It's a sci-fi book that takes place in a planet that was colonized by a ship sent from earth with embryos to create a population.

What I remember:
In this new planet there is no money or a similar economy to what we have. Everything is free but everyone works. Some time later earth send another ship with grown humans that are coming to try take control of this new planet. At first it looks like the inhabitant are not prepared to defend themselves but they actually do have advanced knowledge of science and are prepared. Since the new people were raised by robots they developed in a different more scientific way.
