J.M. Rankin (jmrankin) | 54 comments Hi Everyone!
My name is Jacqui and I manage White Diamond Edits. I am a qualified copy-editor and proofreader, and have been working freelance for both writers and publishers alike for over five years. I am also a published author with my next two novels due for release later this year.

Having recently revamped my website I am now welcoming new writers who maybe in need of some editorial assistance.

I offer a free assessment of your first 1000 words. This not only helps you see how I work and if my methods are right for you, but it also helps me assess your work to see what level of assistance you require (I never take on work I feel I cannot effectively contribute to). I have offered this free assessment since day one and it has proved immensely popular.

For editing I charge £5 per 1000 words, and for proofreading £4 per 1000 words, and I can look at as much or as little of your work as you like, keeping you in total control of the whole process and its costs. I do not believe in charging for an entire manuscript or a certain word count as every book, and its writer, are different.

If you would like to contact me and discuss your project please feel free to do so, either through Goodreads (my author page at present), my direct email whitediamondedits@gmail.com, or via my website whitediamondedits.wordpress.com, where you will find more in-depth information and answers to other questions you may have.

I look forward to working with you.

Best wishes and happy writing,
Jacqui
