Avery looked at Nick and smiling at him. "Mamma." She pointed at Ruby. Ruby looked down was she taking place of her mother she didn't mean for this to happen. "Mamma." Avery giggled. Ruby quickly sat her down. Avery started to bawl she wanted to be held. "Mamma." She reached out for Ruby to picked her up.

"Nick she thinks I'm her mother doesn't that seem a little off to you or wrong?" Ruby asked.

"Shhh baby girl.." Nick said picking her back up and starting to try and clam her. "No, well maybe a little. But I can't say that I don't find it cute. Seeing as you've been with us so much that in a way I think in some way she started thinking of you as a mother a long time ago." Nick didn't find it odd at all or even wrong. Seeing as in Ruby's mind Avery had never known her mother. But it was also cute that Avery had started to think of Ruby as her mother, seeing as it was a good thing. At least she would have a female in her life.

Ruby looked at him and nodded slowly. "It's wrong Nick I'm not her mother. I'm no ones mother." Avery started crying even more after she said that. She didn't know why her mother would say. Ruby backed away with tears falling down her face. "I'm not her mother Nick. I'm just her baby sitter." Looking down. "I found a house." She whispered. "I can leave." It didn't seem like Nick and her were going anywhere.

Avery looked at her. "Mamma no mamma." She looked at her father."No." Avery was really upset she couldn't lose her mother.

"What's wrong with it? I don't get it... yes your her baby sitter. But it also doesn't mean that she can't look at you as a mother. You've been living with us for so long that-- you can understand why she would. She loves you. " He said then it sunk in that she had told him that she had found a house. Looking down when he heard Avery saying no and mama. She didn't want Ruby to go. And if he was going to be totally honest with himself. Neither did he. He would miss her so much if she moved away. Yeah, they would see each other every day when she came over to take care of Avery. But it wouldn't be the same. Biting his lip as he leaned down and kissed Avery's head, before sitting her down knowing already that it would already cause her to fuss more. But he needed to talk to her out in the hallway for a moment. "Can we have a word?" He asked nodding towards the door so that she would get the hint.

Ruby walked out into the hall. "Is there something wrong Nick?" She was already on the verge of tears. "I'm not going to replace her real mother. Avery is getting it wrong. I'm just a babysitter and I love how she cares about and I care about her, but I can't have he think that I'm her real mother. That's a lie and I'm not wanting a little girl to think it." Looking down. "It was my mistake for staying here as long as I did." Nick didn't care she felt like he was staying far apart from her because of her calling him her Prince.

"No nothings wrong.. I just---" He stopped trying to think of a way to re-phrase that. Then went on. "Look, nothings wrong. And I'm not upset that she thinks of you as a mother. I think it's a good thing actually. Seeing as she never actually meet her mother, and she wouldn't remember her even if she had. But I do think that it's good that she has you, she needs a female role model in her life. Seeing as I'll only be able to do so much for her.----- I'm not trying to force you to- to become her--- steep mom. Seeing as I wouldn't feel right about forcing you to do that. But--- if you want to even though we're not technically together.. I wouldn't have a problem with it.......... And, if you decide that the house is to big or lonely or whatever.. your always welcome to come back and live with us if you decide to move into it."

"Am I suppose to believe that Avery doesn't remember her mother? Am I suppose to believe that she is calling me mamma because she wants to or because there is a reason. I would love to be her real mother, but being a step-mom isn't the same." Looking down. "Your hiding something from me I just know you are. Last month while cleaning I found this photo of us kissing in the rain. On the back it marks the one year anniversary. There is a problem I don't remember this. I trust you I really do, but what's going on"

He remembered that photo, and when it had been taken. It had been taken the night of their one year anniversary. He had taken her out to dinner, just a little whole in the wall place. It wasn't anything fancy, or anything. But the food was always good, when he had gone. So he had decided to surprise her by taking her there sense he had told her about it a few times but they'd never gotten around to going there. On the way home it had started to rain, and they hadn't brought an umbrella plus they had been walking. But they hadn't cared. Seeing as they had been so happy to be together they had started dancing in the rain, and then had someone snap the photo of them kissing after the dance. He had tried to store away all the photos of them together, after he had gotten ride of her memories so that she wouldn't see them and somehow remember. Letting out a breath, as he thought about that night again. So it was more of a happy sigh than anything else. "Str---- Ruby,.... I didn't want to tell you.... but I guess now I kind of have too." he said slowly starting to reach out for her.

