Teresa (teresainohio) Lindsay is enjoying a quiet Friday evening with the girls at Susie's when Jacobi calls her and says I found the car that might of been involved in the murders. She agrees to ride along and her whole world changes that night. After a car chase which ends when the cars crashes and an awful shooting, she founds herself on the outside looking in. She is put on trial for abusive police force and most of the story is about her trial and her being on forced vacation. Being the cop she is she can't be on vacation. So we get her in a small town, that is having some unusual murders. For most of the story, the murder case takes a back seat to the trial of Lindsay. This book doesn't recieve a higher rating even though it is a quick read because the ending of the murders were a little off to me and I prefer when Andrew Gross is doing the writing of the Woman's Murder club. He seems just to write a little more concise and doesn't go off on too many side stories like Maxine Paetro does.
