into the room sensing Raven a little bit away as well. But focused his attention on Ruby right now. "I'm not sure, Mates can always sense each other, even when there far away from each other and regardless of what's going on between them. But-- there's one thing that could do it that hasn't happened in-- decades."



Grace groaned slightly trying to wake up. Hearing that he'd take her to the doctors soon if she didn't get any better. "Will--- Em, Emily's pregnant. I wanted to tell you.. but." She was talking none since. She had meant to tell him about the unexplained pregnancy that Emily was having unsure rather she had gone to the human doctors to have it removed yet though because she hadn't seen Emily in a few days and she'd been running herself ragged. But Emily's words about everything had stuck with her.

Ruby looked up at Blake. "Unless if he broke the connection." she whispered softly. Would Nick break their connection that they had? Did he even want to try to work things out with her? "Wait there's another possibility?" She focused on the connection, for a good solid moment. It wasn't there. Nick please, don't do this. I need you. Avery needs you. You can't just leave like this you did with those girls. I'm not like those girls. I believed in you. I believed you were different and saw a side of you that was my prince charming. You saved me from the darkness of my life so many times, you made me believe in love. Please don't' do this Ruby was broken down and helpless, defeated. Please come back. The darkness wrapped itself around her heart. "Blake I don't think he is coming back." She just had a sinking feeling about it.

"Grace, Emily's gone missing. Other packs females have gone missing too. Everyone in the pack knows about this. We discussed this at the pack meeting the other day." Will knew Grace was there because she took attendance, but was she running herself down so much that she didn't even remember what was going on?

Raven didn't know about the other possibility so they were both lost about that when Blake brought it up. Stepping forward now and clearing her throat. "I know it might not be the best time for this... but what I do have to say is very important, and it'll explain what I was trying to tell you about in the woods." She told Ruby looking between the two of them.


Blake had gone to say that he might of very well already broken the link between them or he could of just shut it down for now and would pick it up later on. When he saw Raven move forward and heard about something important she had to say and caught the look of-- worry maybe? In her eyes. Nodding. "Very well, what is it you've got to say?"



That couldn't be right.. could it? She'd spoken with Emily just a few days ago.. But she also remembered going to the meeting, and them talking about, something. Something important. Thinking back on it hard, recalling it now. Then shaking her head. "What about Jake? Is he still here or did he go missing as well..."

Nick didn't answer her. She just wanted them to stop. "Please guys stop it. I am fine. Nothing is wrong with me." The darkness from within wasn't controlling her it wouldn't control her. Ruby was much more powerful then any darkness even in her weakest state she was still quite powerful. "I'm going to go on a walk alone please don't follow me." Some of the powers she had within she didn't even know she had.

"Grace you mean Nate?" Will asked frowning a little bit. "Maybe we should get you to the doctor." He said softly unsure on what could be wrong with her.

Blake nodded as Raven did the same. He'd listen to her, once Ruby was gone for her walk. Then maybe they'd be able to hash something out. Hopefully. For both Ruby and Nick's sake. "Alright. I'll still be here when you get back.." He told her then let her go. Then once she was out the door turned to Raven. "Now, what is it that is so important?"


Raven listened for Ruby's foot falls to fade away then once they did she began talking. ((Would you mind doing Blake for this part?))


Grace hadn't even remembered Nate's name. Thinking that it had been Jake. Jake was someone else's mate all together. Feeling her eyes start to drift close again. "Doctor--" Was it just the over does of smelling so many cleaners at once or was Will right and something really wrong with her? Reaching up and reaching for his hand.

Ruby sighed and looked when was the last time she fed. It could have been weeks. She was just as bad as Nick when it came to feeding. Or maybe it was Nick's hunger that was spreading through her. It was very unclear to her. She kept walking and glanced up and saw Mike.

"You seem to have broke my dear little brother." Mike said with a smile. ((Could you play Mike?))

Blake sighed for moment. "Come sit down." He said softly wondering what she had to say.