Ruby looked at him. "What do you have to tell me?" She asked. Her eyes looked up at him. She Avery crying she turned to look at the room. Her eyes soften some. Tears ran down her face. Her memories were scratching at her mind. "Nick I love you really much and you love me. I love my baby girl." Nothing else was coming back to her. "That is all that counts." She smiled softly. "I don't want to leave you guys this my home."

"Mamma." Avery said reaching for Ruby. Smiling when she picked her up and giggled. Turning to look at her father. "Mamma stay"

As long as she didn't recall all the problems they used to have maybe they'd still have a shoot at making this their new start. Despite what the Elder had said when he had shown up and shot Ruby with the arrow. He didn't care, what they thought. They would, somehow, someway get their happily ever after. Everything else didn't matter, seeing as everything else could be worked out along the way. He thought as she picked up Avery and his little girl looked at him and-- said that mama stay. Nodding his head looking at Ruby and Avery nodding. "Yeah, Mamma stay."

"I don't remember memories, but I remember feelings." Ruby said bouncing Avery softly. She smiled at her daughter. "I love you so much." She kissed her forehead. "Can you say dada?" She asked. Avery smiled at her mother and giggled.

"Dayda." Avery said smiling trying her best. Ruby smiled and laughed a little bit.

"Good try baby girl." Ruby said.

Nick smiled softly as he watched his baby girl and her mother. They fit so perfectly together he thought. Taking a few steeps and resting a hand on Ruby's waist. "It's okay, we can have a fresh start." He said then looked over at Avery with a bright smile saying "Who's that?" Pointing a finger at Ruby.

"Mamma." Avery giggled liked it was the most obvious thing in the world. Ruby smiled and nodded at Nick. She really liked him and hoped she could live up to the memories that weren't there. "Mamma." Avery said smiling.

Nick smiled laughing lightly, when Avery answered so easily. Like it was the most normal thing in the world to call Ruby mamma. Well she was mamma. And she did remember the feeling of it, but nothing really more than that. "And who am I?" He asked giving a smile at her, again.

"Dayda." Avery smiled. "Dayda and Mamma" She was really happy. She wanted down to crawl.

"Honey you can't crawl in the hallway." Ruby said. "Nick we are going to have to find a play room in the house."

Nick smiled again then looked at Ruby when she said that they needed to find a play room in the house for her to crawl in and everything. "I'll see if I can't find one. Seeing as they should of set one up while they were getting the house ready." He said kissing Avery's head and then Ruby's check. "She can always play in the living room until we find it though."

Ruby nodded and smiled. She blushed softly. Looking at her baby girl. "I love you Avery." She whispered. "Nick I want to homeschool her. I feel that being in regular school would be dangerous because of something." Not remembering about being a vampire. "I don't want to take any chances." Avery skirmed in her mother's arms. Ruby walked down the stairs and put the baby gate up. She set her down near her toys. Avery smiled as she crawled around with her elephant.

"Okay, we can check on that when the time comes. But she'll also need to make friends, so maybe taker her to-- I don't know. A park maybe and just let her play there for a while, see how does around other kids her age when she grows a bit more." He said knowing that if she didn't make friends she would be lonely and he didn't want his little girl to feel that way ever. Looking at her as she started to crawl around with her little stuffed elephant.

Ruby sat down on the couch. She didn't speak. "Well its up to you I mean just because I feel like I'm her real mother doesn't make it so." Looking down some. "Listen for a second I don't remember and I don't know why, but I do know school was awful for me. I was picked on because I was different and smart. She's smart and her brain is going to progress more than a normal human." Her eyes wandered up to him. "I'm sorry for speaking this way to you. It feels like something is trying to break out of my mind."

"No, it's okay. I value your opinion on these things. So I don't blame you at all for speaking your mind. I'm not saying that I want her to go to public school. I agree. I think we should home school her. But I also think that we should make it a point to take her out places on weekends or whenever we have time so that she can try and make friends." He said sitting down next to her on the coach. "We'll work it out, together."

Avery crawled up to Nick reaching her arms up. "Dayda." She said didn't realize that she was saying it wrong nor did she care. Avery looked at Ruby and started to force her memories to come through.

Ruby sighed. "Something just feels so off." Her eyes widened at the pain. "Nick." She whispered. "It hurts so much. Something is wrong." She could feel her memories coming through. She whimpered softly.

Nick bent down and picked up Avery, looking over when he heard Ruby start saying that something hurt. "Breath... just try and stay clam" Not realizing that it was Avery that was making it happen... yet.

