Therianthropy is the sequel to J Yates first novel Paradox Child and a great improvement it is. The story flows much better, the plot much better developed, it is exciting and draws you in. Much more effort was placed on character development and one actually begins to see more clearly the personality of the characters, even the personality of Lily's dog Mandy!
So what is Therianthropy about? It's a continuation of the first book Paradox Child, the story centers around a young girl called Lily who belongs to a family of magic practioners and time travelers. Therianthropy expands on the story by introducing shape shifters into the mix.
Therianthropy takes one on a journey of exciting time travel and spell casting. This second book also set the stage for the third sequel as there seems to be an impending battle between the shape shifters and those witches who are doing evil by casting spells on the children of shape shifters so that they stay permanently in their animal form....so I'm looking forward to the third sequel.
