It's about the sex ring in Heywood that was in the news last year. It's got a black cover with a face of a young dark haired girl and Girl A written in pink. It's in my currently reading shelf if you can see it. The ISBN is 978-0-09-195134-4
Does that help???

Girl A: The truth about the Rochdale sex ring by the victim who stopped them

Six miles from your house? That's just creepy.

I know the area quite well, and the recession has just made it worse for people. Its quite scary to think that things like this are happening to such an extent.

Hannah was treated terribly by the police at first I thought. Even if that PC thought she had taken money for sex she was still only 14/15. Below the age of consent.
That Emma scares me.

I was appauled at the amount of time it took them to arrest the two people she told the police about when she was arrested the first time.. It's disgusting.

Hope I can find the time to read this one day. I have been following the discussion and it really seems like something I would be interested in.

I read the link Leanne, so Emma was described as the Honey Monster. That she truly was only 15 and she was delivering young girls to be used by these men seems unbelievable. But she was still trying to get Hannah back for so long. Do you think it was for more sexual abuse or violence in the form of being beaten up badly? Or even to make her disappear so there could be no court case?

I feel so sorry for her when Jane ( for the clinic) came Into school and trying to get her to open up, I was willing her to have the strength and courage