"Mamma remember." Avery giggled.

"I can't Nick." Staying calm wasn't an option. "It hurts." She whispered. "No I don't want to remember. I want a fresh start." She snapped not realizing her daughter was doing it.

"I know, but you have to trust me when I tell you that I'm not the one doing this.. trying to make you remember." He said, then looked down at Avery having not noticed what she had said. "No. Stop it, Avery. Your hurting mamma." Seeing as that was the only other logical reason that she'd be remembering.

"Mamma stay mamma stay." Avery said looking at Nick with a smile. She thought she was helping by forcing her mother to remember.

Ruby looked as the pain begin to dwindled. She was upset and in a lot of pain. She wanted to be angry,but how could she snap at Avery.

"Yes, mamma stays. But you have to stop it right now, okay? Because mamma's head is starting to hurt." He told her looking at Avery hopping that she'd understand enough that she'd stop. And that would make Ruby's pain stop as well.

Ruby smiled softly. "Yes mamma hurt." She was smiling softly. Her baby was growing up. Avery stopped it frowning some. Tears watered in her eyes as she started to cry. Ruby reached for her and bounced her up. "Its okay mamma is okay" she whispered in her ears.

Nick had let her take Avery from him seeing as he thought right now she needed her mother instead of him trying to explain all of it to her. Seeing as she was still to young to understand. Thinking that he'd ask her about rather or not she was going to be okay when Avery was calmed down some and she was busy playing again.

"Mamma okay?" Avery asked softly. Ruby nodded her head yes and wiped her daughter's tears.

"Shhh it's okay baby girl. I promise mamm's okay now." Kissing her forehead and smiled when she closed her eyes and started to fall asleep. She picked her up and set her in the play pen as well as her elephant. "Sweet dreams baby girl." Ruby looked over at Nick and tackled him gently. "I missed you despite not really going anywhere."

Nick had watched as Avery had slowly but surly feel asleep for a nap. Smiling and laughing softly when she tackled him gently. Wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into his lap so that she was sitting in his lap with her head under his chin. "I missed you too... I know what you mean. But we can still try and have a fresh start, if you want too."

Ruby smiled softly she didn't want to answer that. "I realized trying to have a fresh start was a good idea in theory, but its only running from our problems. We always get through it and we will get through this." She said. "Avery is getting so big and the elders are going to keep persisting we hand her over. She's powerful Nick.".

"Okay, then we'll work through it all together, like we always do.... don't worry, we'll make sure that they don't lay a hand on her. I wasn't joking when I said that I'd do anything to protect both of you from them. I meant it. I know, she is... because she has us as her parents. A vampire Queen and a vampire that the Queen made that was once just a normal football playing jock, that was a jerk most of the time, before he meat you."

Ruby looked up at him. "Are you trying to sweet talk me?" Asking with a smile. "Because if you are you have to remember the Vampire Queen is afraid of getting close to people and she got close to this guy. And this guy turned out to be the best thing that she ever had."

Nick smiled feeling a silent laugh inside of himself but nothing came out but a smile. "Would it be so horrible if I said yes?" He said with a light smile knowing that she wouldn't mind if he joked with her. "Well-- I think that... this guy really wants to kiss you."

Grace was couching down behind the bushes that was by the border that lead to the compound. Looking over at Raven as she heard her move. "We can't just sit here... we need to get him out of there." It had been driving her crazy ever sense they had finalized the plan. Get in without being detected, find Will and get him out. It was that simple. She knew all the guard change times and yet they were still sitting her. It had been almost a week sense she had last seen her mate. Even though it felt a lot longer than that to her. At least Raven and her had come to agreement and she was willing to help get him out. How long the agreement would last though, she didn't know. Although she doubted it would last any longer once Will was safe and back with them.

Ruby smiled. "Well I the Vampire Queen would let this guy kiss her any time." She whispered against his lips. "Because she loves this guy very much and they have a wonderful little girl together.

Nick smiled feeling the warm air bounce into his face as she talked seeing as they were so close and her mouth was so close to his. Leaning his head forward slightly so that their foreheads touched , as she finished saying that she'd let him kiss her anytime because they had a wonderful little girl together. Not bothering to answer seeing as he could tell that she would sense it in him. That he agreed that their little girl was wonderful. And possibly the best thing that had ever happened to him besides Ruby herself. Closing the distance and kissing her.

