Anyone want to do a fantasy role play? I have an idea for one
Like a guy falls for a girl but the girls a mermaid and she's trying to keep that from him so like whenever she touches water she turns into a mermaid and she's also falling for the guy and he gets curious after some point.

There is a man that can send people back in time to an alternate universe, meaning you can't change the future, but we could go home any time and return at any time, to any time because we were chosen. All of it happened in real time, so if you left your home at 8 o'clock, you can spend a month in the other dimension, you'll come home a month later, so time it wisely. The rules were that you couldn't have anything life changing happen to you, because it would happen to your body in your home dimension as well. What he doesn't tell people is that if you spend too much time inside the dimension you'll slowly form into a natural part of it, meaning you can't go home, so you should visit your real life often to avoid losing yourself. That's something you'll have to figure out yourself, however.He chooses certain people he sees, and they are then granted a lifetime of time travelling to wherever they want. It seems amazing, but sometimes they get too into it and well...their real lives are soon lost, and it's like they never even existed. He likes playing with people, however, so he never warns them of that.
Anyway, we'll be doubling for this one. One guy and girl each. The two people (our "main" characters) he chooses will most likely be girls, since that's what people like playing. The people we're doubling as will be people from the time we're travelling to, which will probably end up as love interests since that's usually the way things go.
Must be detailed, at least one long paragraph for each character's actions. Character biographies don't have to be detailed; name, age, role, and appearance will suffice. PLEASE stay dedicated to the time period we travel to, so at least read up on the era before posting.
My preferred time periods are: the 1950's in America, the early 1900's/late 1800's in America (Wild West), Victorian era (late 1800's) in England, the 1920's in America, the 1940's in Germany or France, the 1980's in America, and finally 1776 in America.

I'm considering. Is there some goal for these characters? And 'm a little confused about the beginning. You said meaning, but you didn't complete your sentence. And the doubling of characters is a little vague.
Anyone willing to do maybe a Harry Potter or Camp Half Blood rp?

The goal depends on how the RP goes, but I was thinking that maybe one or both of the friends didn't want to leave, causing the problems that would happen if they stayed too long^^ maybe the man can deceive them and leave them there. I might have a couple ideas on where it can go but otherwise it's pretty vague.

Probably historical makes more sense. And I don't have any preference since I liked all the time periods you listed. If anything, I'd add 1920's were pretty great too. Perhaps there'll be a little more traveling so we can experience the different time periods.