Raven fallowed Blake into the kitchen area sitting down at the little island bar area that was in the middle of it. Before she started speaking. "I know that me and Ruby don't have the best history ever. And I don't have these very often, but when I do it's usually for a very good reason. But, last night, I had a- a type of vision I guess you would call it. It might not come true, but in this case, I think it's best we keep an eye on her. Blake, if we can't get Nick back under control, Ruby, she's going to go dark. And I don't mean just shut off her emotions and 'don't give a crap' anymore dark. I mean 'dark dark.' As in how Dracula went dark, she might not react the same way he did but, either way, it wont be good. For any of us."

Ruby bit the inside of her mouth. "What do you want Mike? I don't want to deal with you. Unless if you know a way to get Nick back to normal then leave." She hissed ready to fight of Mike at any moment. "We should go somewhere more private if you want to discuss anything."

Blake sighed. "You see I haven't been able to find Nick. And when I did try to talk sense into him he wouldn't listen." He paused for a second. "There's a hunter near by take Avery out of here now." He hissed getting up. "I will go check on Ruby."


Will sighed softly and looked down. He would let her rest for now, but other than that he would wait. If she got worse he would rush her to the ER.

Mike had been looking for his brother. To tell him about what was happening, with the hunters. Even though Nick had been turned into a vampire and he was still a hunter he liked to keep in touch when ever possible. Only to find him strung out and out of his mind. He had fought him but hadn't staked him. He seemed to get the message but-- then he'd run off. So maybe not. Then had come across Ruby, no doubt out looking for Nick. "Getting vamps back to normal isn't my thing, unless it's my little brother. And from the looks of things, what ever set him off did a real number on him. A walk in the woods would do." He offered. He didn't care for vamps but he wasn't setting out to hurt Ruby or Nick.



Raven nodded, standing back up to go get Avery and get out of here. "I'll try and find Nick when I have a chance, and the hunter's dealt with. Then I'll let you know what I find, if anything." Going and getting Avery then flashing out of the house.



Grace fell unconscious. Hearing only a faint sigh, at the very end of it. But it wasn't a peaceful sleep. Instead it was filled with nightmares and past faults and horrors.

Ruby nodded and started to walk to the woods. "I know getting vamps back to normal isn't your concern, but Nick is." she paused for a second looking down. "What happened was easy. I told him that no matter what he thought that he was my prince charming. That he may have some quirks or makes mistakes, but I still love him. He isn't perfect, but I don't want perfect, I want Nick. Well apparently that wasn't what he wanted to hear because now he doesn't want to be a prince charming for anyone." She was rushing Mike along quickly. A buzzing in her ears started to from she wrinkled her face.

Blake started to search for Ruby. There's a hunter on the prowl. I had Raven take Avery.

Ruby rolled her eyes. She couldn't let Mike know about Blake or Avery. "So why did you want to find Nick?"

Mike nodded slightly. "You're right. Nick is my responsibility even if he is a vamp. To check in, see how things were going with my little brother. Plus I wanted to let him know about mom and dad... I know how you feel about humans, but I thought that he at least deserved to know. I'm sorry, Nick can be... stubborn at the best of time and, well *he stopped and chuckled* right out mean at his worst. Although with you- you changed him. You made him better. So don't let him being mean and like this change you. If I know my little brother sooner or later he'll regret this and come back."

Ruby didn't respond. What could she in to response to this? "Did you know he broke our connection? He doesn't want to fix us. I can understand I am unlovable. All the people I love break my heart, I don't know why this happens, but it does." She whispered softly. "The only thing I have done is become that girl who is dependable on her boyfriend for everything. I'm not letting anything change me." The buzzing in her ear grew louder. Nick wasn't coming back she felt that the thought grew stronger and she felt her legs shaking. Her eyes sensed the blood pumping through Mike's veins what was happening.

