Aaron just rolled his eyes. "Yeah well, I never actually agreed to live at your house. I just said that I might, or make my own hose thing nearby, if mine was too far away. So, is it too far away?" He asked, crossing his arms. Not waiting for an answer, he walked into the house, and started to go down to the base,net where al, of his inventions and equipment are kept. Once he got down there, he started to rummage through the mess

She followed him looking around in awe. She was still running her brother's dog tag. She was thinking again of course. Her knife wound started to throb slightly. She knew she had to pour alcohol and maybe stitch it up. It was still oozing a little bit of blood. She looked around ignoring it.
Aaron had been waiting for her to answer his question for a while now. "So? Are you ever going to answer my question?" He asked her. He decided that by her not answering meant that she was pretty faR away from him. He decided to grab a big duffel bag, and pack it with stuff, like new inventions, and the machinery, and this one invention that was pretty much like a portable home. "Ok, let's go"
"Oh. Sorry. What did you ask again?" She looked confused. She was off in her own world when he asked it. She shrugged and quickly stepped outside. She looked around before heading off in the direction of her house. She stayed in the shadows and was rather silent. Her house was out of town a few miles. She felt much safer out there. They were close to the outskirts of town.
Aaron sighed. "Never mind. So, who all lived with you?" He asked, as he followed her out into the open. He could tell that she definitely preferred our away from civilization, which made a little sense, since civilization was a little weird, and rude at the moment. There was one the that concerned Aaron, but he didn't other to speak about it, at least not yet. He didn't really want to task something at the moment that he didn't really want to know the answer to.
"My whole family. Until my brother was drafted into the war. My mom and dad were killed." She said quietly. "And you can guess what happened to my brother." She mumbled and started to rub his dog tag with her thumb. The topic was a topic she hated to talk about. It made her weak. She cleared her throat before talking again. "Come. We're almost there." She said in a small voice. There was a house coming into view.
Aaron sort of just looked at her, nodding to what she was saying. He knew how she felt. He didn't even have any family himself. "Yeah, I am sorry about your parents, and your brother." He told her, feeling really sorry. It took a bit longer of a few awkward moments of silence, but they finally reached the house. "Is this it?" Aaron asked. "I will just go put my stuff a few yards from the house,"
She stayed silent and nodded. The door to the house was in clear sight. She acted like it wasn't even there. She started to climb up a part of the house. She climbed up to a window and opened it from the outside and slid in. The door was barricaded by wood. Kyra went into the her kitchen and took off most of her weapons except for a machete and a small knife. She then went back upstairs and crawled out the window.
Aaron went a few yards from the house to set up his invention. It took a awhile, but he finally got it set up, so there was a little house tent thing right outside the house. It had everything he would ever need in it, which he liked a lot. Exocet for food. There wasn't that much in there. He saw kyra, and decided to go up to her. "Hey, so, what are we going to do now?" He asked
She looked at the small house in confusion. She shrugged it off. "I usually hunt or scan the area for any intruders." She said and poked his house curiously. She has never seen something like that before. "There is water in the house." She said before turning to go back to the house.
Aaron was curiously watching her poke at the invention house thing. He smiled with delight knowing that she had never seen anything like this. "Ok, I have water in there, but would you mind if I joined you?" He asked her. He really needed something to do, so he didn't die of boredom here. And as of far, he had no ideas for projects any other inventions he could make.
"Um...sure...." She shrugged. "What did we all get for food from that gas station?" She asked. She had to know if she needed to go hunt for some small game quickly or not.

((sorry! I was on a trip, and just got back))Aaron frowned and looked through the bag. "um...we have apples, bread, some mystery meat that is not labeled, and some bananas." He told her. "Yeah, this isnt that much." He told her. "So, you think we should hunt or something?" Aaron asked. He needed to play it safe for now, and run things by her for a while so he could get a better feel for her, and her preferences.
"I think we are good on food and meat." She said with a nod. She didn't need to hunt unless needed. "Come in the house. It's safer and warmer in there. I can cook up the meat quickly." She said with a smile. She was still unsure about him but he seemed safe so far.
