Part 4: (view spoiler)[The Losers club makes me laugh, but i must admit these kids are smart, what kid teaches themselves how to make slugs...pretty damn remarkable if you ask me. (hide spoiler)]
Finished (view spoiler)[ So I have seen this movie, the old and the remake….The remake is so much better. But anyway I find this whole storyline to be a little disturbing in typical Stephen King fashion. Deliciously disturbing (hide spoiler)]

Also, I didn't like the chapter about Adrian being killed. I'm aware this book was written in a different time, but the handling of a young gay man being beaten by some homophobic men and killed, and how the police deal with it was very uncomfortable..

I also didn't expect George's death to be the forefront at the book. I think it's such an iconic scene and you remember it over everything else in the movies. So yeah, I was terrified reading it.

So I will likely be splitting this over 2 months. I thought all month would work but it is hard on my neck as it is too heavy to hold up so I am bending over it.

Finished: (view spoiler)[ I do love this book so. I still am not sure about the whole 'Bev has sex with each guy' thing - like I don't understand the need for it. But King did an excellent job of showcasing their friendship. The loss of Eddie is always sad but I feel it could have been worse. But the saddest part to me is the very end when they all start to lose their memories again. It makes me sad for their friendship that they won't have each other any more. (hide spoiler)]

This is the first book by King I have read. I didn’t expect all the slurs but I thought it would be more gruesome. Some books are more slur heavy than others. This is the worst I've seen so far though. It's a...Lot. And yeah, I think his tools are more atmosphere. I'm hoping it amps up the further along we get.

I haven't read many of King's books but I've noticed that he tends to paint a very crude picture of the world, especially when it comes to the cruelty of people.

Some of the information seems a bit unnecessary (view spoiler)[ like the pages just listing what was in Eddies medicine cabinet. I’m not exactly on board with all the random sexual references either. (hide spoiler)] I don’t think that stuff or all the sensitive subject matter is adding to Story at this point.