Mike thought on his words for a moment despite the fact that Ruby was a vampire the thought of that kind of life sounded lonely, even the life of a hunter was lonely but at least you had something. Where as that- he didn't know how she could deal with that. "No I didn't... Ruby,--I can't speak for my brother, and I wont pretend to. But I will tell you this about him. He's never loved anyone as much as he loves you. I've seen him go through girls like one would go through a bag of chips during a football game on game day Sunday. I've kept tags on him through out the last couple of years, made sure he was doing okay, all that brotherly stuff. He might of broken the connection between the two of you, but the moment he comes out of the state he's in, right now--- he wont be able to live with himself knowing what he did to you. If he didn't love you as much as it seems he does, despite what he might of said and done, he would of walked out a long time ago."

Ruby shook her head. Something was seriously wrong she was pretty good at controlling her hunger. The darkness was swallowing her rapidly. "Mike I want you to go get Nick. I don't care what you have to do to get him to come to this spot, but get Nick." She hissed seriously. Blake something is wrong If she didn't get Nick right away she wouldn't be able to control herself. "Now." she snapped you could see that she was fighting something off. Hunger spread through every inch of her body. She collapsed to her knees trying to fight off the darkness inside of her.

Mike didn't know Ruby all that well but even he saw that something was wrong. As if she was trying to fight something off. Nodding then dashing off to go get his brother. Hopefully he'd come willingly and he wouldn't have to do too much damage to him. Too bad he couldn't say the same about the damage control. Finding him in almost the same spot he'd found him earlier. "Nick come on... Ruby needs you, I don't know what's eating at her man but- it's not good."


Nick had broken the connection to get back at Ruby. For everything. It hadn't hurt like she had always said it would though. Maybe it was just because he was out of control and couldn't really feel the pain. Seeing Mike come back up to him saying that Ruby needed him shaking his head. "No, she's just saying that so that I'll come back to her. It's me doing all of this that's eating her up can't you see that? You're a damn hunter Mike, of all people you should be able to see THAT."


Mike shook his head.. at least he seemed to be-- some what better. Although his mouth was covered in blood and so was his hands with blood all over his shirt. This was going to be a hell of a mess to clean up. "Look, it's not that. I know I don't know her as well as you do but--- it's not that. It's something else."



Blake heard Ruby and flashed to her kneeling down next to her. "What's wrong/ Talk to me... what does it feel like?" He had taken Raven's words seriously because he'd seen this with her before. The year had been 1568 in England and she had almost gone dark. And then she had. They'd tried to get her back but they hadn't been able to, and the only way that they'd been able to stop her was to- to stake her. It had nearly destroyed Nick but it had to be done. So he just hoped that Raven wasn't right and what she saw last night wasn't already coming true.

Ruby felt her heart racing she could hear the pumping in ear. She could see what Nick and Mike talking, but she wasn't there. It was like the darkness was trying to break her. "Something is wrong. I'm so thirsty all I want to do is rip into the flesh of human. I can feel my power wanting to come out." Ruby hissed softly. "Nick isn't coming Blake he's doing this on purpose to get back at me." Tears ran down her face. "It's so strong. I can sense everything Nick is feeling towards me despite not knowing his location. I can't fight it off. That's when the buzzing noise took over her at last." Ruby went silent for a moment that could have seem liked years. "Nick wants to play who can hurt each other the most." She focused on Mike and started to squeeze his heart with her mind.

huh oh this was not good... not good at all. Blake thought as he saw the change come over her. It had happened so fast. And now Raven's vision was coming true after only twenty four hours of her seeing it if that. "Ruby- look at me... this isn't you. Avery needs her mother... think about Avery."


Mike was about to say that if he didn't come he was going to toss his ass down and drag him there when he felt his heart start being squeezed by unseen hands. Gasping at his chest. "Nick-- this., Owe.. Bloody hell man, just go to her.. I don't give a crap how pissed off you are!"


Nick glared at his brother still not fully believing it but then again, Mike had nothing to gain by lying to him about this either. "Fine. I'll go... but then after it's sorted out I'm leaving." He told him seeing him grip at his chest.

Ruby looked at Blake and shook her head. "Avery doesn't need me. She needs Nick." she hissed. Ruby wanted to fight so hard, but at the same time she didn't want to fight. Everyone in her life would be better off without her anyways. "Nick's leaving me." she whispered softly. "Why should I continue fighting for something that is already gone?" Tears ran down her face quickly she could sense Nick coming closer to her. "What does he want? Does he think I'm going to beg for him?" She pushed herself to her feet.

