SOLVED. Historical romance- heroine setup to look like having affair [s]

I don't remember much just this one scene - the h is at a party and she gets a note to meet someone in the hosts bedchamber. It was a setup so the H who is her husband would think she's having an affair.

I remember she goes but takes her cousin with her. There were at least two others in the room and I remember they all his so when the H came in the h appeared to be alone snd then they all popped out of different hiding spots.

Sorry it's kind of vague and I not a great description. Also I remember all but the h and H left the room and they had sex and were spied on by their host and hostess and the hostess made a comment about them doing it against the wall.

I remembered another scene in the book.

I think the h is investigating something and her cousin is helping her. I've remembered another scene where the h and her cousin and I think some others are all smushed in a carriage and there's a dog in there who farts and they struggle to get out.
