message 1: by Koori no hi (new)

Koori no hi She looked up and saw it standing, silhouetted by the moon. It was not moving, just casting a black figure against an impossibly big, off-white background. Then the wolf turned its head and looked at her.

She had no way of knowing that it was looking at her. It was standing up there on the cliff looking magnificent; but she, she was down there standing wretchedly in the forest. Somehow though, she knew it was standing there for her benefit. If only she knew that it had seen her – and it was willing her, with all its might, to turn back, to leave Dera Forest and never enter it again. The dangers were too great.

Time passed for the girl in the forest, she ran out of food and water. Soon she grew weak from thirst. She looked for water, for liquid of any kind, but there was nothing to be found. So she traveled on.

Staggering through the trees, hardly thinking in her dehydrated state. The one thing that kept her going was a small voice in her head telling her that the wolf on the cliff had had water. Finally, at the end of her strength, the girl staggered and collapsed onto the thick loam of the forest floor. For her the world went black.
