Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments #102 done. Do you by any chance happen to have the correct ISBN for that edition? The ISBN-13 has been put into the ISBN-10 field, so has therefore been truncated.

Edit: It's OK, I found it. It was actually a duplicate of a different edition, so I've merged them now.

L'Atles Furtiu

Switch Language to Catalan

Published: 1998

Edition: Col·lecció Clàssica

Description:

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/19...

Kindle edition → hardcover
1 page → 160 pages
English → Japanese

I think it also needs to be combined with its English edition: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

Pascaline Please, Can you change the description of this book. It's not the good one

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

this is the good one :

"Izia bifurqua dans la rue du collège. Elle consulta sa montre. Parfait.

Thank you !

Ren | 688 comments #113 I have combined the book and changed the language, however it has a valid ASIN so that's a kindle edition. If you want to add the hardback edition you should provide the ISBN. I also put Guy Adams as primary author and left the secondary author as ガイ アダムス (there's a space between first and last name, that's what GR uses)

Ang | 69 comments Is is possible to have the 'blurb' added from the back of this book:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

It reads:

Seeds of the Word: Nga Kaakano o te Kupu explores the seed of the Gospel and the seedbed of Maoritanga, examining the differences and similarities between Maori spirituality and Christianity - and discovering the potential for a mutually enriching harmony of the two.

About the author:

Philip Cody SM is a chaplain to Maori in Wellington.

I have a book cover coming soon.

Please also note:
there is an error in the title - the words should read 'Te Kakano o te Kupu' .. not Te Kakano or TE Kupu.

Heikki | 84 comments Hi,

Please change the back cover text of this edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

to following Finnish one:
"Päähenkilönä" on Neuvostoliiton laivaston ylpeys, huippumoderni ydinsukellusvene Punainen lokakuu.
Veneen latvialainen kapteeni ja hänen mukanaan koko miehistö, on päättänyt loikata, ja tästä käynnistyy hermoja repivä metsästys talvisen Atlantin mittaamatomilla vesilakeuksilla. Äänettömästi liikkuva alus on kuin vedenalainen aave, jota Neuvostoliiton ja Yhdysvaltojen nopeimmat veneet yrittävät turhaan tavoittaa. Kahdeksantoista päivää jatkuva mahtava ralli huipentuu mittelöön, joka kirjallisena suorituksena päihittää maineikkaimmatkin meritaistelukuvaukset.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

ISBN: 951-643-452-5

Back cover text in Finnish:
John Kelly on tuttu mies Tom Clancyn lukijoille koodinimellä herra Clark.
Samaan aikaan Pentagon haluaa Kellyn Pohjois-Vietnamiin.

SheriC (shericpm) | 55 comments Please add a cover and description for The American, 1946, Duell, Sloan and Pearce: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

Cover: http://illinoisillinois.lib.siu.edu/i...

Description:
From the dust jacket: The American is a novel which tells the story of John Peter Atgeld of Illinois, a latter-day Lincoln, who sacrificed money and health and political power to become the champion of democracy and the foe of greed and corruption. Here is the story of his farm boyhood, of his Civil War experiences in the Army, and of his masterful struggles to become a successful lawyer and politician. But it is then that his real story begins and that he emerges as the last indigenous American hero, for, as Governor of Illinois, he pardoned the convicted Haymarket anarchists and touched off an epochal struggle between the forces of democracy and the powers-that-be.

Thanks!

Adventure : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Publisher: The World Publishing Company
Edition: Forum Books Motion Picture Edition, 2nd printing
Pages: 183
Cover: http://dyn3.heritagestatic.com/lf?set...

Description:

Originally published in 1937 as “The Anointed”, this was republished in 1946 as “Adventure” as a movie tie-in to the Gable/Garson motion picture based on the original novel.

From George Stevens, The Saturday Review, 7/31/1937
Those about to read "The Anointed" have much to look forward to in the career of Harry Patterson, who runs away to sea, gets in a jam with the Mexican police, is shipwrecked in the Caribbean, performs a feat in the Bay of Biscay which the Breton sailors take for a miracle, goes through some more adventures, and winds up in San Francisco, where he meets . . . But that's enough. Let Harry tell it to you. Harry is a picturesque citizen, with roots in America and the equator. After a lucky escape from danger, he decides, without conscious egotism, that he must have been put on earth to find out what it's all about.

I made these changes, but it needs format, i.e. hardcover, paperback, kindle.

Also, the date published is given as 2007 in the book record. That doesn't seem to match with either the description or the cover that you gave.

Hi, my source is indeed a not-Amazon bookseller but, whatever Amazon indicates, the Corgi edition IS in the bookshops NOW (I bought it yesterday) and the cover image is indeed the one corresponding to this edition: you may see that the "subtitile" under Stephen Baxter name is different in the image I sent you. Here's a bigger image that I didn't see yesterday:

I don't want to force you against your policy, but in this case you are relying on bad information; what I'd like to propose you, is to check my source:

and think about changing also the publishing date to February 27th 2014.

We cannot use images from booksellers apart from Amazon, so I cannot use that image at all: https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/2....

I've noticed that the cover is slightly different from the other covers, so I can't copy one across from one of the other editions. As you own the book, is it possible that you can scan the cover and we can then use your image?

I actually checked through several European Amazon sites and found that Amazon DE lists a published date of 28 January, so have updated the book with that. Seems that it was released in Germany and France before anywhere else. However, even there doesn't have a cover.

For reference, here's the book:

I'm sorry about that, Betsy. The format is hardcover, and the actual publication date is 1947. I'm unable to find any evidence that the book was republished in 2007, so that must have been a mistake by whomever originally created the book in the database. Just finding the information that I do have - the summary published as part of a book review - took an enormous amount of searching in obscure places.

John Jr. (john_e_branch_jr) | 58 comments For the edition of The Surgeon's Mate at https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1..., the description is incorrect in one respect: this is decidedly not an audiobook. (The description also contains typos.) As the details state, it's simply an alternate-cover version of the 1992 Norton paperback. Apparently the main entry for this book is the one at https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7...

Two suggestions: 1, copy the master description to the alternate-cover edition; 2, reward yourself for your work with a doughnut, a latte, some fine fruit, or whatever pleases you.
