NO DEVIL WORSE

A PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER WITH A SUPERNATURAL EDGE!
He needed fast money. He found easy money. And it would take him on a journey to hell... but maybe not back again.

TEMPTATION

When Steve Hazlett’s mother dies, the bill for her care is forty thousand pounds – beyond Steve’s ability to pay. Then Don Carlton, Steve’s boss, hands Steve a promotion. Suddenly, Steve has his finger on the company’s financial pulse. A pulse that he can tap, a pulse that he can drain: embezzlement on a grand scale. Soon the forty thousand pounds are paid – but Steve can’t stop taking.

BLACKMAIL

Then Carlton appoints a new admin assistant: Nick Hestor. Hestor is curious. He finds out about the missing money. Then the blackmail starts. Emotional blackmail, subtle blackmail. Slowly but inexorably Steve is drawn into a web of lies, drug deals, fear and hate.

EVIL’S GRIP!

In the extremity of his terror, Steve crosses paths with an enigmatic young woman. Lisa has been victim to Nick Hestor’s evil many years ago, her youth ruined, her family torn apart. Steve and Lisa join forces and between them resolve to be rid of Hestor. But soon they realise that only the most extreme act of violence will free them - and even then evil’s grip may be too strong.

TO HELL... BUT MAYBE NOT BACK AGAIN

No Devil Worse is the story of a duel between total evil and compromised good. It is the story of a path that one man and one woman tread as they taste a temptation that is sweet and tread a path that is bitter. A path that will lead them to hell – but not back again.