Ruby smiled softly kissing him softly. She loved him so much and Avery. She would not want to have anything else any other way. Wrapping his arms around his neck pulling herself closer to Nick. She was happy to have alone time with Nick after so long without any memory. Deepening the kiss some.

Nick smiled as he felt her kiss him back, tightening his hold slightly on her. But making sure not to hurt her either. Kissing her back, glad that after everything they had some alone time together. Knowing that Avery was still asleep in the crib that they had downstairs. But she'd be out for a while still seeing as they had just put her down for a nap not even five minutes ago.

Ruby moved her neck to his lips letting him kissing it. She could feel her heart pumping fast like a race horse. "You haven't fed in awhile Nick feed." She whispered she could feel herself melt away at his touch. "I tell you this all the time and you don't listen." Part of her was afraid she would lose control over her own mind she knew Nick wouldn't do it on purpose, but it would still happen. She quickly pulled away. Looking down. "Sorry I love your touch and kisses its just I melt away and lose focus quickly."

Will was in chains. He had cuts and bruises all over him. He looked awful. They teased him with wolvesbane. Another whip hit him.He wouldn't let his wolf gain control knowing thats what that's what they wanted. "I don't know where Grace is." He hissed. They were so close to breaking him. The next whip had wolvesbane on it. He screamed his eyes flashed blue.

Nick let her pull away from him when he started kissing her neck. Knowing that she had to be melting from it and that would be bad, if he somehow lost control of the whole thing. He would never do it on purpose, but it was possible that he'd do it without even realizing it until it was too late. Resting his hands on her thighs seeing as she hadn't moved off his lap but they were now at a reasonable distance that they could both think clearly without loosing focus. "I know,--- but with everything that's been going on I haven't had time to feed. Maybe we should try and get some blood bags, store them in the fridge. That way-- nothing bad happens." He said knowing she'd get what he was really saying.

Ruby looked at him realizing that she should back away. Her heart started pumping really hard again. Moving closer to Nick closing the distance. "We shouldn't be fighting it." She wanted to fight it, but it was hard to fight it. Kissing his neck softly knowing he would break. Nipping it gently. She was tired of fighting every single day. She just wanted to give up and move with the way of things. She pulled herself closer moving her lips to his letting them crash together. Not caring that giving up will throwing away everything they worked towards.

Derek had been assigned to break the half-breed. To get information form him, about how he had come to be this way, and to get him to spill where Grace was at. So far though he hadn't gotten much on where they could find Grace. Which was too bad for him. Seeing as he would get the information out of him on where his mate was. Even if that meant finding her himself and dragging her in and torturing her while they made him watch while they tortured his mate to get the other information out of him. Setting the bottle of wolfbane back down on the table, seeing as he had added a bit to the last hit but chose not to with this one. Hit him again on the back. "Where is she??"


Nick knew that it was bad idea, but when she had moved closer to him again and had nipped at his neck like she had... there was no hope left. He crumbled. Thinking that if she asked him to do anything in that moment he'd do it. He wasn't under her control and she wasn't under his either. But he was just--- lost to all else when it came to her. And even Avery for that matter seeing as he would do anything to make sure that his wi--- Ruby and his daughter were always safe and protected. Thinking that it was amazing that they weren't even married. He hadn't even asked her yet... but he was already starting to think of her as his wife.



Raven had told Grace countless times that the plan sounded simple but it would take just the right timing or else they'd be caught and hailed in and locked up along side Will. And then there would be no rescue. They'd have to break themselves out. And breaking in was a whole of a hell easier than breaking out. Snapping around to look at Grace when she started to say something about how they couldn't just sit there, and they needed to get in now. Sending her a dirty look as if saying through the look alone 'shut up and listen to yourself.' Even though she had a feeling it wouldn't do any good what so ever. Grace was his mate. And no matter how much she may hate that she had promised to help get Will out and safe once more. "Shut up... yes we will get in there and get him out. But if we do it while there walking by we're going to get ourselves caught. And then we wouldn't be any more help to him." She snapped looking back over at the guards walking the border. Then looking up at the cameras. Counting the seconds of when they would shift and change so that they wouldn't get caught on the camera either.


Grace knew that Raven had a point. If they got caught they'd be no help to Will. And as much as she wanted to get in and get him out so that he'd be safe again... she was also grateful that Raven was here with her and helping. Seeing as she-- wasn't that rational right then. Seeing as the only thing she could think about was saving her mate and making sure he was okay and safe. Everything else didn't matter. Biting her tongue and turning back to watch the walkers.