"Nick what do you want? Because last I'm check you don't love me and I guess the same could go my way too." Ruby smiled wickedly.

Nick had finally agreed to go check on her, but had left his brother where he had been at least he wasn't dead. Seeing as even as out of control he was he'd still be effected by that. Not feeling Ruby as pronounced as he would of if they'd still had the connection but felt her faintly as he got closer to her. Stopping a ways from where she was, seeing that Blake had come as well. "Well, my brother thought I'd best come check on you, for some reason. Went on and on about how you weren't yourself.. blah blah. Clearly you're feeling better though, since your standing."




Blake didn't like this. Ruby he felt had just gone dark and that would be dangerous. While Nick was still out of control and might not even have his emotions on any longer either. So the two of them together- even just talking- could pose a danger. Standing up and watching the two of them closely should he had to jump in.

"Sweetheart, if you think me standing is me feeling better than you must have lost some IQ points from turning off your emotions or even breaking off the connection." Ruby glared at him. "If your in the mood for breaking things let me just go to the second best thing, Avery." She moved a little closer to Nick. "You see turning off your emotions is child's play. You can never fully turn off you emotions, but going dark is a totally different story. I feel like Mike has a moments to live before I squeezed the rest of his pathetic life out of his body." With a flicker of a hand she mentally pulled Nick to his knees. "Blake this power is amazing."

Oh dear lord, Raven was right... he should of insisted that she stay with them, instead of letting her take the walk with Mike. He should done something to get her to stay. But then again- would she of still gone dark and if she had, at the house would she have taken out Raven and Avery? That was-- that wouldn't be good. Looking at her when she spoke to him.



Nick lifted an eyebrow. Then groaned as he was forced to his knees. "Let's get one thing clear, dear. You touch my brother and I'll be having you for breakfast, same goes for Avery." He had shut off his emotions, but he still had some breaking through. Unlike she had when she shut hers off. Using some of his own power that he had and broke her hold on him standing up again.

"You honestly must believe that I have my emotions turned off?" Ruby laughed and shook her head. "No you listen to me dear, I have emotions. Even when I turn my emotions off I have my emotions. Despite what you might think I do. " She shot energy towards him. "This is for betraying." Another bolt of energy went out at him. "This is for making me believe in love. This is for making me thinking you were different." One last bolt was sent towards him. "This is for making me love you." She snapped at him pulling him to the ground again and walked to him looking in his face. "I'm done acting helpless. You are going to walk away and leave me like all the other boys did to me. You're the worse kind of man making me believe that you actually loved and cared for me. But the funny thing is you're nothing without. You're just a vampire who could shrivel up and dye. No one would care." She leaned forward and kissed him passionately. "This is what you will be missing."At this moment she wanted to squeeze the life out of Mike, but something inside of her was stopping her.

Blake watched as the whole thing played out not daring to move just in case his movement or anything he did made Ruby react and go after him or went after Nick even worse then she already was. Thinking that after this all got settled he'd be going to Raven's to speak more about this with her.


The bolts of energy hurt but not nearly as bad as they should of. He thought. Listening to her taunt him and speak about everything he'd done wrong. And what he'd be missing when he walked away from here. Finding himself almost hating her but not quit hate either. Leaning forward and carpeting her mouth again and kissing her.

Ruby froze for a second and her eyes widened. Why was he kissing her?He didn't love her anymore, he was going to leave her. She pulled away knowing she couldn't sink into the kiss. "Why are you kissing me? You hate me?" Her voice quiet and vulnerable. Could she trust this kiss or was this just a poly to get away?

Yes, he was still planing on leaving her but he would also miss some things about her even if he'd never say it. And his emotions where off which only showed how little he didn't care. Looking at her when she pulled away form the kiss. It was a- a good buy kiss he guessed he could call it. Even if it was a poly at the same time. Hearing how vulnerable she sounded when she pulled away from it. Shrugging his shoulders. "It seemed like the thing to do at the moment."