He smiled with her. He liked that she could cook, because he wasnt that good at cooking himself. "Ok, lets go," Aaron told her, following her into the house. His stomach rumbled, and he just realized how hungry he was. "Meat sounds amazing right now." He told her, as he sat down on a couch, that looked over at the kitchen. "Would you like me to help with anything?"
"Just show me how much you will eat." She said quietly from the kitchen. She removed the rest of her weapons from her body and put them on the kitchen table and then turned to grab the food. She placed it on the counter and pulled some pans from the cupboards down along with a knife and a cutting board.
((So sorry it took me so long! I have been so busy with school and what not. This is the first time I have been on in such a long time!))"Well," Aaron started, walking over to where she was making the food. "I normally like to eat a lot, but it really depends on how much food we have. If we dont have a lot then I will eat less to save the food, and even if we do have more, I will eat less just in case, you know? So, really, I dont care how much I eat." He told her, leaning up on the counter
"Alright." She started to cook enough for a portion for her and a portion for him. She made her small amount and made him a bigger amount. She watched what she was doing. "Can you please get two plates out and two spoons." She pointed at the cupboards.
Aaron nodded at her comment, looking through the cupboards to find what she asked him to get. Once he found them, he placed them next to the stove so she could serve out the plates. Once she did that, he brought them to a table, and sat down, placing a napkin on his lap.
She had a rather small portion of the food and he had the rest of it and that was much more then he portion. But that was how much she normally at. She ate it slowly and never really looked up. She kept one of her knives next to her for cutting and for killing. Her bow wasn't that far away from her either. Kyra was a jumpy kind of person and always was prepared.
Aaron was looking at her while she was eating, and smiled a little bit. She ate so slow, and she always acted as if somone was going to jump through the walls, and kill her. She seemed to jumpy. He was a little tempted to make a big sudden movement with a scream, but he wasnt that mean. Compared to her, Aaron was pretty much shoveling down his food. He loved food, like a lot, and he always ate a little quicker than what he used to, just in case. "So, hows life?" He asked her, attempting to make at least a little conversation.
She always savored her food. She also knew that if someone did barge in she knew they would be dead in an instant and she could get back to eating. "That's a dumb question." She mumbled. "My family died, all my hopes and dreams are crushed, and I have to fend for myself. Exactly what I should be doing at this age." She sighed and finished eating her portion and set it in the sink. "I'm going to go watch for any idiots that think they can survive a minute when on my land." She mumbled and climbed upstairs, up in the attic, and out onto the roof.
Aaron pretty much rolled his eyes on what she said. He had no idea where all this hostility was coming from. All he did was ask a simple, and plain question. Gosh, this alliance would be a little tricky. "Hey! It wasnt that dumb of a question! And you didnt have to be so down about everything!" He yelled after her up the stairs. He smiled and put his things in the sink, and started to wash the dishes. There was something about washing dishes that he liked. He didnt know what, maybe it was just that whenever he was, there always seemed to be a peace, and calm to it, as nothing really bad could happen. Once he was done, he dried his hands and looked out the window. Aaron saw something out of the corner of his eye, and he quickly turned to look at whatever it was, but nothing seemed to be there. He turned again, and saw it once again out of the corner of his eye. He looked towards it once more, and he saw that he was right. Something, or someone was there, and it was aiming a bow right at his face. "Hey! You might want to get down here!" He yelled up the stairs as an arrow was fired, and he ducked just before it hit him.
Kyra grumbled at his comebacks. She sat on the roof sharpening a stick to a point. It kept her quiet and calm. When she heard him call for help she first rolled her eyes and ignored him. But when she heard a noise like an arrow being released from a bow and striking a wall she immediately slid into the attic. She got her bow ready and ran down the steps silently. She saw the arrow sticking out from the wall. "Take my machete and go to the basement and lock the door. Don't come out until I get you." She instructed him. She stayed hidden on the steps waiting for any sign of movement in or outside the house.
