Pat Morris-jones | 1373 comments Paul I sympathise. I seem to be reading loads and not quite keeping pace, too many excellent books for one life time. Book vipers inspires me to read more than usual. Both a blessing and a curse.

There is a BBC programme on this on next Tuesday at 4.30 am:

Sandy | 458 comments I would like to watch that show. Maybe I'll see if it will be broadcast here in the US.

Pat Morris-jones | 1373 comments Be great if they put it on iplayer. The only way I would watch that is if I'm doing night duty and am not busy. That said I struggle to keep awake at that time so looking at a TV would be no good to me at all. Let's hope it comes on iplayer. I may ask hubby to record it, if he's not recording something else. Thanks Paul

Pat Morris-jones | 1373 comments Finally finished it. Really good read. Glad to get to end though, it is a big book. Some of facts really interesting. They relate to what happening today and it's easy to see where many of our present day customs/sayings come from.