Ruby looked down for a moment and started to laugh. His kiss was a sense of reality that cleared her mind a little bit. "I think it's funny that you think a kiss will let me let you go." She gripped him down harder with her mind. Ruby had two options let me him go or force his emotions on so he could save her. "Let's see all you are is a player. You would rather leave your daughter because you were too coward to try to fix things with me. Now I know I'm not the best person to try to fix things out, but you should cut me some slack. It's boys like you who messed me up. I guess I have no choice, but to return the favor of pain and misery." Hopefully Blake could join in. Her eyes widened as they turned dark black. It was a risk tapping into the dark magic, but it was a risk she would take to save her family. She forced a wave emotions on to him with everything she had. Ruby wasn't used to how much power she had which was another major risk, but the outcome would be worth it.


"You know what's the right thing do at this moment. Me forcing on your emotions." She hissed. "Of course you could turn them back off, but I don't think you will." Forcing wave after wave of emotions was getting tiring.

Will looked down and sat her gently on the bed. Popping her head up with a couple of pillows. He walked out and sat some water on her nightstand. What, happened to them? It was love at first sight, but the only issue was Raven. Why was this even an issue, he was mates with Grace. He sighed looking down.

Nick groaned feeling the pain kick in, she was forcing his emotions on. And it hurt. A lot. Tipping his head back. "Why?? I wouldn't of left Avery without a father, I would of agreed to joint custody if that was what you wanted!" Feeling plus after plus of emotions being slammed into him. She had totally lost her mind! This was-- just crazy. And why wasn't Blake stopping her?? He should of been right?


Raven wasn't the issue, Grace had gotten over that so many years ago. And she should be over what had happened between him and (what was her name? Ava?) but she couldn't get past that. Not as easily as she should at least. And even then, now that she knew what she'd done in her antecedent with all the males here-- and the fact that the baby that Emily had been carrying and could still be carrying was Will's just-- not Emily's because Ava had transferred that child to Emily.. she couldn't handle that. And it made her want to prove to everyone that she, and her only could take care of everything on her own. But it was wearing her out. Maybe even faster then it should. Feeling her eyes fall shut again as she heard him come back in.

Blake wasn't stopping her could he sense what she was trying to do? She could feel his emotions coming back on she was almost there. One more pulse was sent. Grounding herself she was shaking. "I'm not crazy nor have I lost my mind." She hissed creating a connection between Nick and her once again. Ruby wasn't used to her Elder powers that she possessed on top the darkness in her anyone would quickly burn out. "I suppose you have your emotions on again. If you try to turn them off, I'm sure Blake will force them back on." Her voice soften. She fell to her knees. "Nick I need you to save me. I know all of your emotions are going to be coming at you all at once, but I need you listen to my voice."

Will didn't know about Emily or Ava. All he knew was Grace and him weren't the same as they once were.

Blake could sense what she was trying to do, and he just hoped that it worked for once and once it was done, Nick would save her from this fate instead of walking away.


Nick was painting by the time it was over. It had been so painful and intense. Now all of his emotions that he'd shut off just an hour ago, were back on and in full gear. Swirling around inside him without any clue on what to do. Closing his eyes and trying to focus on something. Hearing Ruby's voice in his ears.


Grace had fallen into sleep, about an hour ago, and it hadn't been a peaceful sleep. It had been full of nightmares and past horrors. Some of them had happened in her life and others had just been there, without reason. Although Eva had been there, she'd see her while she'd been gone. How things had changed. And how they might of still been today had they not been able to stop her. And then there was the one where she had seen her doing the spell that had cast the unborn child into Emily while she slept and didn't expect a thing. Jack knifing up on the bed and looking around breathing hard.

"Please Nick, save me." Ruby whispered it was getting harder to focus. "I need you." Her whole body was shaking. Her face was deathly pale. Tears ran down her face. She was fighting off the darkness for now, but how much longer could she do it. "Nick.....p-p-lea-se." She started to struggle to have words come out of her mouth.