Will looked up forcing his wolf back inside. He knew what they were doing trying to get him addicted to wolvesbane. Then they could break his mental standing. He would break giving in then would become part of the pack, but under their control. Will knew this process all to well he did it himself. "I don't know." He said his wolf wanted out and wanted wolvesbane. Looking at him. "You're not going to break me. I'm not going to be mindless puppet. I'm not going to tell you how to make more." Will snapped. Knowing he couldn't look at the wolfbane knowing that it would show that he was breaking.

Ruby hands found the rim of his shirt quickly tearing it off. "Bite me." She whispered seductively in his ear. Gently biting it moving away.

((I didn't want to go too far with Ruby because I knew we would have to take the rest to pm or skip. I mean they wouldn't be having sex its just I'm not sure how far kissing can go in thread))

Derek let the whip drop to the floor, trying a different tactic. Walking right up to the half breed and untying his hands only to tie them again to the ropes suspended to the ceiling. Maybe if his arms grew sore enough he would talk. "Fine-- then give me her address.. where does she live? I know you know that. Seeing as we saw you go to her place on a few occasions." He said as he walked around him.

By now Raven had learned how long the camera's stayed in one spot and also how long it would take for them to make two rounds of the building. If they were fast enough they could make it in, without getting caught by either the Camera's or the guards that were protroling waiting until the last guy turned the corner and the camera moved again before pulling Grace up with her and then running for it. Not wanting to take any chances. Getting in the door way and then shooting the lazer she'd brought to shut down the cameras. Turning to Grace once they were all off. "Can you sense Will at all? Anything?"


Grace had stopped herself from letting out a little scream of surpirse when Raven had grabbed her arm and pulled her into a run and finally into the building in which they had put Will. They had learned that by watching and listening for the past couple of days before they had finally decided to conduct the break out. Waiting out of sight with Raven while she shut the cams down with the lazer they'd brought with them. And then looked at her once they were off and she was asking on rather or not she could sense where in the building Will was being held. Closing her eyes and focusing on him.. his smell.. everything about him.

"I don't know. I been here. The last thing I said to her was to run." Will said realizing his eyes were drifting to the wolfbane. His arms burned from being over stretched. His arms start to tremble once you were addicted to wolfbane it was hard to stop. He knew that trembling meant his wolf needed it. Cursing to himself silently. "Are you stupid I'm not answering anything. Besides that I been here for a month. How am I suppose to know where she is?"

Derek didn't miss a thing. He saw when the half breed's eyes started to drift to the bottle of wolfsbane. But he didn't intend to use it for a while. "They say, that when you are as close as you and Grace are. It doesn't matter how far you are from each other you always know where each other are. Rather or not the other is in trouble... " He said making another loop around the room.


Grace felt her eyes pop open a few moments later. She knew where he was, in the building. And that's all that mattered. "I found him... he's in one of the holding rooms, further in." She said looking at Raven and then started to lead them in the direction she could feel him coming from. Only stopping when she got pulled to a stop so that they could take out the other cams as well.

"Stop talking about Grace." His wolf was coming out. Will wanted knew that he wanted wolfbane. He knew every symptom of it and he was experiencing it right now. "Grace doesn't matter you have what you want." His heart pounding. His flashed blue he saw them they were going to get caught. "You don't know Grace." His mind started to fog. "I need more." He whispered as he finally broke.

Raven had just blown out the last cam that they'd needed to get ride of in order to get by. Letting Grace take the lead seeing as she knew where they were going an she didn't. Pulling them both to a stop and scanning for camera's in the next hall way but not seeing any. Letting Grace go on ahead. Looking back every few minutes to make sure they weren't being fallowed or tracked. Not seeing anyone.



Grace could sense him. He was so close, now but so far away from her still. She couldn't wait to finally be with him again and be able to wrap her arms around him and make sure he was okay. Starting to lead Raven down yet another hallway. But stopping to check for cams and then taking the lazer and blowing them as well before continuing on. One more hallway. That's all that was left. Whispering to herself no louder than a mutter "Hold in there Will... we're almost there.."


Derek hadn't expected that Will would say that Grace didn't matter. Seeing as he thought he cared for her deeply. They had watched the two for a few weeks before moving in and taking him away. And in the short time that they had watched he had seen how close they were to each other. How much he cared for her. So to hear him saying that she didn't matter now-- that was quit something.

He was desperate and mindless at the moment he could care less about Grace and Raven. They broke him it wasn't like he didn't try to fight off everything, but it was just becoming harder for him stay in control.
